Shaman Odyssey - Tropic Adventure
Shaman Odyssey : a real challenge
This game is hard. If you do not want a CHALLENGE do not buy it. It takes you a while to learn how to use the controls. It also takes you a while to figure out how to achieve the quests. Once you get the hang of it this game it is fun. You have to build buildings(don't forget to go buy blueprints in the shaman hut). You collect plants for potions(you also have to buy the recipe in the shamans hut) to cure your islanders. You upgrade things to make them happy. You collect what they ask for. I enjoy this game. It is hard to meet some of the quest in the time they give you but you just keep trying. Try it and see. Swim of fishes!

I nearly missed this cute little TM game
As a fan of TM and "tropical island" games, I had to try this one.
You are a shaman, travelling from island to island to unite your people. You do that by improving their lives by building a variety of structures to provide them with food, wood etc., while also brewing potions to heal the sick, scare away sharks, lay ghosts to rest and much more.
Most levels are untimed, though a few have a deadline (a storm or pirates are on the way). So far, I have had no trouble.
Navigating around the island took a bit of getting used to, but I quickly got the hang of it, especially when I discovered that you can also move around by sliding the cursor towards the edges. It's up to the player whether to see the island from above or from one particular side.
It also improved my enjoyment of the game when I found that I could change the resolution to a higher setting.
I found Shaman Odessey by accident, searching for another title and the game is an example of one of the many games that seem to lead an anonymous existence in the huge Big Fish pond - rarely among recommended or "you may also like" games. It deserves better, so give it a chance.

Typical TM game where you have to build different types of buildings and collect resources. The shaman has to look after his tribe, for instance when one gets sick, he has to make a healing potion. Simple graphics and sound that can be a little anoying - but I turn mine down. I would recommend this game, except for the fact that it has a right mouse button scroll for the current location, and I found it very difficult to get the hang of it. I am still trying. If I do, it will be an OK game, but I think it seriously impedes progress.

I've played many development and time management games on bigfish. This one was the worse. Don't bother.
