Sakura Day Mahjong Another great Mahjong game to play September 23, 2015
At Least The Graphics Are Beautiful Seen one Mahjong game seen em all, this game has nothing new to offer, but it is a pretty game. There are 6 Levels available and each level offers 20 different patterns, and you can choose from 3 different tiles. The objective is different for each game, every game requires you to remove all gold tiles and some require you to earn a specific amount of points, some require you to remove the gold tiles within a specific amount of moves, others have a specific time limit. The goal is to earn 3 keys for each level. Matching tiles quickly will cause the point index to go higher which gives you more coins. Collecting silver tiles will refill the shuffle feature and there is an icon that will shade the unavailable tiles to make it easier to spot matches. That's it in a nutshell, nothing new here, try the recent Lost Amulets if you want a mahjong game that's fun. September 22, 2015
A MEDIOCRE MAHJONG GAME AT BEST As far as mahjong games go, Sakura Mahjong is, IMHO, a mediocre game. It is more puzzle than traditional mahjong in that we have goals to meet on each level. Rather than the tiles being placed randomly, they are pre-set in order to be more puzzle-like. I happen to dislike the mahjong games where we have to remove the golden tiles from the board in order to win the level. I see this type of mahjong game frequently from this particular developer so there is nothing new, just the same old game with different music and backgrounds. Technically, the game does not fill my screen so I guess that these people don?t know how to offer a stretch or widescreen mode. The graphics are faded or washed out and then the music is so bad that I had to turn it off. There are so many better mahjong games on the market that this one is not a ?buy? for me. I love mahjong but my personal taste goes to the more traditional style and play. I have one mahjong game that cannot be beat for gameplay and graphics so I doubt I would waste my time on this one. Even though I don?t care for the game, as always, I recommend that you try the demo because you might really love it. September 22, 2015
the worst mahjong game yet! what is the point of making a game that you can't progress in without hitting a certain number? usually i love playing mahjong, but the criteria for continuing the game is just too hard for me to achieve. i have not been able to get more than 55 stars and 65 are needed to go on. this is ridiculous! who cares about stars???why is that even in the game??? i just want to go on with the different levels as i am over the top tired of the ones i have been able to do! i should also say that the game was quite boring. the only thing it had going for it was the possibility that it would get better...it didn't. i do not recommend this game.
