Entertaining Hidden Object Game
A wonderful fairy tale with an interesting twist, very enjoyable.
The story is entertaining, with lovely graphics & a very helpful map, which helped eliminate the tediousness of backtracking. It is a fragmented hidden object game, so a bit more entertaining than the usual fair. Good Hint feature. The mini puzzles were interesting, & challenging at times. The game also has 2 modes for those that like a challenge.

Terrific Game!
I had a great time playing Love Chronicles: The Spell. There are fragmented objects to find and assemble, rather than a list of items to search through in a junk pile.
The graphics are beautiful, and perfect for the story. Colorful, bright, detailed drawings. The fairy tale story line is excellent, and you can move easily from place to place on the map. The music is low-key, and there are nice background noises. The length was good.
All in all, I really liked this game. I now wish I'd bought the Collector's Edition because I would like to play the extra quest.

Entertaining fairy tale
This is an enjoyable game. Not overly difficult, but can keep you entertained. The story line is good, graphics bright and beautiful. The puzzles are fairly easy, and there are no junkpile HO scenes.
You look for objects both whole and fragmented to complete different tasks usually in one area with some movement to different scenes and areas. I think this is a good beginner game with enough challenge for the more advanced player who just wants something that is fun and relaxing.
Overall it is fun to play and easy to follow.
I recommend this game.

Fun fairytale game
Long enough and fun enough to be worth buying, even the collector's edition! Especially if you like the lighter titles.
I thought the characters and puzzles were fun, and there were a few challenges that weren't so obvious.
It's one of the type of search games though where you look for pieces of an item that is pictured and broken up at the bottom of your screen. Sometimes I enjoy those, but not always. I usually prefer the more traditional search games where you're looking for listed items instead of fragmented images.

A Lovely Game
I loved playing this game. The story was great. The graphics bright and quite clear and the atmosphere (music, surroundings) really enchanting.
Also, I loved the fact that it wasn't all that challenging and it helped you a lot with what to do next. (Just my personal opinion though)

Love Chronicles: The Spell - A Lovely Hidden Objects Game
Story: A prince from a far away kingdom has everything he could dream of but every night he experiences these horrible dreams about a cursed kingdom, an evil witch, a beautiful princess, and a wise man begging for help. With these nightmares haunting him, the prince travels until he comes upon that cursed kingdom. There is only one person awake, an old wise man, and he seeks your help in destroying this curse before it's too late. So, the prince travels throughout the kingdom and waking every person up before this curse claims them all forever.
Graphics: I thought the graphics were very clear and beautiful. I have to admit that I would want to live in that kingdom...well....after the spell was gone obviously.
Music: The music used in this game was nice and really contributed to the beautiful kingdom.
Puzzles/HOS: This game offers two different modes: Regular and Expert so this gives you a choice of how your game plays out. The HOS were a little different than the usual. You look for parts of items that you will use instead of a few random items and items you need. Now, I personally like this option but if you don't, I wouldn't recommend playing this game. There were fewer puzzles then I would have liked and they were mostly on the easier side so I wouldn't recommend this game if you were looking for a challenge. One thing I did like was that the game gave you a magnifying glass so this could benefit for smaller objects that are hard to see even though there are few of those.
Length: Sadly, this game was short, not even getting to 2 hours.
Overall: I really liked the game and it had a classic story but obviously it could have been better. If you are looking for a game where you save a kingdom and isn't too difficult, this is your game.
Happy Gaming :)

A bit Tedious
Okay game. Just becomes tedious after a while. Thank goodness for the easy travel between scenes. So much back and forth. Hint used regularly. Cute story line and pretty good graphics. Glad I got it on a daily special and not full price.

Valentine's Day Special, That Was! :-)
This was a delightful game to play, engaging and kept my interest all the way through. I found I didn't wish to stop. The mini games were fun and challenging enough to bring you in, but not so difficult that you throw your hands up in defeat and hit the "skip" button.
I was very grateful for the map integration user-friendliness. It sure beat making you have to: walk back a gazillion number of clicks, then go right or left another dizzying number of clicks to navigate through the game. The "map-jumping" feature allowed me to devote more time to the gameplay and enjoy the storyline.
Unfortunately, though I finished the game, successfully meeting all the challenges, I was cheated out of the big "pay off" and I don't know if it was a glitch with my computer or a problem with the game - but I really missed not seeing/hearing/ experiencing the epic ending.
Loved the game enough to download the other one in the series: Love Chronicles: The Sword and the Rose

Disappointed
this was not like other hidden object games. True, I enjoyed the story without a lot of evil, etc. But this wasn't where you could click on items and save them until needed. Nothing worked unless it was time to collect them. And often instead of trying to find them on your own - you have to move your cursor around to find an area that turns bluish, you click, site shows and there is the item you need. Not much hidden in this game.
-- Beautiful scenes and Nice story but was just disappointed because there wasn't much of a challenge and I'm the gamer who does Always plays the easy or normal mode with unlimited Hints, etc.

Not exactly a Hidden Object Game...
...but not bad at all. I have thought about how I could describe it, because, but couldn't come up with any existing genre in which I'd like to add it to. Never played anything I could compare it with it either, so all I could up with is it's kind of
WEIRD :-) and ENJOYABLE :-)
Graphics are a bit like the artwork you can find in children fairy tale books. Very colourful and pretty. The storyline is about a prince on a quest to lift a sleeping spell from a kingdom. So nothing scary and haunting.
No HO scenes like we're used to, but sort of FROG scenes, but not proper FROG scenes either. You have to find broken items. E.g: Three pieces to fix back together to make a set of pliers.
The game play I found quite awkward at the beginning, but I got into it after the first two locations. I would recommend this game to somebody who wants to spend some relaxing time playing a game. This would also be an ideal game for children to either play alone or together (providing kiddo can read). So so sad the game doesn't have any voice overs. If it had it would be so much better.
Definitely do the one hour trial before any purchase as this game is not everybody's kettle of fish.
