Not One of the Best This game is basically a one-trick pony - hidden object scene after hidden object scene, and none interesting enough to capture one's attention. The sound effects and music, if you can call them that, are terrible. I suppose the game is trying to set up a mysterious mood, but it only achieved a steady monotony. The story line was textbook basic: find the hidden object that allows you to go to the next hidden object puzzle. The creators could have done better. November 4, 2012
Great for beginners! I really enjoy this game. It is the perfect blend of "find the object" and adventure. There is a task presented in each scene so you know what to do, and the hidden object mini-games aren't too difficult. This is good for the beginner to intermediate player like myself. Also, there are two modes: casual and advanced; so you can select according to your skill level. I imagine that the advanced mode is more challenging. I like games that are challenging, but not so much to where I need a strategy guide or walk-though just to play it. So this game was perfect for what I was looking for. October 27, 2012
Played More than Once! This game was one of my first games when I found BigFish, I enjoyed it so much I played 3 times! I really liked it and the people I recommended it too also enjoyed and got hooked onto BigFish. I wish they would make another one like it. October 1, 2012
Haunted Manor: Lord of Mirrors For me this was another enjoyable game. It was an easy game, I only had to use the walkthrough a couple of times. The hint button was there if I needed to use it. Some games you'd need to be the developer to know what to do. As I myself read the reveiws, there are many different opinions on the same game, I am glad with the variety, some games for people like me, and some for the smarter ones who figure things out easier. A good game. September 4, 2012
Enjoyable HO A decent HO. Nothing remarkable. Could be boring to anyone with experience. I recommend this game but only for beginners. August 23, 2012
old fashion fun with lots of HO. I guess this is the number 1 , I played number 2 already which was great. Tons of HO in this one, great graphics, it's an early game so a bit old fashion but still fun all and all...Not extraordinary story line,it's meat and potatoes on this one ! But I had fun. Played half of it. Love adventure games with mystery etc. But this game was not at all challenging nor did it really have any wow factor. Ended up uninstalling it half way through as I didnt think it was worth playing the same sort puzzle again and again. July 29, 2012
A spooky good time You have to help Stan get out of the haunted house, where he has gone on a dare. Stunning graphics. The nicest HO scenes, very clear, unjumbled, non-interactive. Each mirror is a separate room. Great puzzles. Some seek and find. Nice music. You have to figure some stuff out for yourself, which makes for a nice challenge. Long game, too, 6 1/2 hours for me, casual play. July 26, 2012
This was a lot of fun A lot going on here: the HOs, puzzles, collection, some participation to advance the game. I really enjoyed it. It may not be as gorgeous as some games, graphically, but the developer put a lot of thought into this one, IMHO. July 8, 2012
definatly my cup of tea! I read the reviews for this game before i purchsed and wasnt too sure if i had made the right choice. My first reaction is that people need to try this first as its not everyones cup of tea. The game itself is really good, great graphics although yes it was a little easy at some points and you dont get the option to play easy or hard mode. The game is a different format to many other games, you find the HO and the object obtained helps you in the certain room your in, you complete one room before moving onto the next which was great - no running back and forth. Overall i liked it and cant wait for the sequel :) June 9, 2012
