Dreampath: Curse of the Swamps is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 26.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Endless gorgeous scenes, especially of outdoors and summer... PLUSES -Bright, colorful nature. Perfect to restore balance to your nature-loving mind. In the winter I need games like this!!! Foxglove, bluebells, bees buzzing/whizzing by and a variety of sweet bird song. Landscapes often stretch toward a distant horizon. What a wonderful place...Many of the scenes are so beautiful! -Map proved invaluable! Especially since I played this game over a time-span of a few weeks. -A slow pace, if that's what you're looking for. -The sound was GREAT! -You can easily play this game over a number of days or weeks, without losing the sense of flow. MINUSES - a bit tedious at times, especially about a third into the game. During that lull, I could only play this sometimes for a few minutes at a time, until I was out of it . Persist, and you will be rewarded with more whimsical, ambient, relaxation. -Aimed at all audiences, and so sometimes the game is a bit dull and lacks depth for an adult playing it. However, if you're looking for peacefulness and not having to be stressed, it is also a plus! Regular number of HOPS. LOTS and LOTS of PUZZLES and minigames of a medium difficulty nature. Not big on characters -they are there just to explain the story. My favorite scene? Ahhh...the orchard and the house with the stream :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Has it ALL! I rarely review BFG games, but this one is really a winner. In every category--story, gameplay, graphics, ease of navigation, etc., it rates as excellent. What a joy to play. A great combination of puzzles, adventure and interesting hidden object game.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Game from Start to Finish This is one of the 1st non-collector games I've purchased that I was very positively impressed by. The game lasted a long time and had many different locations. The visuals were great and the story line was pretty good. Overall you'll get your money's worth with this game and have great fun playing it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Long live Princess Daniela. One of my favorites: highest quality and decent length. My rating is based on playing the entire SE. It meets all of my requirements, such as lovely locations, decent length, a huge range of minigames and HO’s and highest quality. I agree with other reviewer: this game is one of the best. - Story: Fairytale, you’re a princess and have to rescue your family from a curse. - Difficulty can be fully customized. Tutorial, sparkles, map issues, glitter, helping texts, penalty and hint / skip recharge. - Graphics/locations: brilliant. Lovely, fabulous, colorful and detailed. - Animation: excellent - Music / Voice-overs: fitting - Tools: you have an interactive map and sometimes your butterfly is going to help. - HO’s: Different types such as description, silhouettes. Slightly interactive. You can’t switch to another mode. - Mini games: there were a lot of different types, really nice done. Included some “push and pull games”, which are not my favorites. Mostly the games weren’t much difficult. - Adventure part: There were quite a lot of locations, which were available during the entire game and not done step by step but in loops. That makes it more interesting. To do’s were almost logical, thus playing w/o helping texts is not only possible but worthwhile. I played w/o hints and without using the map (but skipped 2 minigames I did not like) - Length: I needed about 5 hours for completing. Dislikes: none

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One of the best games I've played in awhile! This is by far one of the best games I've come across here in a really long time - it's nice and long, lots of scenes to visit - and every scene is beautiful to look at. The background ambient music was really nice - the voice overs weren't as annoying as some - the games and HOAs were just right to be relaxing - but still challenging at times. I'm really looking forward to playing more in this series and highly recommend this game.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A gem This game has everything I'm looking for. It's a long game with a nice solid plot where you have to use your brain to remember but a map to overcome the obstacle of the back and forth. Customizable game mode. Perfect and lovable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A solid, solid, solid, SOLID game. When I reviewed the CE of this game, I rated it at 4 stars, but on reflection, I wish I'd rated it 5, because this is one of the very few games I've played in the past year or so that seems truly worthy of it. I originally rated it at 4 because many of the mini-games aren't very challenging, but having played it several times now, I've found that the length of this game actually makes me glad that many of the puzzles aren't over-taxing, as I prefer to play games all in one sitting, & find that the flow of an overall game is disrupted by too many lengthy mini-games (that said, there are a few mini-games I still have to really think about, even after multiple times playing them, which is saying something). As far as the HO scenes are concerned, this dev is one of my favorites...they actually keep me looking forward to them right up through the end of the game, as opposed to eventually feeling like, "Oh glurg...another one." There is no such thing as "junk heaps" w/ this dev because they execute every HO scene w/ such care. The graphics in this game are so delightful that I actually find myself laughing out loud at times each time I play it; it's a very whimsical game, which could be off-putting for some, but I personally have no problem w/ it here, as it's very creative, as well. This dev definitely has their own style, & it's one I've enjoyed in both installments of this series (the first being Dreampath: The Two Kingdoms). These are the kind of games where you really need to just stop & look in practically every scene, multiple times, to take in everything that's going on, & even then, you may miss some things. I somehow ended-up w/ both the SE & CE of this one; must've got the SE w/ a coupon, & decided to buy the CE. If you decide to bust for the latter, you won't be disappointed, but either way, if you enjoy the fantasy genre, you're in for a very fun, fantastical adventure. Salud!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brilliant! I loved this game, the graphics were beautiful and the mini games had just the right amount of challenge. I played this game for longer than a lot of CE versions that I have bought, so if you prefer SE games then this is one for you, it is definitely one of my all time favourites.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent game! Colorful and fun to play Finally a game with beautiful colorful scenes and a storyline that doesn't involve ghosts, murder or blood. This game was so much fun to play. The storyline kept me engaged, the HO scenes were not the typical junk piles and they were mixed in with an equal amount of puzzles. There's a helpful jump map too. Difficulty of the puzzles ranged from easy to wanting to scream (very few of those, one was a light up all the boxes puzzle that I just could not get right). I think I could replay this game and enjoy it just as much as the first time. A good game for adventure players who enjoy puzzles.
