It passed the time I found this game too repetitive. It had great potential with the storyline, but if fell flat in my opinion. In this game, once you click to obtain an object it then brings a spiral of other objects you have to find and sometimes when you go to find those it brings another spiral of other objects. If they had added more variety I think it would have been a lot better. If you love just finding hidden object after hidden objects you'll like this game. November 24, 2012
How disappointing! Played previous game in this series and liked it but this one has too many HO pop-ups in each scene so becomes tedious. Will uninstall before hour's trial ends. May 10, 2012
I wouldn't play it again The plot seemed reasonable although a little far-fetched and fairy-tale like. Nichole and her side kick Igor must travel all over the globe in search of her father and on the way discover secrets that could effect the world. There were no voice overs just written dialogue and each chapter seemed to take forever to load. The music was passable without being great. The puzzles did not present a great deal of brain drain and were really quite straightforward. The hidden objects, however, was where I feel the game fell away dramatically. There were no standard type of listed things to find only scores of 'wagon wheel' type. A couple every so often would have been ok but when there were up to four fragmented h.o.s in each scene it made the game very tedious and boring. I found that to relieve the bordom I played it in stages having a big break between attempts. To me this game was tormentingly tedious, boring and lacked excitement. I recommend it but only just. WAY TOO SHORT An OK game, but way too short. The puzzles were easy. This is one of those HOG's where you have to find objects to pick up another object. It is not a fractured HOG, where you pick of pieces of items, so it is better. December 6, 2013
Tedious, very tedious I liked the story line, but progress was SO slow that I gave up far, far before the end. Every screen was filled with the pop up circles with objects to match. At least one circle on each set required the completion of one or two more before completing it. It's not a bad game, but just too slow and tedious for me. November 5, 2012
Boring, Annoying, Too Many Fragmented Objects I have never played a fragmented HOG before. I will likely never play one again either. This game was BORING! I played this game for about 20 minutes and had already had enough of it. Every time you click to find one object you need, you find you have to find 5 or more other objects before you can pick it up and then one or more of those five objects requires the same thing. So, basically it's like a constant "web" of find this to get that. Very daunting. No fun in my opinion. If you enjoy this type of thing then I saw buy it, otherwise avoid it or try it for an hour first. April 18, 2013
The Mystery of the Crystal Portal: Beyond the Horizon: Skip it! This is quite possibly the worst hidden object game I've ever downloaded -- and I've downloaded quite a few. It's clumsy, it's slow and it's booorrrring. I'd be happier if I were given my money back or given another game. This one isn't worth my money or my time. December 31, 2011
