Extended play was a quick 5 minutes Great game lots of areas for a solid adventure. Some of the HO piles were a bit messy. The bonus extended play was lame, short and easy not worth the extra money unless you really want the game strategy but you can get around easily with just the map, hint and journal. March 7, 2012
More Frustating than Fun The reasons behind my less than mediocre review are: - Map shows activated areas but doesn't let the player jump scenes. - Any true Phantom fans will be disappointed because the creative liberties taken in this one hardly match the story we love. - Puzzles are not challenging, but annoying and the skip penalty is 30 minutes to your playing time. The pros: - Beautiful imagery - Various levels which make the player curious about where they will end up next. As always try before you buy. May 28, 2012
Beautiful looking game, but unpleasant and not fun gameplay. So, so sad. I really wanted to like this game. It looked really beautiful, eerie and had great reviews, but, unfortunately, I didn't enjoy it. Although the presentation is quite beautiful, the game wasn't fun for me to play. And when that happens, the game becomes irritating to play, just like "Mystery Legends: Phantom of the Opera"". The hidden objects scenes were very hard to finish since I couldn't discern anything in all that junk. It was so, so infuriating... Then the random clicking penalty. Since I couldn't find the objects I was looking for, I had to click in everything, but the screen was always freezing with the penalty! Rrrrr... I could not spot the objects (since it was pratically impossible) and I could only random click (oops, couldn't, again) or use hints. I like to take it easy and relax with these games, but that was impossible to achieve with this one. This completely destroyed the game for me. The main character remarks were so, so annoying... I wish she would just shut it. Not pleasant at all. The reedemable qualities it had was the artwork and the ambient. Very luxurious and breathtaking, really. Overall, I didn't finished the game. Not being able to find the objects; the click penalty and the main character remarks really pushed me off. This game was very irritating for me to play. A pain in the head. I should have expected this. The sequel to this series, "Mystery Legends: "Beauty and the Beast" had the exact same problems and I also hated it. But I will recommend it because most people will like, if not, love it. I'm sure of it. I didn't though. May 28, 2013
Need a Half Star 3 and 1/2 stars in spite of all the problems I had with this game. First the HO's had hard to find objects cause of size and coloring. Next no jump map and at times I was clueless as to where I should go so it would cause a lot of wondering about back and forth without a jump map it can be UN-nerving. The cut scenes were awesome, but the fathom repeated a lot what he already said and that was a bit of a drag. Puzzles were good. Lots to explore. Graphics of locations very good. Character good and most cut scenes good. I would probably buy this on a rainy day just because no jump map and not enough to lead me into the right direction. January 5, 2015
Awful game clues no help, going round in circles, stopped playing was so boring. February 4, 2013
