Relax!
I love this series and own all of them because sometimes you just need a good relaxing game without the challenges. You can play and earn money to decorate as many aquariums as you can buy..or as many as you can stand if you get bored quickly..The graphics are fun and colorful and the fish you can buy are oh so cute...There are no challenges here, just good old fun stuff!

Design your own Christmas aquarium
Fishdom games allow you to design a virtual aquarium with fish, plants, various kinds of decor, food, and other essentials. In this version, you get to create your own Christmas-themed underwater world. That's the fun part.
To earn the money, you play lots of match 3 games. I love aquariums, but here's where Fishdom always loses me. Their matching icons are on the small side, which is less visually appealing and is just not as relaxing to play. Smaller icons are also more difficult for children to match. Also, the game gets repetitious after awhile because the matching icons don't change from level to level, and have little animation or character. With all the beautiful sea creatures, they come up with a blue crab on a blue background. Really?
The reward, if you stick it out, is an option to turn your beautiful virtual aquarium into a screensaver, which can make all the matching worthwhile.

An oldie but goodie for the holiday season
Since I'm playing this game for about the fourth time to get myself into the post-Halloween mindset, I thought I'd review it for those who are not familiar with it.
This is a "classic" match-3 in the sense that there are no fancy powerups. You earn bombs for large matches, and there is a final "lightning" bonus once you are down to the one or two tiles you just can't manage to break. You collect money and use it to decorate Christmas-themed aquariums. Except for a few Santas and sleighs, the theme is sufficiently neutral to provide fun for those who are not into the Christmas Holiday.
The game starts out rather easy, but gets fairly challenging by about level 60, such as presenting tiles that can only be broken with bombs. I only play untimed, and that is a very nice game mode. If you play the game more than once, you get to know which decorations you really like and can save up your money for them.
This is a nice relaxing game for this time of the year, and I recommend it for those who like match-3 games.

Change the scene
Thought it would have different scenes to decorate. You can only do so much to the same one. Thought it would have more levels instead of the same old ones. So much for winter.
