Cute game! You have to free people from spells and help free the princess. I played in expert mode. - The graphics are very clear. - There are not really HOS, but objects scattered in a location as well as some fragmented objects. They are easy to find. You can also see when you have to go to another location. - The puzzles are also very easy. - The journal is essential since it shows you the various locations. Clicking on the graphic brings you to that location. - There is an interactive map. - You must also find 65 maple leaves. All in all, it's a very easy, entertaining game, good for beginners or for those who need a break from dark, creepy games. It took me about 2 1/2 hours to finish. August 13, 2012
Lovely fairytale Storyline, graphics are really very nice. Game very pleasant to play and there is a happy end as I like. April 13, 2012
If You Enjoy HOG Especially Finding Pieces Go For It This game is sooo Not for me... I dont like HOGs and HOS that much.. I really dislike finding pieces.. with a couple of exceptions.. Oddly Enough and Treasures of Mystery Island Ghost Ship come to mind... but this is more like a childs game to me.. One of my family members loves this series... so to each his own... I found the game dreadful... and the second one Even More dreadful... January 14, 2013
Cool game for a rainy day Quite interesting story with nicely done graphics and characters. Music contributed well to the whole thing as well as the sounds in the background. There are 2 modes of play : regular and expert I enjoyed playing hidden object scenes- in this case fragmented object scenes and also you have some locations with scattered objects that must be found. Puzzles were on the easy side, but my opinion is that they were also very entertaining and fun to solve. Over all, good game, relaxing, definitely try it out! May 17, 2013
Couldn't Finish So helpful to have the the magnifying glass as some items to find were very small. Liked that you could jump directly to the area to search for specific items. Did not appreciate that the game did not complete and therefore did not attain the bonus chapter. Another player reported on this glitch as well. That being the case, I recommend the SE instead of spending the extra money on the CE and not getting the bonus. October 12, 2012
One of the best I was unable to find fault with anything. A refreshing and very different HO game making this one of the most interesting. This game is not for people who prefer the more boring HO games namely finding objects by name, as there aren't any!! Would recommend this game at all levels. June 11, 2012
Just OK, too drawn out This game was OK. Graphics and music were bright and pretty. The sound effects were very repetitive and annoying. The story was not that original. The tasks were very boring and drawn out and just when you thought you were done, you had some other dumb thing to go get for someone. "You can't make a wheelbarrow until you bring me 5 buttons." "You can't open the window without a sack of potatoes and a party dress." I'm not exaggerating that much; one of the most drawn-out tasks is getting the ingredients and baking a cake for the king to wake him up from a spell. I got very impatient towards the end and just wanted it to be done already. There was way too much going back and forth for my taste, but on the positive side, you could do that by just clicking on an item or on the map. One detail I did really dislike was where in order to distract a dog, you have to put a cat in a bag and then have the dog chase it. A cat in a bag? Really? I know the game is supposed to be sort of medieval in setting, but I prefer the game's lighter tone, not medieval cruelty. I found that part really off-putting, especially in contrast to another bit where you politely trade nuts with a squirrel. Overall, the game isn't terrible but I wouldn't go so far as to say I recommend it. June 6, 2012
Not exactly a Hidden Object Game... ...but not bad at all. I have thought about how I could describe it, because, but couldn't come up with any existing genre in which I'd like to add it to. Never played anything I could compare it with it either, so all I could up with is it's kind of WEIRD :-) and ENJOYABLE :-) Graphics are a bit like the artwork you can find in children fairy tale books. Very colourful and pretty. The storyline is about a prince on a quest to lift a sleeping spell from a kingdom. So nothing scary and haunting. No HO scenes like we're used to, but sort of FROG scenes, but not proper FROG scenes either. You have to find broken items. E.g: Three pieces to fix back together to make a set of pliers. The game play I found quite awkward at the beginning, but I got into it after the first two locations. I would recommend this game to somebody who wants to spend some relaxing time playing a game. This would also be an ideal game for children to either play alone or together (providing kiddo can read). So so sad the game doesn't have any voice overs. If it had it would be so much better. Definitely do the one hour trial before any purchase as this game is not everybody's kettle of fish. May 6, 2012
Hummm... I bought this game without trying it because I had a credit to use and it was about to expire. The graphics are good but the directional arrow, grab hand etc. are in a circle that moves around which I found very annoying. The music sounds like a cheesy adventure movie but of course that can be turned down. I played about 10 minutes and will probably not go any further. April 29, 2012
Typical "good deed" style game, but still fun This game is a classic "Oh, I have that item you need, do something for me and I'll give it to you". Personally, I don't like those. The art was nice for me, and the music pretty, but the fact that there was no voice acting bothered me slightly. I'll let the facts speak for themselves: Scary? No Good for kids? Yes Guide required? Yes, looked up a walkthrough and relied on it occasionally Buy? No, get it as a free punch card game or a daily deal Last line: nice art, decent game, not going to be a favorite March 30, 2012
