I Wasn't Expecting This Match 3 Game To Be So Entertaining I was pleasantly surprised to find that this Match 3 game had some unique features that made it so entertaining. You can choose from three modes of difficulty, Bronze is an easy mode with no timer and the hint and skip features recharge in 30 seconds. Silver is a medium difficulty mode that gives you times to complete each level in the 500's and the skip and hint recharges in 60 seconds. Gold is a hard level which gives you time to complete the level in the 300's, the hint feature recharges in 120 seconds and there is no skip feature available. There are Mini Games to play after a few levels such as a seek and find scene, tracing dotted lines with your mouse or preparing California rolls by following the recipe shown. Most of the levels are the typical Swap type Match 3, but occasionally, there is a Group type Match 3 where you click to remove groups of 3 or more tiles. The goal is to remove all Gold and Silver tiles by making matches on those cells, sections of the board are blocked until you make enough matches of an item to unlock that portion such as a keys that unlock chests or scissors to cut the grass that has grown on that section. If you make large matches or combo matches, you will receive a Bomb on the board that can be clicked on or included in a match to explode, destroying tiles surrounding it. There are Bonus icons to collect by simply clicking on them, when you earn enough to fill the meter, you can use them, such as Origami birds that will destroy tiles in a snowflake pattern or a Lucky cat that destroys tiles in a row. There are the usual obstructed tiles that have single locks or double locks that require a match of the same tile that is locked, or boxes that require matches adjacent to them to break the box. You will receive different flowers as you progress to fill you Herbarium collection, which gives you brief description of the flower and it's origin. I played the demo game on the Silver or medium difficulty, and I found that I had plenty of time left, so I plan on purchasing this game with a credit and then I'm going to try playing the game on the Gold or hardest level. I actually found this game to be relaxing, and the music and graphics are soothing and peaceful. This is the perfect game to play after work or a stressful day just to unwind and take your mind off all the chaos of the day, enjoy! June 20, 2016
A Japanese experience The name caught my attention -Spring in Japan,so I had to try it It is a story that starts with a travelling Journalist who receives a letter to join a mystery person, but that's all the story I saw in Demo. This game has match 3, HO, tasks to do, by collecting items eg shears to clip some grass, pens to write on parchment, keys for a locked chest, missing plants from the Herbarium & more. Also the usual cages, tiles to break, locked pieces etc The plants as they are found, appear in a big book - pretty graphics. There are Helpers such as Origami, Lanterns, cat charms etc that you simply click on to accumulate for assistance. Also Hint & shuffle Options to play are swap, group modes & 3 choices of difficulty I was so engrossed, I forgot about sound! I loved the variety in this game, so I am off to buy it June 20, 2016
Great Match 3 I love this game. Combines several different things. Match 3, Hidden Object, Puzzle to name a few. You fill your own power ups, and use them on that level or loose them and begin over on the next. Plenty of ways to fill the power ups. Pretty Scenery, cute story idea, enough change to be interesting, it's not just match match match, it's very different and I hope this company puts out more of this kind. I played it through completely in 2 sittings and will change the player to do it again. Even those who don't care for Match 3 games will enjoy this one, and those that do like them will Love this one. June 21, 2016
totally different type of match 3 This a different type of match 3 game much more interactions. You have to make foods from recipes. A little hog in there also. Nice game to play when you just want to relax and play June 21, 2016

Spring in Japan - Match & puzzles Nice graphics - fun to play & puzzles are very unusual. June 20, 2016
Really Fun! I have really enjoyed this match 3. It is fun and the graphics are nice. I don't really know what the story line is....I didn't pay attention. I have already played through it once on easy mode. Now I am going back through again on the next level of difficulty. It has some seek and find and other puzzles to keep it interesting. It has definitely given me hours of puzzle time! July 11, 2016
Beautiful Game There are four chapters with over 20 levels in each. Travel through Japan collecting keepsakes. Not only do you get to match very colorful icons, but you make sushi, find hidden objects, and find differences between two pictures. In later levels, the icons are moving and dropping down at a fast rate but you get to click on power-ups on each board. Be sure to use the power-ups on that board as they do not save. You also get bombs if you match five or more. There is also a book to collect flowers and the usual boards, stones, and fog. June 25, 2016
A promising match three for leisurely fun This match three game offers much more than the usual fare of just matching three or more of some random tile or gem. The game is peppered with mini games to break up the matching and these range from learning how to make traditional Japanese food to learning to write kanji. While the game won't make a chef or a fluent linguist out of anyone, it does offer a fun twist on the genre and feels much more immersive in the culture of Japan than other games in this genre. The game is beautiful to look at, boats lush sounds and music, and is an entertaining diversion which isn't too challenging for new players and offers different layers of difficult for those more versed in this type of game. The storyline is the only let-down in the this game: a tenuous travelogue which pops up now and then and feels tacked on. It is unnecessary as most players would be happy to play a few levels of a game such as this to simply pass the time, not for a riveting tale. I am enjoying this game enough to hope that there will be others in the series, either exploring different seasons or different cultures, and look forward to the next title. June 21, 2016
simple fun This game is fun to play, not too difficult. You get plenty of power-ups along the way. Not outstanding but enjoyable. June 24, 2016
