Great Game One of the best games I've played in a long time: great storyline, touches of humor, challenging and varied puzzles. Loved the lack of Hidden Object scenes. The pace was about perfect. The responses when using items or searching were unique and fun - a lot of work and forethought must have gone into them. The only thing I'd change at all is the controls. Sometimes, it was a minor pain to back out of a puzzle I didn't have the materials to complete yet. Truly that's an afterthought compared to the great quality of the game itself. November 15, 2011
Loved it ! This is a very addictive point and click adventure game. It has a very interesting storyline, that kept me want to keep playing, and equally interesting puzzles. The graphics are wonderful and immersive. It is a very atmospheric game that gives it an edge over many other adventure games out there! There are some puzzles that were too tricky and I did need to look at a walkthrough. Overall a fantastic purchase that gave me hours of pleasure! November 28, 2011
Great Mystery Hard, without being too challenging. Interesting throughout, with detailed scenes, involved characters, and a plot that keeps you wondering.. November 21, 2011
Amusing And Fun I enjoyed both the game play and the sly humor in this game. I played it without the tutorial and managed to figure out what I should be doing, so this should be an easy game for anyone to learn (I was a beginner to this type of games when I first played it). There is also a Walkthrough available on the Big Fish website that gives the solutions to the puzzles, if additional help is needed beyond the Hint button. I loved the parody of HOG games. I took the worm and held it up against the saw blade and the game's comment was "Sicko!". The comment that popped up when I clicked on one of the shrubs sounded like something Roger the Shrubber would have said in the movie, "Monty Python and the Holy Grail". I appreciate game developers who inject humor into their games; it personalizes the game and makes it more fun because you never know what you're going to be told next. When I got the game, I had a problem with a sluggish cursor, but since then Big Fish has issued an update to the game that has solved the problem, so that shouldn't be a concern for anyone anymore. Big Fish Games is normally very good about getting a game corrected if players are having a specific technical problem; its Game Manager program also has a setting that will auto-check for game updates for BF games you already own, which is very helpful if a new version of a game comes along (in one instance, a game developer issued an "extended version" of a standard game, and the game updater picked that up - something I would have missed unless I went back for some reason and checked that particular game's BF forum). Glad I got this game. December 17, 2011
Entertaining! I really liked the various puzzles in this one. My favorite was the sudoku/chain lock. There is a right amount of challenge in this game. I enjoyed the atmosphere/story and art enough to want a sequel. December 11, 2011
Excellent Game play. Very creative and enjoyable. Presented great challenge with unique puzzles and a great story line. Can't wait for the sequel. December 8, 2011
love it :D enjoyed it to the max!! best game out there.. by far my favorite! November 17, 2011
Enjoyable! I'd list this in the upper 25% of games enjoyability-wise. It's quite fun. Slightly creepy, I love dark stories. Also not the best art I've seen, but not the worst either by a long shot. The puzzles are half and half... some are quite easy, while a few are pretty hard. A bit of inconsistency in challenge level there I feel. I'd say it's worth a play. November 25, 2011
SLOW. I had originally installed this on my old computer and couldn't deal with how slow the game was running. When I got my brand spanking new, totally up-to-date computer, I figured I'd give this game another go. Still slow. I found on the forums that this was pretty typical of this game. I played it all the way through, but found myself getting very impatient. It's a shame, because otherwise it was a fun game. Creepy at times, too. If there is a sequel then hopefully they'll fix this deal-breaking bug. November 15, 2011
Pretty good adventure game This game is pretty good. First off, no HO scenes. The graphics are above standard and the storyline is good. The cutscenes aren't very good at all and the character amatuerish. I didn't notice any music or sound effects. No voice overs and the camera is basically your notebook. No map is needed as the game is fairly linear. The puzzles are fair, and all easily doable. There is no mode option, and I didn't use the tutorial so can't comment there. I finished the game in less than my average time so it is not a lengthy play. Having said all that it is still a pretty good game for beginner or even intermediates. For the experienced player, I would consider this a nice filler game. January 19, 2012
