Escape Whisper Valley
This was one of the first games I bought in the HO genre and found it a very good introduction. The scenarios are of a straightforward "find something on the list" type and the in between puzzles are of the jigsaw or match three type. Each section played gives you part of a clue to the final solution. I did find some parts difficult at the stage I played it first but for those of you who are newcomers remember to check and see if Bigfish has a blog walkthrough - they really are vey useful!

I love games with stunning visuals and this one has it! HO scenes are sometimes challenging, puzzles too. I dont care for the fragment hunts but I can live with this as this game was just too exciting to pass up! Well worth the money and time to get caught up in the story and game!

This is a great game
I downloaded this game after reading the other reviews. I throughly enjoy this game. It is what it should be, hidden object and mini games. no long drawn out stories that you almost have to have a stragety guide to finish. This game is fun, and addicting. Love it keep up the good work Big Fish.

This game deserves more than a whisper
You are trapped in an abandoned mountain village by a rock slide and you must find pieces of a puzzle map that will lead you out of whisper valley. If you do not like pure hidden object games then this game is not for you. I thoroughly enjoyed it and found it very addictive, I could hardly leave it - wanting to know where it is all leading, and what the big escape whould be at the end. There was very little dialogue only just to explain what is required in each puzzle. The graphics were just a tad darkish in some places but otherwise quite good and clear. The puzzles consisted mainly of rotating pieces to form a completed picture, jigsaw puzzles, find a word and shuffle puzzles all of which were quite easy and did not present much of a problem. The hidden objects of which there were over 2000 were fairly easy to find and I was able to find three and four items at once to acquire speed bonus points which as the game progressed was more of an obsession to try and achieve. You were also awarded 25,000 points for not using hints, which I also managed to do very often. After each chapter, of which there were 25 you were awarded a puzzle piece which led you to another puzzle to enable you to find your way out. My total score was well over 10,000,000 points so I was happy with that. Very addictive enthralling and competitave game which I feel was well worth my money.

Good game for something to do when you have a few minutes to kill.
A pretty straight forward hidden object game with very limited story and interaction. You do a few HOS then play a mini-game then more HOS, minigame, etc. Sometimes the objects were discovered by word association such as 'used to walk dogs' or 'eats cheese', etc. for dog lesh or rat or mouse. Puzzles to solve #minigames# were a mixture of jigsaw, match three, word search, create the picture by turning the pieces to correct orientation. You play 25 levels collecting pieces of a photo used in the final part of the game to discover a mine location that leads to leaving the valley. There are also scattered throughout the game locks and keys that when found are added to a total of 25 #they are not in every HOS# and this unlocks bonus match 3 games and unlimited hidden object search that can be played anytime.

Good as a coffee break game.
This game is like the Mystery P.I. games. You play a number of hidden object locations before having a puzzle to solve. The hidden object scenes seemed a little too dark /grayed for me, making it difficult to see some of the objects. The puzzles are easy to solve- a mixture of jigsaw puzzles, match three, word search. As you move through the 25 levels, you gain a piece of a photo which is used to bring the game to a conclusion. I don't think there really is a story to this game. However, it was an enjoyable game to play when I only had short periods of time to devote to game play... didn't have to worry about keeping track of things. One different aspect of this game is that you are not always told exactly what to look for, but are given a hint, e.g. you find this on an envelope, or used to measure length. Makes you do a bit more thinking before searching.
