Rated 5 out of 5 by from Don't go to sleep.... Don't have to worry about falling asleep while playing this game. The game is great. It is not like the other redemption Cemetery games, but it is still a great game.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from CONGRATULATIONS ERS, THE MOST WONDERFULLY WEIRD, STRANGEST DEVELOPMENT TEAM EVER! This is one edition of the Redemption Cemetery series that takes you on a journey so incredible that you may never sleep again, yet once you complete the adventure you deserve the much needed rest. Dr. Jim Phillips and Dr. Jane Warovski have resurrected a Dark Lord out of an obelisk at an excavation site. A terrible Night Terror Virus is unleased and patients at the Dream Research Institute must stay awake or else die in their dreams. You will really have to think outside the box once you discover the morph cola vending machine (Morpheus Cradle) and use it to deposit soul spirits from the patients in the institute to be transported into their dreams and save them. This theme of tele-transportation and time travel is what has made Redemption Cemetery such a cult classic fan favorite! ERS has done a fantastic job with this new edition and it's trending at high velocity on social media. Heavily criticized on one hand and highly praised by the other, just proves that the developers deliver for fans who crave counter-culture and are bored with the status quo. The graphics and voice overs are really other worldly too creating a trippy almost hallucinogenic effect. It isn't a game for kids or the faint hearted. Oh how I love a game that comes with a warning disclaimer! Demo this one and wave goodbye to the ERS rabbit when your mind plunges down the hole...........

Rated 4 out of 5 by from An ERS Game I Like! ERS is one of my least favorite Devs...all their games have the same feel...and are not to my liking, usually. This game is an exception...where it still has that ERS vibe, it's a lot more fun...kudos to the Devs on this one! I really enjoyed several of the HOS, and found some clever ways the Devs made this a different, fun game...i.e. the microscope/virus cell! It's these unique additions that made this game a "purchase," for me. As always, try the demo for yourself...and enjoy!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A GOOD PSYCHOLOGICAL THRILLER This game had the right idea, but it was very short. It is your job to rescue four people who are victims of their own fears/nightmares, and are being hospitalized. A doctor created a machine which allows you to take their soul orb into his machine, and explore and fix the problems creating the fears. They seem to be coming from some kind of entity/ curse. but that wasn't really made clear, at least not to me. You get that idea at the very end. I think it's worth getting during a half price sale, but I'd have felt shorted if I'd paid full price

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Soon You Will Fall Asleep And Your Soul Will Be Mine Forever! Redemption Cemetery games can be a hit or miss game, either a hero or a zero, fortunately, Night Terrors is one of the better ones. I'm not a real fan of this series, mostly because they all seem the same, and none of them really stand out in the crowded genre of HOPA games. Usually, Redemption Cemetery games are about the dearly departed who cannot fully depart because they are searching for redemption. Usually they are given the opportunity to travel back in time to attempt to right the wrong thus being redeemed. One has to wonder if the devs are attempting to breath life back into a lifeless series. Jane Warovski desperately needs your help at the Dream Research facility, when her patients begin dying once they fall asleep!. Following in her grandfather's footsteps, at the Research Institute he founded, Jane knows all too well what will happen if any of her patients fall asleep. Project Mara began as a simple sleep study to allow scientists to learn the significance behind human dreams, and her grandfather discovered a way to enter people's dreams. Something went horribly wrong however, when a virus began spreading from patient to patient through their dreams. In advanced stages, the virus began to kill it's host, and Jane realized that the only way to keep her patients alive, was to keep them awake, wide awake! In the Collector's Edition version, there are the usual Achievements to earn, which are awarded in Bronze, Silver and Golden skulls. There are also 12 Collectible Character figurines in four different categories, At Death's Door, Clock of Fate, The Island of the Lost, and Bitter Frost. You are equipped with a Smartphone which allows you to view your tasks, etc. and there is an app on the phone to play an archaic driving game called Grave Racer, which also has an achievement tied to it for earning your current best score. The Hidden Object Scenes have not changed much in the past nine games and will probably always stay the same. They aren't necessarily bad, just typical and predictable Interactive List finds with an interactive puzzle to solve, but there was also a Silhouetted Shape HOP offered in the demo The feature I loathe the most is that they always have a repeat HOP in the same scene. The Mini Games are okay, some super simple, others a bit more frustrating. Below are brief descriptions of some of the games you'll encounter during the demo: 1) Figure out the last 2 digits of the keypad by trial and error. 2) Recreate the symbols shown in the center by choosing two different shapes to combine. 3) Switch between cameras to find someone who has fallen asleep. 4) Arrange the colored balls so they match the pattern shown. 5) Use directional arrows to scan for a virus on a microscope. 6) Match identical x-rays. 7) Use a partial encrypted clue to figure out the pass code. 8) Restore the image by correctly placing puzzle pieces. 9) Rotate tumblers so the symbols match the clue you found. 10) Replace two parts to collect a circular puzzle piece. 11) Select correct combination to get the adrenaline serum. 12) Match all of the cards until only one remains. 13) Complete the image by connecting the dots. The Collectors Edition has 15 replayable Mini Games, 20 replayable Hidden Object Scene, 10 Concept Art pictures, 10 Wallpapers, 7 Screensavers, 6 Music Soundtracks, 21 replayable Movies, 16 Achievements to earn 12 Collectibles, a built in Strategy Guide, and a Bonus Chapter, enjoy!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Far too short Creepy story. A mix between fantasy and nightmare. Not uninteresting, adventure part had some challenges. Can’t be customized in all criteria, but the main ones. Just a few not very difficult minigames. HO’s not bad, you can’t switch to another mode. Length: I needed not even 3 hours for completing. All in all: well done, but nothing surprising, nothing new.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Seemed short to me Not really sure why this had all the warnings about having horrifying scenes, etc. I didn't find it all that "scary" or "horrifying". The game to me did not flow well and the transporter map was not only confusing but totally useless. If you buy the game just use the hint to move around. It does have a custom mode that allows you to freshen the hint and skip quickly. HOS are pretty normal and the puzzles doable for the most part. Can't say this game blew me away. Using the "through the vortex" theme, you basically help three people with their bad dreams and at the end toss out the bad guy and everyone is happy. Been used many times before. Happy others enjoyed it so much, I found it a bit of a drag so the fact it appeared short was a good thing for me.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Short and Not Sweet I usually love HO games and have accepted the fact that necessary items to complete a broken object in order to move ahead in the game. Most , if not all of the HO games include broken fountains, broken wells, faucet handles missing, wires needing connection, batteries needing to be found etc. and I have resigned myself to the fact that it is pretty much the same game repackaged over and over. What keeps me coming back is a good story-line and some challenging game play. I found neither in this game and, while I was still waiting for it to get interesting,,: 'THE END' I was shocked . I was done with this game in less than 3 days, playing it maybe an hour at a time. I only paid $3.99 but I seldom feel that a game is not worth $3.99. This game, for me was not worth $3.99. That is not to say you won't like it. I didn't.
