Mystic Journey: Tri Peaks Solitaire is rated 3.1 out of 5 by 10.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from 5BN GAMES' MYSTIC JOURNEY TRI-PEAKS ON BFG! YAY! Challenging and fun, Mystic Journey is also a free to play game that I've long awaited it's release here. Yay! Clover Tales The Magic Valley is also a free to play and also here on BFG so why pay to play when members can purchase the entire game or use a credit. Battle your wits to level up at your leisure. If dissatisfied with one star, replay the level and try for three stars! 5BN Games gives a broad space for improvement since there is unlimited energy. Devs have so many outstanding games--Lost Lands, New York Mysteries, Darkness and Flame series. Also recommend the Lost Island Eternal Storm and Lost Island Mahjong Adventure. All are here on BFG. More from 5BN Games as these Developers are one reason I stay here on the Site. Enjoy!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Too short I like a challenge, and this was a challenge believe me, but made it (ultimately) all the way through. Liked the story but could have been embellished a little more and maybe another power bonus or two ( reshuffle, redo etc.) But graphics were great and the game a lot of fun and winnable (with a little patience) so a solid 4 from me. Just could have used a few more islands to visit!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Too Short This game played well. Interesting. Fun. Only it was too short. This is why I can't give it more than 3 stars.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from What are you judging me for? This is the kind of solitaire I like best: one up one down. Graphics are good, music is bearable, cards are perfectly readable (even if there is not any option to change backs or faces), and there are a number of features that could have made it fun and new. Problem is, although boosters are available, it is nearly impossible to get them. At the end of each level, you are awarded stars, one to three, to be exact. These stars are what you need to buy boosters that could help you win more levels, gain more stars, buy more boosters... there you go! Fun! This is not the case, because the game will award you stars only if you complete the level, removing all the cards, and even then, it will decide how many to give to you without any understandable logic, because, let's be honest, this is a solitaire, so there is only so much that you can do to beat the level, (especially if you are not granted boosters) except to draw cards and hope for the best...Also, some of the features that are innovative to this game, given the difficulty in beating levels, make really little sense. What's the point in having timed cards that just end the level if you don't remove them immediately, if I cannot draw the card needed, and I have no other mean of getting rid of them? It is just almost there to be one of the best, but this loop just makes it too difficult and frustrating. So bad!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Could have been good This game could have been so much better if you actually had enough cards to finish the game. It starts out ok and then it just gets ridiculous. And I have to agree with Pennmom. Where is the Tri Peaks???? This is only higher or lower. The graphics are great and the game would be really good if , like I said, you actually had a chance of winning the game and getting enough cards dealt. I play a lot of card games and this game started out really good, but there is a slim chance of actually making it through once you level up. Not impressed.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from EVER SO PROMISING BUT ULTIMATELY A LET DOWN First of all, where's the "tri peaks" part? This is a normal Higher/Lower Solitaire game, that has some really cool features. I thought this was going to be a really fun solitaire game, but it doesn't give you enough deck cards to give you a fair chance of winning. The first 7 levels are doable, after that, you're going to spend the rest of the demo trying to beat the next 2 or 3 levels with about 20 deck cards available. Even if you somehow manage to beat the level, the best you can hope for is a one star rating! You begin with a tutorial you cannot disengage, to make matters worse, the tutorial forces you to use a joker, even though you could clearly continue a chain without wasting one of only 2 given jokers. You start out with 2 undo's, 2 add five cards, 2 reveal all face down cards, and 2 remove all face up cards. You could in theory, use all the bonuses to beat the level, but having to use these features from the get go is ridiculous. You can buy more of these bonuses, but unless you have at least 20 stars, you will be caught in a catch 22, because it's impossible to earn more than one star. I do however, like the obstacles offered. Cards that are Chained require two plays per chained card, Locked cards require finding and playing the Key card, Rotating cards change value with every turn, and cards with Timers require you to play that card before the timer runs out, or you will lose. Again the problem is, how can you possible beat those more difficult levels if you cannot beat the first few levels?

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Loved the game, but... It has way toooooooo much flashing and bright. Makes me want to look away from the screen, which doesn't make for good game play. Otherwise, I like the setup. Plays smoothly etc. One card higher or lower so you can make large combos. No way to change card faces or backs. If you don't mind all the flashing etc when trying to play a relaxing game, this might be just the one for you!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from challenging but not enough levels While this was at times challenging there were not enough levels, only 60, and the story was not an integral part of the game play. I wish I hadn't bought it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from not fun I like a difficult game but not an impossible one. In this game you simply do not get enough cards to finish the levels. Either they should have put in more cards or made power-ups more readily available.
