I Loved this game! This one I thought the whole game was a time challenge, but I was wrong. In fact, playing it is a really good idea. The kidnapping story line is great and the characters choices are soooooooooooo good (even if they are annoying). I totally LOVED playing it. October 29, 2012
The Final Scene This game is the best old Nancy Drew game. The characters are interesting and there is only one character you can say isn't the culprit. The plot is excellent, the setting is great, and the music isn't to bad either. The one problem is the length: it is short. October 15, 2013
A challenging game that keeps you engaged! This game is awesome! Me and my friend have done all of the nancy drew games together and we love them, they are funny and hard and interesting. They keep us entertained easily! I highly recomend these games! December 28, 2011
one of the best games ever it's a bit hard i you have to listen to what they are saying to get the game. But overall it is an awesome game. PS: it would help to read the book :) November 24, 2011
Whats not to love! Anything Nancy Drew I love to play. Always great stories and good challenges. A must to play! Play them all! December 3, 2013
This one was great! This ND game was excellent! I had a lot of fun playing it. Although i accidentally deleted all my progress when i was almost done.:( that made the second attempt a little more frustrating. There werent that many puzzles come to think of it. this was one had a lot of find the hidden object kind of thing. I was disapointed who the bad guy was though. There is a twist that is very unexpected and nice to have. this game had a lot of secret passages and the location was very cool. I honestly found that this game is very inspiring. Lots of parts make you jump. This game was super fun and so intriguing! i hope you liked it as much as i did!!!!:) August 5, 2012
Race against Time! Again, one of the best 'old' ND games. I like how Nancy's urgency in finding her friend in this game. The characters are unique, with interesting personality, not very likeable, but making it difficult to predict who is the real culprit. Being an old game, the game is long and have quite a few places to explore. Play this game and you'll see what I mean^^ May 10, 2012
Hard but good It was harder than the first 4, I had to get a friend to help me as you need to do certain tasks to trigger events to move the story on, but once I got going I really enjoyed it, the ending is heart pumping!! June 4, 2012
Fun Nancy Drew Game! Rating 4.4 for a Nancy Drew Game If you have not played a Nancy Drew game, be sure to play the trial version before buying this game because ND games are different from most Big Fish games. There were only a few puzzles in the entire game and no HOs. There is a lot of talking to the same suspects over and over again and you have to think about their responses and the evidence you've gathered in repetitive room searches in order to proceed with the game. If you are playing a ND for the first time, I'd advise playing as a 'Junior Detective' in order to get hints from Nancy's friends when you telephone them. And, as another reviewer noted, you have to keep your own notes in a ND game. For people who like ND games, this one was fun! I enjoyed playing it. It is one the early ND games so it was less polished and had fewer puzzles, but it had an interesting story and group of suspects, and the scene of the crime was limited to a theatre which decreased the number of rooms to be revisited. It also had hidden passageways-- always a plus! I played the game as a 'Senior Detective' but had to search online for a strategy-guide hint twice. Otherwise, it was a fairly easy game, good length, and has a great adrenaline rush at the end...thank goodness for the 'Second Chance' option! I would definitely recommend this game to any Nancy Drew game fan. March 5, 2014
Who kidnapped Nancy's friend in a movie theatre? This is the 5th game in the Nancy Drew series, which was released in 2001. Unfortunately, it shows: * Graphics are sometimes a bit blurry on a high definition 23'' screen * ...and they are dated. * I only counted 4 riddles / mini games. (Note-Slider, Keylock-Slider, type Numbers in correct order, box puzzle) * Some phone numbers are absolutely useless since nobody answers. On the positive side... * the voice acting was spot-on as usual, * we got more than our share of suspects and people to talk to, * and I was really surprised who the culprit was. (I expected somebody else.) The game was a bit on the short side, and - like Scarlet Hand - you would have had to take down notes. (Which I refused to do and referred to a walkthrough instead after reading through the instructions once.) The game was not bad, but there are a lot of better games in the series. It would have been great in 2001, but in 2012 I cannot - in good conscience - recommend it anymore. January 5, 2012
