Cute Game!! I personally like this game. I thought the game play was fun. I won't say what the game is about as it's best to play to find out for yourself, a somewhat typical time management game. I enjoyed having a time management game that you still to make good time but not necessarily crazy, I recommend this game October 6, 2015
Sweetest Thing Another great strategy game to play and that is food for thought October 6, 2015
Sweet Little Game If you like games like My Kingdom for the Princess, you will like this game. You gather resources that are blocking the road to build or repair buildings. The only difference is that this is all candy, jelly, etc., in a fantasy setting. It looks like a child's game, but it is not. It takes strategy to figure out which things to collect first and which buildings to fix first in order to win each level. I recommend it. It is challenging and fun. :) October 6, 2015
Fun Build- it Game. Sweetest Thing was really cute, as you would expect with anything related to Candyland. Enough challenge to be worth playing. I really enjoyed the cute workers and their little remarks, Nice music. I was disappointed that it was so short. There are special candies to be found in each level and I was hoping there would be and extra island or something as a reward for finding all the special candies. But it was a fun game and I enjoyed it. October 19, 2015
Good game for the unpicky player. I like the game. I did not notice a lot of the problems that others did since I don't read much of the stories. It is fun and challenging. I cam here because I was not able to find some of the "hidden" treats. Given that TM games are in short supply. I say, if you like this genre give it a try and forget the story. October 7, 2015
Quite good This one isnt for kids even if it looks like that. Although its isnt that hard. I had to replay some levels to get the 3 star. Maybe great for someone who isnt familiar with these kind of game. I bought it as a daily deal and thats why I give it 4 stars... Otherwise maybe a 3 star because for gamers who are used to this kind of games its not really challenging. September 29, 2016
Sweet Concept I really enjoyed this candy land themed Time Management game, for a while, then it just got kinda boring. This is one of those games where if you don't select tasks in the correct order, you will be unable to progress any further and you'll have to restart the level over. For example, if you build the Jelly Factory before the Sugar Factory, you won't be able to repair the bridge because of the lack of sugar it requires to repair the bridge and you cannot go any further without repairing the bridge. You can choose to play this game in Normal mode, Multi-click mode (allows you to queue several available tasks) or an untimed mode. There are Achievements to earn, but from what I can tell, they are all achievements for earning a specific number of stars. The main character looks like a Willy Wonka knockoff, and at one point, his dialog box was blank, so I had no idea what that was about. This biggest problem with this candy themed game is that all of the buildings look the same, you can't really tell the difference between the Jelly factory (which produces sugar cube shaped jelly?), the Sugar factory (produces sugar cubes) and the Chocolate factory (which produces candy canes??) Each level is littered with what seems like hundreds of pieces of candy which is awe inspiring the first couple of levels, then seems mundane and repetitive. There is a bonus bar at the bottom that fills up to allow the use of different bonuses such as an extra worker, a snowflake to freeze the timer for a short time, a boot that makes the workers work at a neck breaking pace or an icon that produces + 1 of a particular resource. My first thought was that this was a Time Management game that the kids could play. After playing several levels, many of which I had to restart because I put the cart before the candy horse, I don't think younger kids would get the concept, and older kids aren't going to be awe inspired by the abundance of sugary props. Maybe this was just designed to be an early Christmas game, but I think the sweet concept failed to impress any age group! October 6, 2015
Mmmm, okay. I can't decide about this game: Pros: It's a time management game for once! It's easy to understand how to play. It's fun-ish. It does have a little skill in that you have to think what to build first. Cons: The graphic colours are gawdy and look like a vivid eye-watering kids game. The characters have voices which sound like a cross-between Gollum on speed and Mr Bean. It's just another game to stop TM-enthusiasts thinking all BF do is HOG games. It is just a click-fest, really. Not as bad as soon, but still..... I did enjoy my free hour, but I haven't decided if I want it yet. I may get it when I get my "free" game token that I pay for every month. October 6, 2015
Quality testers missed bugs Relaxed mode only allows one character; second character just stands by the house and if you assign it work, that work never gets done and you need to start over. Some of the text balloons had no text. Needs more "fit and finish". October 25, 2015
Cute, but not without bugs I'm easy to please, when it comes to builder-type TM games, so I had fun with it. Cute graphics. The levels had hidden things to find, which is a nice extra. However, it's not without flaws. Most of the ones I found were minor, although there were enough of them that it got on my nerves a little. There are a lot of what I assume were translation errors (candy canes are called chocolate, candy cane mines are called jelly mines). Many text windows are completely empty, although if you don't care about the story, this probably won't bother you. I did not like the character voices, at all, but you can turn them off, so no big deal. It has an issue that's a bit of a pet peeve of mine- it's possible to get into a state where it is impossible to finish a level, at all. Overall, it's cute and mostly fun, if you like these kind of games. If they fix the bugs and polish it up, it'll be a decently solid game. I'll probably end up getting it, but I think I'll wait until I have a free-game coupon to use. November 18, 2015
