Adventuresome Hidden Object Game!
A fun hidden object adventure game that starts from the Sleeping Beauty fairy tale. The graphics and sound are very nice, however, some of the hidden object puzzles were too dark to find many objects. Even so, it's an enjoyable game with fresh puzzles and a good storyline.

Interesting and fun
The storyline and mini-twists were great and it was a lot of fun to get into the story and not just be consumed with trying to figure out what to do next.
A little on the easy side - particularly because the objects are all just pieces of one object -- but nice and relaxing. Art is very well done, and the hint system is helpful but not too leading.
This one made me want to try the other two in the series.

One of my Favorites
I love the Dark Parables series because of the beautiful graphics and challenging gameplay. I'm not typically a huge fan of Hidden Object games that require you to build objects with parts that you find, but this one doesn't bother me. The story is intriguing and whenever I was confused about what to do, the Hint option was almost always useful.

Another Winner
Exiled Prince was my first FROG and I loved it so much had to have this one. I like that the background music is not obtrusive and annoying. There are lots of HO's, no annoying voice interactions, and a few puzzles that are fairly easy - I have a tendency to skip when I get frustrated but I achieved all of these. I did not follow a very logical path to success but that was no problem. The hint has a good recharge time even without finding all the morph items. The only downside for me was the darkness of the 'inspect' pictures' which I found annoying but which did not detract from the overall enjoyment.

The Dark Parable games are wonderful!
I am a huge fan of the Dark Parable games. They're extremely well done - beautiful graphics, great music, great ambient sound. This one isn't quite as good as the later ones (they have a few improvements), but given that it's the first one, it's still really well done. And for a first game in a series, it's definitely a five star one.
This is a fragmented object hidden object game with other puzzles, first off. So if you don't enjoy having to find your objects in multiple pieces, this isn't the game for you. I think it's rather well done in this game, though. Rather than being the typical scene after scene full of random (and possibly totally out of place) junk, which starts to look silly sometimes, the pieces are cleverly hidden in the scenes. It shows you pictures of the pieces you're looking for, and doing it as the fragments makes it fit better with the story for me. Once you've found all the fragments, you end up with an item to use somewhere in the game.
The puzzles tend to be on the easy side, but it's still an enjoyable game. It's more of a hidden object than a puzzle game anyway, but I like the fact that there's some of both. This may also have a bit too much back and forth between scenes for some people, but I've honestly seen much worse in other games and it didn't really bother me. It's also not a perfectly linear game like some, so how much back and forth you do is partially up to what order you decide to do things in. Of course, just like any game, there are some things that will have to be completed before some other things. It's just not 100% linear like some other games.
If you like fairy tales, don't mind a darker twist to them, and don't dislike fragmented hidden object games, then I highly recommend this game and the others in this series. (In fact, I'd recommend many of the games done by Blue Tea Games.) Just fabulous!

A Different Kind of Challenge
This was the first Blue Tea Games game that I'd played. Normally I do the trial version and I've played the demo several times on different computers --just because I always went back to this one. I wanted to know how it ended.
There isn't much character interaction, so that may be disappointing for some of you who like to interact with different characters. The fact that you can't click "Hint" when you don't have an objective is kind of frustrating if you're the type to click "Hint" every 5 seconds. The HOS (hidden objects scene{s}) were challenging because of the graphics, I believe, more than anything else. You're not searching for a whole object like "shoe," "TV," "soup can." You're searching for pieces of items. For instance, you'll spend an entire HOS finding pieces of what will make up a sword or something along those lines. Sometimes the graphics were a little fuzzy and made it difficult to find the pieces, but all in all, it was a good game. It got me started on all Blue Tea Games games and led me to Dark Parables: The Exiled Prince.

Another great one!
Personally I love dark fairy tales and this falls into that category.
Thing about the collector's edition though is I don't really feel that the extras are worth it... It's definitely worth it as a regular edition as the length of the game is good. Just don't feel that the extra gameplay is enough to warrant double the price. Maybe an extra $2 or $3, but not double. But that's just me.
Other than that, it's a really great game. In my top 10% of favorites ^_^ So buying the regular version would be a good thing.
