Potion Bar 4.4 5 12 12
One of my favorites! This game had me playing from start to finish. I wish the game was longer! The story behind the game was fun to read and understand and seeing all the different consistent characters throughout the game was wonderful. The graphics were really clean and the colors really pop within the game. I would have payed twice as much for this game! January 14, 2012
Fun Game Lots of strange characters to make potions for. I liked this game quite a bit. The only thing I didn't like, was you cannot skip the mini-games. The games are easy, but after you play this game 4 or 5 times, the mini-games are boring. November 22, 2011
One of best TM games! Love it!!! Awesome Game! Since purchase over a year ago, I have replayed 6 to 8 times. So sad there wasn't 2nd one or follow up on this story?? Only thing I would change is make it longer and maybe more exciting ending. Great storyline, graphics, mini games and gameplay. Rates high on my Favorite, All Time, Time Management Games!! Potion Bar I thought that this game was really fun. My sister who is 5 tried it, and she thought it was fun and easy for her. November 16, 2011
Really Fun This is an all-around great game that I will go back and replay just because it is so well put together. I love it and would not hesitate to recommend it. September 7, 2012
One of my favorite! I LOVE this game! I play it again and again, even if I finished it. The story is pretty original and the characters are excellent, especially the lady with the racoon! June 19, 2012
I'll drink to that! This supernatural time management game was really different, and somewhat magickal. A newspaper columnist gets an invitation to go to a shady club downtown, and next thing she knows, she is under a spell to run a Potion Bar! There is a former proprietor we only know as Jack, and a talking black and white tabby cat that helps us run the place. We serve up potions to unusual patrons, like Rastafarians, flower children, adventurers, witches, fortune tellers and so on... Our work takes us to magickal ports of call via teleportation, from San Fransisco to Istanbul, to London and more as we work the bar we are bound to, and hunt for the mysterious Jack. Our drinks are not the usual mixes like Rum & Coke. They feature herbs like clover, saffron, spotted mushrooms, and even phoenix feathers. Once a week we brew up new potions for the bar in a hidden object game using weird ingredients, and some looking like a Cosmic Climax from Jungle Jims in Lake Buena Vista. The storyline is a very curious one, and you will want to continue playing past the trial to learn more about Jack, your furry supervisor, and the other characters that become part of not-so-routine daily routine. If you are wanting a more mystical kind of dash game, then step into the Potion Bar. June 5, 2012
Basic TM game, entertaining once I played this a few times when it came out. Since it seems nobody will bring out exciting new TM games, I'm looking through old ones and rating the ones I've played. This was OK, cute, entertaining, but overall nothing terrifically special. May 24, 2012
It's OK. I liked the graphics. It's a "pretty" game. However there wasn't really anything that challenging to the game. I don't think I had any customers walk out through the entire game. You were required to play mini-games after every 3-4 levels that felt like a waste of time (find the object mini and place very obvious puzzle pieces together mini - maybe creators tried to combine a few aspects of "casual" gaming, not limited to just time management - I think it failed.). I think I finished the entire game in 3-4 hours tops. I didn't see any bonus points on serve time so whether you serve people fast or slow just serve before they walk out. It's extremely easy to hit "expert" on every level. I got the game on special for $3 so overall not bad for a so-so experience. I would have been extremely disappointed if paid $10 full price as I don't think the game play is worth that. Not sure of what the ending really meant, it was a bit hard following the story line (I'd skip through the chat bubbles). And I find it amusing that "Jack" looks like animated Tom Selleck! =) November 13, 2011
Wanted to like it The premise is intriguing (an otherworldly bar with magickal customers), and the graphics are attractive. But it's a pretty simple time management game (even for a TM novice like me). The dialogue was trite, and the customers kept repeating the same phrases. You also saw the same handful of customers come in over and over for the same potions. If I'm bored in the first 15 minutes, am I going to buy the game? I also had a problem with the game running slow at the end of each level when the fireworks inched across the screen instead of bursting. If looking to purchase this game, buyer beware...of tedium, unless you are looking for a pretty, but mindless endeavor. July 4, 2012
