The Wisbey Mystery is rated 3.3 out of 5 by 38.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fast-paced & Entertaining! Game only seemed short because gamers didn't have to spend an inordinate amount of time wasting hours seeking items. Hidden object items were clear to locate and didn't impede gameplay. The flower puzzle was the most difficult. Items--and there were many--are found and utilized quickly. Lots of plus items to join together and find where they fit. Running about was part of the fun challenge as gamers are actually making progress. Liked the spooky feel and never once was bored. Purchased immediately and played straight through. The language barrier actually lent to the game's uniqueness and this veteran gamer totally enjoyed the fast pace minus the usual, unnecessary bells, whistles, morphing objects and collectibles. Plain good gaming. Thanks to the hard working developers for a job well done and BFG. My only recommendation would be to have the English language proof read before final release. Enjoy! -Mama Mia-

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I'm impressed I didn't expect that the game is like me so much. It looks like something easy but it's not. Story is complicated and intriguing. I liked it. Art very good. Of course it is not the CE. But the game isn't worse than those games. I got a great fun :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brava! Delightful Escapist Game! Although there are few HOG's, I don't recall minigames of the stupid and intrusive sort. Most of the puzzle is in figuring out where to go next and what to pick up and use. The storyline is plausible. The Russian accents are delightful and just right. On occasion, their translator fouls up. as when it calls a recipe a receipt. The Wisbey Mystery is a fine escapist game. I didn't even mind having to put together the stupid locks. I hope this company produces more. I don't want to say this is the only type of game I like, but I prefer this sort to minigame after minigame.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy going HOG :) Very nice clear "older" graphics. All objects you need are readily available and clearly marked. The story "believable" this is based on the demo and I definitely are going to get this game. Has a nice map which makes you able to go to the spot by clicking on the pictures..

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simply good fun, Hidden object game. Enjoy! Hello, This is my 1st rating on this game and on the Big Fish Website, Not that I don't love the games because I do. Anyways I like this game because it is simple and to the point but good. That map is really easy to follow and not all these bells and whistles everyone talks about. I never play the games for that reason I play just to be entertained and that's what I get is entertainment. I love the games. So enjoy this one it will be one of my favorites now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really enjoyed this game -Old house- Old furniture -Rain, and Good old fashioned realistic graphics PLUSES-You have items in your inventory WAY before you have to use them, which makes the game more interesting. -Many rooms to investigate. -Real items and furniture figure prominently. MINUSES - Didn't seem like a very long game. -Has a slight, but minor stretch on a widescreen computer. It's a relief to play a game, that seems to be made with a straightforward serious tone instead of having to play a game where you're almost starring "in a movie." Basically, most of the new games are so bling-bling and so easy, that anything different is often outstanding as far as I am concerned! I always like it when real items figure prominently in graphics, just because I like the way the look. The accents are refreshings. The gentle pace and feel of the game was enjoyable. GRAPHICS -Full screen fills the entire screen. It develops a mild stretched look, but nothing very noticeable. You also have windowed. Realistic style. HOPS - 5 straightforward wordlists. About 1 mistranslation per game. Most were like riddles, as in "oh, I can see why might think that was an appropriate word", but one was for "troll," and ended up being a fishing-lure. PUZZLES: No puzzle-puzzles. Just 2 or 3 easy mini-games. SOUNDS - Music and Sound. Music is totally separate. Sound carries all the effects and ambience. MAP: TRAVEL JOURNAL: ? I saw the notes fly of and go somewhere, so maybe there was one. DIFFICULTY SETTINGS - 2 NOT interchangeable HINT: Guides and leads you, but takes longer in Expert. Also sometimes there was no hint at all in Expert (all you got was a reminder to refer to the map). INVENTORY - remains visible. CHARACTERS: Minimal interaction. I liked the accents. No lip-sync.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The Wisbey Mystery has got my attention. Inspite of some negative reviews, I was curious of the story line according to the positive reviews. Normally when some comment on how boring a game is, I won't bother to play it. Somehow I lose interest quickly, but the positive reviews caught my attention, I just had to try it. So glad I did. This is not bad, a no brainer, but interesting. I just have to see where the story goes. Lots of interaction which I prefer over HOPS, which by the way aren't eye straining. I totally enjoyed the graphics, beautifully done. The Music is mystically mysterious, and enjoyable. I just thought I should put my two cents. Have fun!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not really bad I actually enjoyed the game. Granted the designers' names for objects are a tad different than our's (whirlygig for some of us is a pinwheel, to them a spinning top, and the like) but it was not that bad at all to play so I don't see any issues with it. Only complaint was having to maneuver around a bit to get the cursor so change to down to go to another scene but a minor issue.
