Island: The Lost Medallion
Good quick game
This game wasn't one of my highest ranked games. The hidden objects were extremely well hidden! I found myself looking harder for some items that ever before. I'm not complaining, because I really do enjoy the challenge that it presented.
Where I found issue with the game, it was the cutscenes. I found these to not be exciting. They didn't capture my interest at all. I ended up skipping through them.
The puzzles, I really enjoyed. I was capable of working through them without of any use of hints.
I would say that this would be a great game for a beginner.

Not a bad game, on the short side. Some of the objects are hard to find, but the hint recharges quickly. Some of the puzzles took me a bit to figure out - the instructions leave a bit to be desired. Storyline was a bit lacking. I bought this one on sale - suggest you do the same. It did give me something to do for about 4 hours.

A matter of taste
Some may like this game as the story seemed to be interesting but I have to tell you, it bored me to death. While I like the occasional HOS in the course of the story, this one gives you no more than a very brief breather between them then gives you the next scene in the story rather than let you move through the story as a participant.
As I said, some may like it, especially if they like many, many hidden object scenes, but it is not my cup of tea. Can't finish it!

Not a challange, optical nightmare
I have played over 100 Hidden Object games. I have seen most types of camouflage, blending or other methods to hide objects. These are a challenge. In this game, the objects are not just hidden but tiny. On some challenges, the pieces you need to put together objects are so small that I could not even see them when using the hint. I just clicked inside the circle and got the pieces. They were so tiny and set into a similar background that they were impossible to see at all.

Not worth $2.99
Sorry, I found it very disappointing. Wish I would have tried the download first, live and learn. Glad it was only $2.99! The HOG are frequent and VERY VERY small!! Playing turned into a pixel hunt....not the type of hunt I was looking for. The cut scenes were cartoonish, the HOG scenes, other than small objects were very well done, with clarity. After 30 minutes I gave up, found very boring, you lose the storyline when every other scene is a HOG. If you LOVE LOVE LOVE HOG, then this is a great game for you, as there is not much more involvement. I prefer minigames which I found to be few, there were 2 in 30 minutes.

Too many tiny items
So many small items crammed into small space, difficult to discern items. Wound up just clicking, that isn't a good game. Wish I could get a refund for this horrible game.
