Insider Tales: Vanished in Rome Hidden Object Puzzle game. Great potential. HO scenes slightly challenging - you've got to really scrutinise the scene - and great interactivity. There are puzzles inside the HO scenes. HO's are a mixture of find my list, shadow, put back into place, and find x amount of an item. The only disappointment is the length. A real let down. I didn't skip anything and I didn't use any hints yet by the time I finished the demo, I had completed 4 chapters which only left 1 chapter remaining. Devs, what were you thinking? Looking at the reviews, I would imagine that by skimping on game play, there's been a heck of a lot of revenue lost. A big shame. I'm going to recommend the game because it is a lot of fun, but only as a demo (and if you're fast enough, you'll complete the game in the demo). October 5, 2012
Was Not Easy I didn't think this was too hard or too easy but I don't see how a young child could do this. I was struggling. I didn't get very far playing only an hour. You want a challenge then here it is. I suppose everyone has their opinion but I found this not as easy as I thought. Try your luck and see what you think. I see it as a bit of a challenge. Pretty good game The character animation is a little distracting when they're talking, but not to worry! The puzzles and HOS's are pretty good, even challenging at times. A few puzzles are really simple and take just a minute or two. I liked the scenes very much, although some of them were terribly cluttered. I have to say that I enjoyed this game, and have played it a few times. January 4, 2013
This is a good but short game I enjoyed playing this game. There is a mystery to solve. While you are doing that you must find hidden objects, take pictures of certain parts of scenes, and find objects by matching them with silhouettes. Sometimes you find objects that you will need to use in the next part of the game. There are also a few minigames. You travel to different parts of Italy to try to solve the mystery. I thought the art work was very good, but some of the scenes were so cluttered that it was challenging to find the objects. There is a good hint system if you get stuck, and it recharges fairly quickly. I would have enjoyed playing this game even longer, but it ends rather abruptly. It would have been better to make the game longer, in my opinion. I do recommend this game! December 19, 2014
Hmm.. it was ok... I like Insider Tales: Casanova so I bought this one.. however this is a step backward, there are lots and lots of HOG scenes and it's getting repetitive that it's boring. Some of the items have same name but the game only recognize one so it's misleading sometimes. The background music reminds me of Agatha Christie games, which I like. The game, to my surprise is a bit long, but maybe because I have difficulty finding an item. If you are new to HOG games, you might like this one. March 9, 2013
Hard to tell Slow, jerky cursor with no option to revert to the system default. This is one of my pet peeves and find most annoying. I'm surprised that I managed to get through the first 5 minutes of the demo. April 8, 2012
