Monument Builders: Rushmore 3.1 5 19 19
A MONUMENTAL TASK IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE President Calvin Coolidge authorized the Mount Rushmore project and construction began on the mountainside of Mount Rushmore in 1927. John Gutzon Borglum was selected to sculpture the busts of four presidents in one of the most daring and dangerous projects of all time. President Coolidge and his entourage will be attending the inauguration, which will require yet another project, clearing the land and preparing for an appropriate stage for the President who made all this possible. I love the Monument Builders series which allows you to be the Project Manager of the biggest and most iconic monuments around the globe. As a PM, you are responsible for clearing roadways and repairing damaged roads that will allow the Mules to deliver the materials needed throughout the building sites. You must prioritize the construction of Factories, Grocery Stores supply revenu,Cake Shops provide food for the workers, and Cement Factories provide the building materials needed for construction. All supplies are stored in the Warehouse, this is where you'll order supplies needed as well as recruiting new workers. Monument Builders is a different kind of Time Management Game, if you need to repair a road, you'll need to click on the repair needed and then select the improvement icon, clicking on the Factory will allow you to order specific items needed such as Sculpting tools, Ropes and Pickaxes, then you'll have to select the Delivery option. This game is designed to replicate the duties of a Project Manager as you strive to meet your goals on time, and you can earn up to 3 Stars per level depending on the amount of time it takes you to achieve your goals, I will say that it's a lot harder than you'd think to earn the third star on the first try. The most interesting feature this series offers is that you will learn very interesting facts about whichever monument you're building whether you're building Big Ben, Alcatraz (my favorite) or Rushmore. This game makes learning history really fun, they should let students play these games for a unique way to learn while having fun! This is a fairly easy TM game and would be a great game to start out on if you've never played a TM game, but the game is just as fun if you're a pro. The goals are shown at the top of the screen as well as an inventory bar that displays the quantity of your supplies such as wood, cement, food and cement. Trees need cut to make room for construction sites, and dogs need fed to get them to move out of the way of progress, thieves need to be dealt with (by clicking on them rapidly) before they have a chance to steal valuable cement. As you progress, you will get bonuses to choose before the level starts, you can choose only one at a time to Tone up the workers, have Faster Production and my favorite, Automatic Delivery of all goods, otherwise you have to click on all carts to send them to their delivery destination, which eats up valuable time. You're in for a treat with this TM game, Enjoy April 19, 2016
Building Mt. Rushmore is Tricky Fun! What seems like a simple TM challenge is a very tricky exercise in construction. Not only do you have to provide food, wood, explosives, and workers, you also have to order items from the factor in order to build and improve shops, cake shops, and factories. I really enjoyed figuring out the challenges. I played the middle level, but I want to go back and try the toughest one. This is no slouch of a game, spoon-feeding you easy levels to get you started! Right from the beginning you have to figure out the best way to order your progress in order to clear your roads and make it possible to order the resources you need. I also enjoyed special challenges like clicking on robbers and feeding wolves. Plus, it's cool to have all those Model T's rolling around. Excellent, tricky game! April 19, 2016
Build Monument Rushmore I bought this game Tuesday and I finished playing today! Loved this game there were a few level that I got stuck on but I figured it out. Must play it's fun and challenging when need too! April 22, 2016
Good but Short Good story as usual with Monument Builders, but this one was much shorter and not much challenge. Though I did have to try several times to get the 3 stars on the last few levels. There's nothing new here, except there is no option to automatically send carts to the warehouse; you have to mouse over them. April 20, 2016
To short As always I love these games, it was good but way to short. you can still send wagons on their own by buying at the shop. potion for it. couple levels were a bit challenging but not hard. waiting for next stop 2 and the new gnome gardens 3 to get here. still would buy the game for a few hours of relaxation. April 30, 2016
Too short I like the Monument Builders series although they are a bit repetitive. This one however seemed a lot shorter than the others, I literally finished the whole thing in less than 3 hours, good job I bought it on a sale day April 20, 2016
Fun, but disappointing I love the Monument Builders series until this one. It's OK, but so much less than the previous ones! No bonuses, and the carts won't go on their own. I got fed up pretty early. I am sorry I bought it without trying it out first. Oh well. Goes to show that later versions are not necessarily better! April 23, 2016
Almost half as long as other Monument Builders This one felt really short. So I went back and looked at how many levels were on the previous Monument Builders games. The past ones all have 50 levels--this one has 30. This one is also missing things the past games had, like mini games, help from the "boss" guy, power ups you could buy with the stars you earned, etc. There were zero perks or rewards for getting 3 stars on levels. In other words, it is just like all the other Monument Builder games (which I love, hence the 3 stars), but without any extra effort, and almost half the amount of levels. A lazy effort to cash in on a popular game series, imho. April 23, 2016
SOOO short. I enjoy these games- there are not enough Time Management Games for me. And I enjoy learning the history bits as I go. ( It was annoying though to have to always touch the carts to make them move.) The game was over very quickly, far too quickly, even so. April 22, 2016
Again so there is another one with pretty much all the same stuff as the other monument builders. It is cute and a great story the game itself is awesome but I will not buy it - I've got bored already with the last 2 of them. But for some of you what have never played or only one or 2-- this one is better. you dont have to click on every little thing. But that is not enough to keep me playing it. I wish there would be more like my kingdom for the princess or northern tale --- with every new game there comes a new gameplay different homes to build different ghosts to chase etc. on the monument builders it is for me just to much one like the other with a different story no new buildings really no new things what feed the dogs or I dont know... nothing but the story is different. If there is different things and I missed it I apologize It took me 2 starts to even get myself to play it for half an hour and I am always always excited and can't wait to play these kind of games. But the last 2 I still bought but honestly never played to the end, they don't keep my interest. so I am not even buy that one. Like I said it is not the game itself it is me because it is way to alike the others in what you have to do. cut the trees feed the dogs same backround pretty much to me only the story changed and I don't really read them. I recommend this game only for newbies ;) April 20, 2016
