Wow - Lots of levels to play through, with varying degrees of difficulty . . . ! Some levels are particularly hard, especially those with annoying corner spots . . . The power-ups, including rockets, bombs & blizzards, show up in places that don't always help, which adds to the challenge . . . You can play this game untimed, & on some levels, that's a good thing . . .
The background art is particularly fabulous . . . !

I just checked out this game and it is a very cute holiday game that I will be able to play with grandson! And by myself! lol. It can be played timed or relaxed, which is a plus! I am usually not a big fan of match 3, but I will buy this one!

A Cheery Holiday Game!
This game is a traditional M3 with a lovely holiday theme and music. The graphics are bright and the colors are vivid. As the levels increase there are double locked tiles and chains. Power ups appear as you create more complex matches. It's not a difficult game, just one you are able to enjoy and play without any added stress. You earn points to add ornaments to your Christmas tree. Not all games have to present a huge challenge to be fun, and this is one that I'll play, even when there's no snow on the ground. It IS okay to just have fun! Cheers!

An M3 that fits the season of Christmas. As you gain points you decorate your tree with lights, gifts, ornaments etc. Although the graphics for the ornaments are kind of cartoonish it is still entertaining and enjoyable. The music and background sounds are soothing and not overwhelming. The game play is smooth. I really enjoy this game and have bought it.

Addictive Christmas Match-3 Fun
What a fun little holiday gem! I don't usually play Match-3 games but got this during a holiday sale, and I have been playing it daily. I tried the timed version, not fun, but discovered the untimed version and that was perfect for me. There are over 100 levels to this game. As you clear the board you earn points which are used to buy a variety of items to decorate your tree, from light bulbs to ornaments and garland swags. There are also items for under and around the tree, such as snowmen, presents and Santas. I liked the holiday music (although repetitive so could be irksome for some), the cheery tunes put me in a holiday mood. The BEST thing about this game is that whenever I got stuck and couldn't clear a row, I learned to just wait a bit and a power-up type of item would suddenly appear to help me clear the row, loved that feature!

Review based on trial, and then purchase.
Purchased the game after fifteen minutes of the demo. It is a typical Match 3 game, in that you make chains of three or more to clear the board. You can earn a wide variety of power-ups, such as Clear a Whole Row, Randomly Scramble Tiles, or Blast Everything in the Area Around the Bomb, and others.
What makes this game unique from other Match 3 games is that the holiday-themed graphics are quite bright and very cute, with absolutely no dark or horror-driven themes, so it is very child friendly. You can choose to play the Relaxed Mode or Timed version, and even though it initially seems almost too easy and simple, you'll find that the levels get more and more challenging as you move through the game.
As you clear out tiles and move through each level, you earn Stars. You then use your Stars to purchase various decorations such as ornaments or tinsel and lights to decorate your Christmas Tree. Every time you complete a level, the game takes you back to your Christmas Tree, where you can continue decorating. Even though I initially thought it was a bit silly and simple, I was surprised at how involved I became in placing the ornaments and putting gifts under the tree.
Then, after moving through dozens of levels, I began exchanging some of my ornaments or tinsel for higher quality ones, as I had accumulated plenty of Stars as currency by that point in the game. Again, I ended up being surprised at how engaged I became in decorating my Christmas Tree, and it made moving through the increasingly challenging levels much more fun, especially as I worked towards earning Stars to purchase a specific ornament or sparkly decoration. Very clever twist on the game.
Two other things that are particularly favorable about this game: one, the music is very pleasant and holiday themed, and two, the developers added a really special touch when they added the feature of the entire board melting away as you complete each level. It really adds an enjoyable fun factor to the game as you watch the tiles fade away at the end of every level. Very well done, developers. Truly magical. The bright colors and soft music are also perfect, and add to the overall experience.
I rarely give five out of five stars, but this game hits on every note. Great colorful graphics, pleasant music, lots of cute surprises, challenging enough to keep you motivated, yet relaxing enough to keeps the kids or grandparents satisfied, and the added bonus of decorating the Christmas Tree between every level of the game.
One of the best Match 3 games available.
If you like this game, you would probably also like Fishdom - Frosty Splash, Rainbow Web 3, Dynomite Deluxe, Bejewled Twist, Arcanika, or Chuzzle Deluxe. Have fun!

Rockin' Around The "Perfect" Tree
I just fell in love with this Match 3 game. It's perfect fun all around!

A fun way to pass the time
I found this fun. Different challenging levels and power ups made it ideal. As you accrue points by matching 3 you use those points to buy ornaments, lights and decor for your tree as well as presents for beneath it. The tree does offer everything. Look for the different categories which offer presents, bulbs, stars, and more (am going on memory at this point after trying the trial version). The decorating categories not being used are faded out when not actively using that section. The graphics were simple and nice. I enjoyed the matching 3 more than decorating the tree but decorating was fun too. Normally, I tend to mute my games because I find that to be detracting but due to the fact that this was Christmas-oriented I wanted to give the music a fair try. Well, let's just say that I ended up muting it and continued on with the game without the sound. That doesn't mean that the music was bad. I just found it to be detracting as time passed.
