Punished Talents: Stolen Awards Collector's Edition is rated 3.6 out of 5 by 25.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Doctor is In A murderous lunatic is killing off ten scientists one by one, Agatha Christie-style. It's your job to help your colleagues, since you're a doctor and all, while you do your best to unravel clues to the murderer's identity. All this happens in an old castle / hotel that's cut off during a terrible storm. Although the graphics aren't world class (I had to laugh at the cutscene of the man skipping away from the astronomy area! He looked like he was playing hopscotch) I really enjoyed the medical shenanigans and real-time puzzles such as giving CPR and walking a tightrope. Plus, can you say morphing objects? There are great interactive HOS, and the settings are fun to explore. Although this won't make my Desert Island list, if you like medical mysteries don't overlook this little gem.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally after months a game I LOVED! I really really enjoyed the heck out of this game! I don't normally buy the CE but I had demoed this game months ago and couldn't wait for it to come out. When it finally did a few days later BF gave us members a sale I couldn't refuse, so lucky me I got this game with all the bells and whistles! It was a bit on the easier side which is something I like I want to play the games but I don't want to have to do to many short jerky movements because that kills my fibro. and I don't want to rack my brains out either. I liked the sciencey-ness of the game since I am a big science, math geek. I liked the flow of the game, I liked meeting new people and performing new tasks in different areas, instead of one long endless mindless find this put it here blah blah. The graphics were nice colors were perfect and normal not overdone like many of the newer games, the scenes were gorgeous with so much attention detail. I'm not a wordsmith so it's hard for me to fully put into words why I like or don't like a game. It's just a feeling you get when you start playing and you find you are just moving along and don't want to stop, because you realize you are really having a good time! That was this game for me! Now if they would just release the New York Mysteries game I beta tested months ago I'd be a real happy camper!! I highly recommend this game.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This game was fun, combining Science with a Murder Mystery!!! I thoroughly enjoyed the casual gameplay of Punished Talents 2: Stolen Awards. The story of this game immediately puts you in the 12-little-indians mode (at least in my imagination). You play as one of the scientists who gathered together to compete for one of the most honorable awards in the scientific world, Pride of Humanity. Things get more interesting when one of you gets ill and you get stuck in the castle cut off from the outside world. The castle is a great place for some HOPA fun. You will have to use all of the knowledge that you have to find the potential murderer. There is a bonus game where you get to catch a madman on a train (another great mini-plot). The game's characters are one of the essential parts of such stories. And these scientists are no disappointment. Some of them are more eccentric than other. The game features some real actors for their characters too with excellent voice acting. The graphics are your typical HOPA scenes with a lot of items hidden and scattered for you explore. Another fun part of the game is the profiles of some of the scientific inventions. You unlock those with the morphing objects. This is where entertainment meets education for adults and kids. The media extras, music, concept art, wallpaper, are yours at the end of the game. The game provides you with a strategy guide to make your way through the game and not miss anything. There are four modes to choose from: Casual, Advanced, Hardcore, and Custom. "I'm really enjoying Custom these days". The puzzles come in different shape and form as well as difficulty level. Most of them are science-themed and are not very hard. They seem to outnumber the hidden object scenes. The collectibles and the achievements add more challenge and allow you more time in the game. I finished this CE in a little over 5 hours and I recommend it for gamers of every level of play.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent hoodunit Love the mystery/hoodunit aspect. Not sure what game some of the other people played, but their critiques do not seem to match the game I played. If you like a murder mystery in a remote castle setting, definitely the game for you.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Interesting, but not CE worthy... Hi all! Well, this is #2 in this series, yes, I have the first. As always, I review on the game play and not much on the story, as others do a far better job than I in that department. The graphics in this game are excellent, very clear and clean. Colors are very true, no blues or pinks for a change. Game play was very good, with no problems during the demo and the scene fit my large screen very well. Voice overs are age and character appropriate and quite good as well, with excellent animation, i.e., mouth and eye movements. Music was soothing and did move with whatever was happening in the scene at the time. Sound FX are fairly well done and between this and the music, I found no "dead" spots of nothing but quiet. HOPs are well done, with a combination of interactive lists, silhouettes and morphing objects. The scenes are pretty clean and clear and items were not difficult to find. There seem to be quite a few in this game so far. I did not see that you could switch to something else if you didn't care for the HOPs. Puzzles were very simple, at least the few I ran across during the demo, and nothing new or exciting. Hint system is very helpful and it does transport you to longer locations. You don't really do that much back-tracking, but there is some. Naturally, you can use the jump map, but the transport automatically pops up when you can use it and I'm too lazy to open the map and jump. I was disappointed in the map set up, very bland, but it was okay and usable. One thing that was different, was if you have an inventory item that has multiple pieces to it, in most game you have to collect all pieces before you can use it. This game, you can place the pieces as you get them. Guess that's okay, but then I forget what I need to look for if it isn't sitting in my inventory...it's the little things I guess. The only collectibles I found are 25 "invention cards." These show different types of inventions, what it is and who invented it. Not sure what that has to do with the story yet, but maybe I'll find out. These cards are not all that easy to spot. They are hidden in some pretty dark areas and some are quite small. I think finding them is the challenge here. I was disappointed in the collectibles, it definitely needed something more. At first, I didn't think much of this game, thinking it was too simplistic. I found that the more I played, the more I got into the story. This is not a challenging game and as I said, the collectibles left a lot to be desired, but I liked it. Today must be one of those "no brainer" kind of days, when a simple game with a not bad story strikes my fancy. I think this game will appeal to a lot of people, especially on lazy days like today. Yes, I will get this game, although I don't feel it is CE worthy, due to the lack of nice collectibles. I may change my mind if a really good sale comes along. As always, try it for yourself and see what you think. We all have different tastes in games and you may not care for this one at all. Thanks for the reviews.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A solid game (based on demo) As an Agatha C fan, this was right up my alley. I thought the graphics were clear and the sound okay (that's not a huge thing for me, anyway). Nicely developed scenes but not a super thriller story line. HOAs were good and you could clearly see the objects without having to squint! Good pace. I would recommend for a player who wants a game to relax and enjoy.
