Rated 4 out of 5 by from hidden object good game but find it gets to hard

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Stop and Smell the Roses This might be a little old school but, I enjoy old school. I think this is one of those fun games that makes you remember the early tm games. I played through the trial and was a little disappointed when it ended. I will probably buy this game when they have a discount price because it is old school but I would definitely buy it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from More challenging after level 13 Slow start, but it gets more challenging after level 13 when second player appears. Would be better if there was a hot key to switch between players; as is, you have to find them and click them. Would also like to be able to cancel an action, but overall an okay TM game

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Just ok I love TM games but I didn't really enjoy this one. Clicking to move between different workers and having to choose a flower to produce each time was tedious not enjoyable. Not my favorite.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Could be better but at least it's not a creepy HOG I've been desperate for a new time management game that isn't a "gather resources, build buildings and defeat road obstacles" type, so I may be giving this one more stars than it's worth. It's a cute time management game, although the graphics are a little retro. Customers come in, you get their flower order, sometimes with a ribbon or a pot involved. The part I don't like about this is when you get a "helper", it actually makes the game more complicated as you have to remember to click between helpers to use them. Forget to click the right helper and you may mess up your current flower order. I found this a little frustrating so I'll be avoiding purchase on this game.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Average Time Management Game I played this game a few years ago on another site but while playing it again, I remembered my frustration and why I never purchased it. Garden Shop has cute characters and somewhat of a story line -- which is not all that important when it comes to time management games. Game play was fun until it came time to hire another employee who could help me. The problem was I had to remember to click on the employee so he/she could help but then I had to remember to click on my character so I could take over running to the other locations. This seemed to break my concentration and slow me down, so I finally stopped playing. Also, the patience level of the customers is very low, even early on in the game. I'm good at TM games but I prefer a gradual loss of customer impatience so I can get used to the mechanics of the game. Although Garden Shop is a 3 Star game at best, I still recommend you give it go.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Boring I'm a big TM fan and I usually play a game right thru the trial hour before making a decision either way, but I gotta say I abandoned this one halfway into the trial. I was totally bored for the first few levels, simple clicks from customer to gardener/wrapping table etc. and back to customer. Ok, a lot of games start off super-easy but this posed no challenge whatsoever, just a bunch of repetitive actions. Then an extra staff was introduced and it got a little more interesting, as you have to make sure the right person was selected to get your task done, but I just found it annoying. Particularly when sending the wrong staff to a customer, which holds up the order unless you have them move on first. Maybe it does get more engaging and in my half hour I didn't give it a chance? In any event, while I do really like the character faces, the rest of the graphics were boring, this game could have come out 10+ years ago for its look and feel. Not for the seasoned TM fan I don't think. Not enough to keep me interested. With so few TM games on offer, it's a shame this one is well below par :(

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not Much Fun The play is very slow and not very well thought out. There are no chain reactions and only one task can be done at a time. This makes for a very slow game. For a time management it wasn't much fun.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Unoriginal There is nothing new about this game, and not much to like about it. Gameplay is cumbersome: customers give their order, you click on the gardener and select the type of flower they want, then give it to the customer and pick up the money. You can't put in more than one order at a time, which really annoyed me. Graphics are OK, but I don't like characters with enormous starey eyes. I was bored after fifteen minutes and gave up playing.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Boring & monotonous This is an aggravating TM game. You're expected to fill flower orders, some of which involve potting or wrapping them. Not only can you do only one order at a time, but you also can't start a wrap or pot & set it aside for later so you can pick up another order. I don't know why the character can't seem to carry more than one object at a time, but that's not exactly practical or challenging. I've only played 6 levels of the demo, but I don't want to waste a credit to find out if this game gets better, because I'm betting it doesn't.
