Lots of fun Dreamless Castle is not quite as good as Moonfell Wood, but it is still an excellent game. There were relatively few HOS but they were very good ones. The plot was transparent but likeable. The puzzles, which I generally dislike, were actually fun for a real change of pace. I actually liked most of the puzzles. This is a very good game that was lots of fun, bereft of the dumb puzzles afflicting so many HOGs. February 14, 2012
Recommended for Children and Novices I recommend this game, because there are only two choices there, but my recommendation is conditional. For experienced adventure gamers, this is a waste of money. For novices, or for younger gamers, this game might be just the thing. Awakening: The Dreamless Castle is a retelling of the Sleeping Beauty story in the form of an adventure game. The graphics are lovely and the music is pleasant. As the awakened princess you must find your way out of your castle by using objects that you find along the way and solving various puzzles. There is a very generous hint system in the form of a fairy whose job is to help you. I found the puzzles too easy to be very interesting, and the game too short (just over 3 hours). These qualities, however, would make Awakening a good introduction to this type of game for children or novices at this sort of game. December 9, 2011
Good for Children Far too easy. Only allows 'unlocks' in a specific order. Not at all challenging, which may be ok for some but not if you're after something like Enigmatits: The Ghosts of Maple Creek - which is excellent, or Dark Dimensions: City of Fog - which is great. Thought I would try it for a change, would have been nice if more challenging and allowed you to move about without HAVING to do something else first. November 27, 2012
A Beautiful Girl's Fairy Tale Graphics: The graphics are cartoon-based and everything was bright and clear. Every scene was gorgeous and I loved how everything looked like a fairy tale should. Music/Vocal: This game had very lovely music and the sound effects were appropriate with the mythical atmosphere. I have to admit that I loved the storyteller?s voice because she sounded like a grandmother telling her grandchildren a bed time story. Puzzles/HOS: The HOS and puzzles were of basic format and a little on the easy side so if you come looking for a challenge, find another game. Length: I finished the game in a little over 2 hours so I would consider this a shorter game but I've played shorter. Characters: All of the characters I thought fit well with the story and I really liked the goblins. Story: You play as a girl who wakes up in a castle filled with only goblins and one fairy and you move around the castle trying to find out who you are and what happened to this empty castle. Overall: The game is cute and catered to girls (sorry guys...). It's got some beautiful scenes and a lovely atmosphere to go with the simple fairy tale. Happy Gaming :) March 26, 2012
Enchantingly Beautiful This is not a standard HO game although there are a few such scenarios. The majority of tasks however are finding items and using them elsewhere interspersed with mini puzzles which are relatively simple (as opposed to perplexing as described above). My favourite is the goblinjongg. That said this is a beautifully crafted game with well done voice overs, bright and clear scenarios, relaxing music and the goblins are delightful especially Boris. If you like fairies, goblins, magic and unicorns this game is for you. It is one of my all time favourites. Thank you Boom Zap. January 27, 2012
Part of a Trilogy This was one in a series that my daughter picked out for us to play. I enjoyed it and recommend all 3. November 15, 2011

Surprisingly Good Game! My wife and I picked this game up in one of the Big Fish sales, not really sure what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised. The game had a great story, nice graphics and challenging puzzles. We have since purchased the two followup games, but have yet to play them, so many games and so little time! December 3, 2011
Nice game It is a nice game to play I enjoyed it thoroughly. Played Moonfell first before realizing that this was the first in the series. April 7, 2012
