Beatiful Graphics The scenery in this game is stunning - beautiful graphics, however, very hard to see the hidden objects - I rarely use hints and I found myself having to use at least one hint each scene. The music was very nice. I didn't care for the mini games of decorating the cake, arranging flowers - that was pretty lame. I didn't buy the game because I don't think I would play it more than the one time but it was a nice game. February 14, 2012
Beautiful graphics but easy game The scenery and graphics in this game were beautiful. However, the game soon became boring. I was expecting either more of a plot or a more difficult game. I would recommend it only for die hard Nora Roberts fans. December 28, 2011
Not my cup of tea, I suppose This game was ok, but I wouldn't seek out anymore just like it. In all honesty, I can't quite put my finger on why it didn't dazzle me, but "Otherworlds - Spring of Shadows" did. I guess I didn't take to the main character's personality is all. The game was a good time passer, I suppose. For the right person, this game might be awesome. September 27, 2013
2.5 - Straight HOG with a couple of puzzles - pros and cons list As I am such a fan of dream day series I decided to buy this game as I love weddings and am a romantic. It has voiceovers and a story, the length of the game was OK (standard SE) but it fell so short of the dream day series for me. Pros ? -Romantic plot -Choice of playing game timed or untimed. You have a set amount of time for the whole chapter. -Mostly non junk piles/very cluttered scenes -Finding letters ? v.o.w.s in each scene which earns you a hint Cons ? -Most items to find were tiny, I didn?t mind a couple in each scene but there were loads. -Also items were really well blended, a lot of white on white -Repeating of HO scenes -Puzzles weren?t good and they kept repeating the few they had (take photo, make cake and flower arrangements and avoid people to get to an exit) -limited amount of hints if you run out, you are stuck! If you are an avid HO fan, and romantic with good eyesight then I recommend it to you. But no walkthrough if you are stuck with finding items and no way to get more hints is annoying. July 25, 2012
Not my Favourite Game I am a Nora Roberts fan and have read the book of this game and enjoyed the book far more than the game. Too many hidden object scenes in this game, with most of the objects being really difficult to find. I used up my hints quite quickly. I would have preferred more cake decorating and photography options and less emphasis on the hidden object scenes. The difficulty of the HOS took most of the fun out of it for me. Even the VOWS letters were hard to find. Too much work - not enough fun. I don't like this game much. December 27, 2012
Awful I don't feel that it had a good enough story line, all it did with each scene was go straight into a new HOS, there is no way I would pay 5.39 for it, I wouldn't even get it on a Daily deal purchase, and if Nora Roberts book are anything like this game, no way hose, sorry JMO January 11, 2014
Sorry Nora I love Nora Roberts and have read every book she's written and kept a few "series" including this one. Yes, the game was on point with the book and seeing the characters instead of imaging them - well, they were just as I had imagined. That's as far as it goes for me. I intensely dislike games where you have to earn hints or have very limited hints, especially when your HOGs are so tiny you really do need a magnifying glass to find almost every item - and I have "old" eyes (smile). That totally spoils the game for me every time. If you are going to develop a game with HOGs that are so miniscule and mish mashy that you can't find them at least have a rechargeable hint button. Love you, Nora, hate the game. Sorry, another rarity for this Glam-ma but she says run for the hills on this one. August 1, 2013
irjo Items are too small to see and too repetitive. July 18, 2012
