Mystery Legends: The Phantom of the Opera Collector's Edition
Phantom Phans will enjoy
This is a quality game that I throughly enjoyed. It is perfect for Phantom Phans like me and there are many references to the musical, movie and book to pick up on.
The scenery was beautiful and the music was well placed and easy to listen to, certainly added to the atmosphere.
For those who ask about the black roses however, this is my opinion. In the movie version, the Phantom always leaves Christine with a single black rose tied with a black ribbon after every performance. So now I think he wants her to do the same so she shows her affection.
-Beautiful secenery and locations inside and outside the opera house
-Ability to set you a bit on edge and makes you jump
-Music and voiceovers were lovely
-Many references for Phans to enjoy!
-Isn't too hard, just a nice crusing game, but there are some things you do have to think about. (however I finished it in 3 hours on my first try.)
-The ending of the game. I have the CE, and none of it wraps up the story, so i'm hoping there will be a sequel to tie it all together.
-A bit of backtracking, but I didn't mind it as much as I normally would because of all the secenery.
All in all a beautiful game that I would recommend for a first time player or even an experienced player. Such a beautiful game, I hope there will be a sequel!

Hopefully there is a sequel on the way...
The graphics are gorgeous, and the music and sound effects are suitably creepy. Any fan of the original novel, or any of the film adaptations would probably enjoy this. The game took less than a day to complete. My only complaint is that the game ends on a MAJOR cliffhanger! I hope this means there will be a second game.

a great game for fans of the movie/musical/story
I already was in love with the story of Christine and the Phantom from the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical and so when I saw there was a game I immediately downloaded the trial version of the game. I was very impressed how the story takes place years later and how the Phantom mistakenly believes that Christine young daughter is Christine and you see how obsessed he is with her still. I immediately decide to purchase the game and was sorely disappointed when the game ended because the ending was unexpected but I loved playing the game from beginning until the very end. I would love to play it again if I could!

I Really Enjoy Phantom of The Opera
The overall game play was enjoyable, but the story lacks in detail to a degree. The art was very acceptable along with eerie music in the background. Being a Phantom of The Opera fan I was obviously attracted to this game and the limited edition version.
This interactive puzzle game is a good recreation of the French Opera house, and has a good number of colorfully creative rooms that build momentum and suspense. .
> puzzles where interesting
> layouts where magnificent
*Not so Good*
> The story is sorta vague
> along with a disappointing ending, which by no means gave a clear conclusion. I won't say what... but I was really just disheartened by the uncertainty at the end.
I would defiantly advise a person who enjoys eerie hidden object games to play this whether there a phantom 'phan' or just plain interested in the game.

In a word, great! The game has great locations, the music keeps climate. I can only attach to the story, but compared to other games of this kind, it is great. Mini games Interestingly, HO straining. I recommend

One of the Best
Loved this game. The story is well known which adds to the interest. It needs careful thought in parts to work out where to go next and you need a good memory to remember where you have been. But there is hours of play here and I couldn't stop once I started in all the rooms.

Stunning music, plot and graphics
Phantom of the Opera is a beautiful storyline that gives fun challenges and wonderful artwork. This is by far my favorite game. Although the ending didn't feel complete. I would love to have a second part to the game.

One of greatest games, but lacks an actallual ending
Overall the story line is great, the puzzles and hidden objects were excellent, the music and soud effects are awesome, but there is no ending. There is just a chiffhanger, nothing to tell you what happens between the phantom and evelyn. And what about Chirstine and Roaul? Are they going to get their chid back or not? There should be a suequl to tell us what is to become of them. Will Evelyn love the phantom willingly or will he force her too? There has to be a seuqul to finish the story! Please have one made!

A Truly Beautiful Game
So many scenes in the Opera House, and the graphics are so lovely that I am truly drawn in to these opulent rooms, snow drifting in through broken windows, drifts piled high against outbuildings. Shivers! Moving from room to room, down long corridors ending in magnificently carved doors leading into still more corridors and empty rooms, you can just feel what it must have been like when there were people laughing and dancing and dining. I loved this game! Worth the money.
