Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not Every Game Can Be Perfect ! This was one of those games that just misses being a 5 star. That being said, I did enjoy it. Not perfect but a very good game! Give the demo a try and see what you think. Enjoy!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Entertaining I have to say that this was a fun game, even though it was a bit cheesy. You are the princess of the Earth Kingdom heading out to meet with the royals from the other four kingdoms, but wait, there is a fifth kingdom. You have to save the royals from the other kingdoms, and defeat the bad guy. At the end you get to marry the man of your dreams,,,sort of..that part kind of got a little murky and cheesy, but no matter, it is still entertaining. Puzzles were fun and not too easy, but I didn't have to skip any. A few were unique, but most you will have seen before if you are a fan of the genre. HOS were plentiful and varied. They were a little dark, but I had no problem finding everything without using a hint. . The music was weird though. I usually tun the music off, and I didn't on this game, but it sounded like a western. Very disconnected to the fantasy theme. Overall a decent couple of hours.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Isa Needs The Blood Of All 4 Princesses To Complete His Dark Ritual Every 20 years, on the night of a full moon, the heirs to each of the four Kingdoms gather to crown the new ruler of all Kingdoms. Gathering all four elemental Princesses in one place is a very bad idea because the evil Mage Isa has all his eggs in one basket so to speak. Isa needs the blood of all four heirs to the kingdom, representing air, water, earth and fire. As usual, Isa intends to use their blood in a dark ritual, a ritual that will allow his master to return from grave! This is one of the best Spirits of Mystery games yet, which actually takes place between the Chains of Promise and Family Lies. The graphics are beautifully hand drawn which ERS has become famous for in all of their games. The storyline does a nice job of tying old vs. new Spirits of Mystery plots together, as they explain the how's and why's of rise of Isa. ERS seems to love their floating magic devices which are presented in some form or another in all of their series, including this one which is a Moon Mirror. The mirror can destroy the Eclipse Blossom that releases a fatal poison when it blooms. Naturally, you will play a Mini Game to recharge the mirror by capturing 7 floating crescent moons that can't be seen by the naked eye. I purchased this game in the Collector's Edition because of the abundance of CE bling. In the CE there are 20 Collectible Crowns which give you a brief description of it's origins as well as how it was forged. There are also 10 Collectible Portraits that include a brief bio of the characters in the Portrait Room. After the demo, you will start collecting 8 Mystical Cats such as Koshka the Cat, which also gives you a brief description of its origins, My favorite feature in the CE version is the Achievements you earn, which usually doesn't interest me, but I was able to learn a lot about this series through the achievements. After earning the achievements, you can visit the Achievement Room, and each achievement tells you things about the characters and kingdoms that aren't portrayed in the story, but are what the artists and story writers imagined. For example, Nanny was envisioned by the artist to look much different originally, and did you know that she was immortal, and that her name is Kim? The CE version even has two Bonus Chapters! The Hidden Object Scenes are mostly Interactive List finds, the scenes are beautifully drawn and there are a ton of interactive items, most of the scenes have a small puzzle to solve as well. Each HOP has a hidden Crescent moon available in this Collector's Edition, another reason to go with the CE version. There are several small Zoom Zone Hop's where you find multiples of one item such as 5 feathers or flowers. The Mini Games are easy to medium in difficulty, but fairly entertaining. Below are brief descriptions of some of the games you'll encounter during the demo: 1) Find items that match the Keywords in each sentence. 2) Swap puzzle tiles to complete the picture. 3) Remove vines by clicking on matching flowers. 4) Click on the meter when the arrow is in the red zone. 5) Swap gems so they are in their matching color coded slots. 6) Slide symbols along tracks to the correct spots. 7) Create a continuous line of stone blocks from one end to the other by dragging various blocks of ice, stone, spikes and fire. 8) Capture 7 crescent moons with the Moon Mirror by scanning the entire scene with the mirror. 9) Fill 5 color coded vials by connecting color coded orbs with a horizontal or vertical line. 10) Select 3 piano keys with symbols, that when combined will create the symbol that is circled. The Collector's Edition has 10 Wallpapers, 10 Concept Art pictures, 9 Avatars, 6 Screensavers, 16 replayable Mini Games, an Endless MG (click and drag groups of tiles in a Match 3 type game) 14 Movies, 10 collectible Portraits, 4 Music Soundtracks, 22 replayable Hidden Object Scenes, 8 Collectible Cats, replayable Movies, Collectible Moons in the HOP's (view them in moon room and get horoscope) A compatibility Test to match your personality to an ERS game series, 20 Collectible Crowns, 20 Achievements, a built in Strategy Guide, a Bonus Chapter and an extra Bonus Chapter (Isa's Story), enjoy!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from This is a Mystery, Okay This is posted after playing the demo. This game simply was not fun to me in the slightest. I have an earlier version of this game, and it too was pretty juvenile, but this one is worse. I really do hate to do negative reviews, but I have to tell it like I see it. I was amazed that the voice overs were so distorted. I don't think it's my computer, because it has played everything else just fine. From the very beginning it was like they were all speaking from a well. The lip movements were very well done and the music was okay. Effects went along with the action. Graphics were pretty well done. Looked hand drawn and movements were good. I did like the challenge. I did all the mini games, except those that kept repeating about the same action for three or four times. Hidden objects were very well done. Good variation in type. These were the saving grace of this game. There is an interactive map which does show where there are things to do and transports. The only difficulty I had was it is so small. They crammed the whole story onto the map, which makes the details difficult to see. I liked the unique way they allowed you to select mode of play. Wish all games were like that. The story is very much like the previous version. Others can go into it for you, but it was lack luster and pretty much the same as the others. It is a fairy tale and they can't be taken to seriously. Isa is back with all his tricks which in the demo are pretty weak. The genre is about all we have been getting lately so it takes a superior game for me to buy. I might have made the purchase had it not been for the sound. I just cannot get over it. Play the demo and perhaps you will have a better experience than I.
