Tibetan Quest: Beyond the World's End Collector's Edition 3.3 5 46 46
This is a 4.5 but I round up! I really enjoyed playing the demo of this one. I love the look of this game, and the challenge level is good if you play it on the hardest level. I liked the voice overs in this one (old school British) as well as the option to play mahjong in the HO sections. The puzzles are more fun than super challenging, but its nice to play one once in awhile where you don't have to swear at your pc! lol One thing I particularly liked is the collections area, which is a lovely scene in and of itself. I also like that you know in advance how many collectibles are in each chapter. If you like games with Chinese/Asian themes, give this one a try! My only complaint was that I would have liked a custom difficulty option. July 4, 2015
A Must Have for Me Just completed demo and have ordered full version. Visually stunning! Music is sort of new age and appropriate for game. I enjoyed it. The VOs are good except for the niece, Larisa. Coins to find and morphing objects. I love that some of the items in the HO scenes morph. You must select them as they morph into the item on the list. Map is good and interactive. I'm looking forward to finishing this game after I complete the one I'm currently playing. July 4, 2015
Tibetan Quest is a gorgeous game fun for all ages and player levels! Travel to India, full of incredible stories to tell in Tibetan Quest: Beyond the World's End! As Aunt Pearson You will come there not like a tourist ? one of your family members needs your help! Your niece Larisa started to work at India few years ago and she was so excited about its culture! About a month ago Larisa and her team were sent to the mountains of Tibet to provide some excavations. And now she?s gone missing, at least that?s what was written in the letter you received. So the time has come to prove that you care about your family and head to India, to the border of legendary Shangri-La, where excavations were started! You will have to save Larisa no matter what in this click and point Adventure Puzzle Hidden Object! Some of the Puzzles were quite difficult for me. The graphics of Tibetan Quest: The World's End is very bright and remarkable, it will bring needed aura together with the high-quality note. Beyond the World's End is gripping casual Puzzle / Adventure game with captivating colorful videosequence, harmonic sound design and zingy nimble setup suited for players of all ages and skill levels (from jeep to experienced). This sleeper has a few recital twists and also additional secret bounties and game levels, full of eye-catching issues. One narration twist of the adventure game is that it randomly morphs into another as you move across a whole lot of various fun placements. The bonus play allows you to continue your journey for Larisa, otherwise your left with a feeling that you played for 6 hours without truly finishing the game. I loved it! July 13, 2015
Loved it, a little different Just a quick review, I haven't finished the game yet, but I played for half an hour and bought it immediately! I'm only about a third of the way through but am very happy with my two for one special and a free game to boot! Way to go Big Fish! A little something different with the morph's I'm really enjoying the game play. It's not too hard, a nice paced relaxing game. Try for yourself, I don't think you will be disappointed. Happy Gaming July 4, 2015
Ask and you shall receive! Excellent game. Maybe one of the best so far. I will leave the game play for the others but I will say This game has beauty and collections ,lots of different kinds and has morphs in hos.And thank you for not turning the ho;s into mini games.different ho's . And when you finish puzzles it comes to life.First one was a tiger and second one was a bird I think. Try it you will love it.And yes I will be buying it.HAPPY FOURTH EVERYONE July 4, 2015
A Very Nice Change of Pace :) I Totally enjoyed the whole game :) and hope these developers make more games with different culture themes because for me it is a refreshing change weather they are historically accurate or not, just seeing different environments/cultures is a breath of fresh air :) The HOG scenes were fine, esp. with the morphing objects and the mini's were just fine also :) and the number of hogs and minis were in perfect proportion and I hope the developers don't cut down the number of them. Graphics, game-play,story-line and theme plus the occasional little animals poking their little heads out to see whats going on :) I am happy that I bought & played Tibetan Quest while it is still new (I have 20-30 unplayeds in my GM) and the different culture flavor was nice before getting back to the musty old castle dungeons again :) Played on desktop PC running Win. 7 / 64 bit with no problems. Fantastic Adventure I'm a bit surprised by the lukewarm reviews. I enjoyed the story, loved the graphics and the music. The morphing objects were an integral part of the hidden object scenes - you could not just skip them, which is different from any other game I have run into. There were a lot of hidden object scenes, but I like that. There were some hidden object, some silhouette and every now and then you had to move something or unlock something to uncover an object or use one item to find another - but not in every hidden object scene. The puzzles were not too difficult. Best of all, I got my money's worth. The game was not as short as some others I have purchased. There were collectables throughout the game. The map plus hint button was all I needed to figure out what to do next. I did not need to resort to the strategy guide once. I could just relax and enjoy playing the game. And I usually play just to relax after work. I hope to see more from this developer. July 6, 2015
PURE GENIUS! Fascinating and Lavish Oriental Theme! I mean, really? Negative reviews on this game boggle the mind when I've played horridly boring games here on BFG with the same reviewers giving glowing five star reviews over and over. Get a grip! Begin your journey to Lhasa in Tibet. Lovely music and a gong! A wild and imaginative adventure awaits! Can you imagine? Well, you don't have to imagine as adventure, puzzles, lush computer graphics and amazing artwork await gamers. If it's eye candy you want, it's eye candy you will get. If gamers tire of the hidden object, a mahjong match game is available! Yay! Two thumbs up and five stars! Enjoy! -Mama Mia- July 8, 2015
LADY PEARSON OFF TO TIBET TO RESCUE LARISA REVIEW OF COMPLETED GAME AND BONUS In the main story and bonus, you play Lady Pearson who makes a mad dash to Tibet to find and rescue her niece, Larisa. There is: * Voiceovers (with dialogue); * Regular, Advanced and Expert modes of play; * 20 Achievements; * Interactive map; * Journal; * Find 11 coins, 10 apples, 12 swords and 9 stars. The graphics are very bright and colourful but well defined and easy on the eye. Every scene is clear to see and I really enjoyed roaming around. Sound is good. The music is stunning and I had it on very loud the whole way through. Some music is orchestral and there are others where you will listen to Tibetan music with instruments like the dranyen, bells, etc. Very haunting and so beautiful. There are lots of interactive hidden object games with morphing objects which you will play twice. These are mainly straightforward and silhouette. I enjoyed doing these. Items are easy to see so it doesn't take too long with each HOP. If you don't fancy playing all HOPs then you can play Mahjong instead. There are a very good range of mini-games and I played them all. None are too hard or frustrating, however there is no hand-holding either. I managed to get all but two achievements. You get an achievement if you play the tutorial (but I never do as I don't think to) and you get an achievement if you get all the other achievements on the board (should have played the tutorial!). There are 11 coins, 10 apples, 12 swords and 9 stars to find throughout the game (not the bonus). Most of these were relatively easy to spot, but a few were elusive. All up the game and bonus took me about 7 hours to play on Expert mode and not skipping or hinting anything. I was disappointed when it finished as I still wanted to carry on. Definitely worth playing. I loved it. February 13, 2016
Beautiful adventure Gorgeous setting. Feels like an adventure rather than horror movie. Interesting weird characters. i didn't enjoy all the minigames but loved the chance to play mahjong instead of HOS. Lots of collectibles. Definitely will buy. July 14, 2015
