Just OK, nothing more.
This game seemed to drag on and on. The scenes repeated and this made it quite boring. The mini-games were equally as repetitive and boring. I endured it and was not sad to see it end.

Classic HOG, but cute Greek Mythology Storyline
Even being a classic HOG, I enjoyed it (and purchased it) because I really like mythology, and the storyline is charming, takes place in ancient Greece, and characters are the Greek gods: Athena, Zeus, Hermes, Hephaestus, etc.
The biggest difference between this and the other classical HOG is: Gift of Zeus provides a captivating tale based on Greek mythology, with a sequence, ie, scenes are not "thrown" with no connection.
Graphics are very well done, cute ambience, colorful and crisp scenes.
Not challenging, but very pleasant.

Ancient Adventures-Gift of Zeus
Hello again,
Well this game was really fun to play. The hidden object are not obvious to find which makes it interesting. The puzzle games are real easy and fun. It is a challenging game and it is fun to play to the end of course which I did. But I will go back and play it again because it was a great game!

Good interesting game
This game although not startling did hold my interest all the way through. The graphics tended to be a bit "cartoonish" but were authentic and were drawn well enough to make out the objects. The music was a tad tedious at times but the added background sounds like waves, birds and crowds in a market place did manage to add a distracting element away from the music. The dialogue, which was all reading did waffle on a bit but once again I suppose necessary for the game. The hidden objects were of two types, the listed objects were reasonably easy to find and some needed extra work to eliminate the items in blue, but the shadow type presented a little more of a challenge, all in all quite entertaining. The puzzles and mini games were quite easy to very medium in complexity but all enjoyable.
This game, once again was not one of the best but still worth the money to buy and a worthy addition to a collection.

"Greek Mythology"
Cute game, but repetitive and scenes do recur. Mini puzzles and graphics are charming. Your next expedition, possibly wil be Greece, searching for the 'Fantastic Gift of Zeus'.

Beautifully Crafted!! Everything in this Game and Then Some!!
This is one of those "HOG Gems" I recently discovered while searching through BFG games. Truly enjoyed the hand-drawn artwork, bright and colorful and detailed enough to pick out items without squinting or needing a magnifier. Objects were also appropriate to the game's theme.
Pleasantly surprised with fun, challenging puzzles that I first thought would be too easy. As the old saying goes, "You can't judge a book by it's cover" which I first did while looking at the cartoonish intro picture. HO scenes have a good variety as well wherein gems are collected and combining items.
The storyline involves Greek Gods and a Journal with Greek Mythology facts are unlocked as you progress. Such a bright and "off the beaten track" of other HOG's, that I purchased this game within the first thirty minutes of demo play.
Enjoy! -Mama Mia-

Just OK
I liked the different HO screens - a mix of shadowed HOs and list HOs. The game does tend to drag on but it would be a wonderful game if you are at a beginner to intermediate level for Hidden Object games.

SIMPLE HIDE/SEEK/PUZZLE GAME
this game was okay. It was not difficult.

A Pleasent game to play
This game is fun to play. Cartoonish style makes it unusually fun. Make sure you get 2 pink gems each scene, to count towards your hints. I chose to turn the music option down somewhat, but it matched the game well.
game on gamers....

Really cute, classic, solid HOG
In this HOG, you play Hermes and his mother, who are searching for magic pearls to re-assemble a necklace for a dying goddess. You roam around a Greek island and beyond looking for what you need, encountering puzzles and a variety of tableaux.
The graphics all have a hand-drawn look that is slightly cartoonish but also easy on the eyes. The objects you have to find are generally thematic to Ancient Greece, and they're usually drawn well enough that you won't be guessing where stuff is. On each HO screen, there are also lavender gemstones which, as they're collected, give you perks while playing (like making the hints replenish faster). Some of the screens are hidden-object; some lists are silhouettes rather than words/names; some are "spot the differences" split-screens. The mini-games are usually really interesting and take a variety of forms from match-3 to assemble-jigsaws and the like. You get a slew of different "rooms" to search, pick which one you'll do next on a map, finish one set, and move on to the next. As you progress, as well, an encyclopedia fills up with information about Greek history and mythology. All told, the game takes several hours and I think it has replay value as I've played it a couple of times through.
I don't have much negative stuff to say about this game. I think the art style would have been more effective in a more realistic, less cartoony style, and the screens can get repetitive. As HOGs go, though, this one is really solid and it focuses less on "adventure" than on straight HO screens and puzzles. It's become one of my favorites.
I really liked this game and recommend it to people who prefer a more classical feel to their HOGs. The storyline is fairly light-hearted, the graphics are cute, and the challenge is good for an intermediate or more casual HOG enthusiast, especially one who is into Greek mythology or maybe wants to learn a little about it.
