She is real !!!
One winter day couple of students decided to take a camping trip, they wanted to visit Dire Grove ? one of the oldest Celtic archaeological sites in Britain. Unfortunately, something went terribly wrong and they never came back. Now it?s up to you to go there, as a detective, and follow the trace of missing students in order to find out what happened and is there really something bigger than just an old legend.
I personally, was blown away by astonishing graphics and fascinating movie like intro ( also clues that you will find along the way in the form of video tapes are filmed with real actors ). Storyline is perfect, and cold winter atmosphere is just the right touch to the whole adventure. There are no modes, and no map. But what you have besides your journal is a crime computer ( nice change).
There is hint button ( slow recharge). Hidden object scenes are good, objects are not too hard to spot. Lots of different puzzles, mostly challenging.
I had a really nice time playing this one, and it?s most definitely worth a try!

One of a Handful of Ultimate Online Games
This is what all game design companies should aspire to. Challenging puzzles, excellent graphics with a creepy setting and soundtrack, a storyline that makes sense and is not beyond the realms of believability and more importantly hooks you in until the end, and no over-reliance on hidden object screens.

You have to play this one!
If you love mystery and adventure, you will find the best of both worlds in this game! The creators of Dire Grove went beyond the normal game concept and added some real unique elements, like real people over animated ones. It is no wonder this game is always on the most popular game list. It's awesome.

Great Challenge
This is another huge game in my opinion, a long one anyhow but, fun. Great graphics again, pieces to put together, lot of searching to do, puzzling and hard at times. I enjoyed it very much.

Member since 2006 - played lots of games - THIS IS THE BEST!
Seriously, best game ever. The atmosphere of the game is eerie and cold. The season is winter and you can almost feel the crispness of the air; due to the excellent graphics. But the best part is that it has real people integrated into the game. I can't say enough about this game.

Totally Fan-tas-tic!!!
Everything about this game is Fantastic. From the first step you take to the very "creepy" ending, this game will keep you entertained for hours. I'm not sure this is the right game for the faint of heart, as there is a few scary moments, but if you make it to the end, you will be rewarded with a true sense of accomplishment.
Another game that I love to play again and again, and I'm sure you will too.

MCF - THE VERY BEST IN PC GAMING!
Pure genius! Story line drew my interest and I entered the awesome world of Mystery Case Files again. Creative, challenging and fun mixture of hidden objects and puzzles. This game is definitely a must-have. Looking forward to the newest sequel. BFG, I know you can do it, please! Highest recommendation!

Detective girl power at its best!
My most favourite games to play are the MCF. They are high quality on a number of points. They use pictures of real people in the games so you work frantically through the game to solve the mystery to help save the uni students. You have to really think about what you need to do as time is of the essence to save the kids, and you really want to get the baddies!
For lovers of detective thrillers where the woman is the hero, the Mystery Case File games are not to be missed. Very empowering for us girls!!!

Dire Grove is great.
Not just another hidden object game. Dire Grove takes you on a nice little adventure. The puzzles and tasks are not too difficult, but the average gamer won't breeze through the game in an evening. It has atmosphere that's pleasantly creepy! It was alot of fun!
