Blood Oath 4.1 5 25 25
Starts out interesting, but quickly becomes repetitive The game storyline started out fun, and I was hoping that the game would be equally entertaining. Unfortunately, it quickly becomes repetitive as you jump from room to room trying to find pieces of a HO. This repetition takes away from the storyline. Luckily there is a decent Hint command, because some of the HO's are very difficult to see, especially ones that are not to the proper scale with the surrounding items. The Hint command does not always work correctly, but it is good enough to keep you moving forward in the story. This is not one of the games that I would play more than once. November 15, 2012
I'm Taking a Blood Oath Not To Play This Again Adventure/HOG. Game started out okay, but had to keep repeatedly backtracking trying to figure out what they wanted done next. Hint system was not helpful in all cases. Many of the items to find were very archaic or "wassat". This was my second play over a few months. Just wanted the game to end by the time I was halfway through. Some of the items were hidden too well. My overall rating was a 3.0. December 23, 2011
HOs Not My Style Tried to play this game 3 times to give it a fair chance but couldn't take anymore. Don't like silhouette HOs, items were difficult to find and had to jump from scene to scene even with a map. Too many instructions for achievements which never did interest me. Characters were cartoonish with no VOs. Not an enjoyable game and a waste of money. June 14, 2012
Exausting gameplay The game looked good from the demo, so I bought it but boy! what a huge disappolinted it appeared to be! You're running, flying, crawling etc. around all the time to pick up items in a number of junkpiled locations. In fact, this is a pure H0G rather oldfashioned style. The only 'adventurous' about it is that you see characters pop up now and then to carry the story a bit further. I got bored very fast, but since I'd bought it I played it through 'till the end. But a tedious experience it was and if there's a sequel coming on some time in the future it better be improved, meaning no running around like mad and only picking up items in junkpiley home and garden locations. Didn't care for it. I bought this game but decided not to finish it. In fact, I didn't play very much of it. It was all hidden objects, and some of them were tiny and scattered about in different rooms. It was tedious and boring for me. November 6, 2014
