Tame, but difficult to get through I was not a huge fan of this game. The story-line is so-so, there are no real hints (except for HOG). I was rather disappointed in some of the graphics. Overall I would not recommend this. May 18, 2013
GREAT GAME I just finished playing this game and loved it so much I looked for another one! It was definately a wonderful surprise. At the end of the game is "to be continued" and honestly I can't wait. Story line, graphics and voice overs are great. I am not a huge fan of the music, except for the last part and I loved it so much I wish I had the option to upload it. Yeah I'm a music fanatic LOL Worth the buy in my book. I absolutely love the game I must say, I'm a sucker for asian themed games (if I can describe them like that). The game has everything - interesting storyline, it's beautifully drawn, it's not like other games that are all about find the hidden objects until you fall asleep. It's challenging enough without being way too hard and I assume players will love that. April 28, 2013
Common malady This game suffers from an unfortunate malady common to so many BF games -- excessive cutesiness. But at least it wasn't cutesy-gothic, which is like having cotton candy for breakfast. As a game it was solid -- good controls, good length, fabulous graphics, and immersion in another culture (at least in the beginning) which I seem to crave. But it could have been so much more. When I look at that dark landscape before the game actually begins, I become wistful of what the game could have been if the writers had been on a more creative streak. Moody, atmospheric, mystical. (Just please, not gothic.) So, a chalenge to the game writers: please try again, and do it right. China, Japan, Thailand, India, any place that can evoke that mood. April 21, 2013
This is a great game! I love this peaceful, easy, exotic adventure game and I can't wait to find more like it! Everything ties together. It's really a delight to play! April 20, 2013
Wonderful!! The fact that this game was made by a Chinese company, made it full of Chinese details and with correct pronounciation of names in Chinese. I feel like I am in a kungfu movie, where we go through ancient Chinese villages and confront the emperor, which is awesome. There is no map, but it's not used if there is little backtracking. The HOG games are bit of piles but they're true to the orient so it was great! The cut scenes voice over is the only one that could be improved. There is this bass sound and the woman who narrates it, talk very fast. However other than this, I found this game flawless. So glad I bought this one! March 14, 2013
game had its ups and downs the story of the game was good but the music killed me the same tune played over and over again, after awhile i found myself playing the game faster so i hadn't have to listen to that tune anymore lol. but other than that i enjoy the game. February 3, 2013
Shaolin Mystery: Tale of the Jade Dragon Staff Good game. I am stuck with the crowbar and the blanket. Where to put the crowbar exactly? January 25, 2013
Awesome Hidden Object Game! This was a terrifically challenging game. The story line itself compelled me to keep going. I love the interactions with items that you need. Many things I needed I actually stumbled across by sheer accident, which made it that much more fun! If you like adventure, I highly recommend this game. Now to try the second one! September 27, 2012
I LOVE THIS GAME Played this on my sister's computer while visiting at her house. Now I just have to download it on my home computer. There's great movement between scenes in this game, but not so much it becomes burdensome. I love the graphics and story line. September 25, 2012
