Redemption Cemetery: Embodiment of Evil Collector's Edition is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 23.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Helping souls? You got this! Travel into the past... Something really-really dark sucks in the life of people, trapping them into their own worse day... What a game, with a unique character and a distinctive artwork. And although not all the puzzles were well executed, technically, this HOG is true to its fame and nature. Glad to be back!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from REDEMPTION CEMETERY 10TH ANNIVERSARY EXTRAVAGANZA!!! This is a great come back for the 10th edition of Redemption Cemetery after the 9th game, "Redemption Cemetery: Night Terrors" released in February of 2017 was heavily criticized. That CE version ended up with a 3 star rating, but this edition seems to have received some, "How shall I put it?" Redemption? (LOL). ERS and their developers once again brain-bend the minds of casual gamers with their unique horror series that raises the bar for fans of this cult classic series! You'll want to rush to save the three (3) souls encased in pillars of stone because you only have until dawn, but take your time with this 4 hour adventure and enjoy it. Only the light of souls can dispel the darkness in the cemetery and keep hope alive during the night. One with a "pure soul" can locate the light of souls and illuminate their path from the evil Kyrkogrimm's devious plan. Upon meeting Astrid who is trapped inside the church of the cemetery, she tasks you with locating crystals to activate the souls of three cursed individuals. Placing the crystals in Astrid's altar activates a portal for each of the souls where you travel back in time to save them. Time travel portal is a recurring theme in all Redemption Cemetery editions. Pay close attention to Astrid; she holds a fascinating secret about Kykogrimm that you'll only discover by playing the adventure in it's entirety. Like the sign reads upon entering the cemetery, "Only once, only in light a mortal comes to the cemetery or darkness will TAKE THEM!" Fans will also really enjoy the bonus game where you must save your brother David or else he loses his soul. Exceptional production values, phenomenal sound effects, and tripped out hallucinogenic special effects await you. No one does horror like ERS. They really know how to set the industry standards for this genre. Kudo's to Big Fish and ERS for their outstanding games! Redemption Cemetery started as an interesting concept from Nate Webb, former Senior Director of Developer Relations at Big Fish. Isaias Vallejo was the Producer and he wrote up a concept proposal outlining the details of how the game would look and feel. Check out these editions and play all of them..... Redemption Cemetery: Curse of the Raven Redemption Cemetery: Children's Plight Redemption Cemetery: Grave Testimony Redemption Cemetery: Salvation of the Lost Redemption Cemetery: Bitter Frost Redemption Cemetery: The Island of the Lost Redemption Cemetery: Clock of Fate Redemption Cemetery: At Death's Door Redemption Cemetery: Night Terror's Redemption Cemetery: Embodiment of Evil

Rated 5 out of 5 by from ANOTHER GREAT GAME!! I was thinking the other day, while playing another Dev's game, that I really felt like playing a game by ERS. A couple days later came another Redemption Cemetery game. I was so excited! I've only played the demo, but am really eager to play the rest. So, how can you beat the great sale this weekend by BFG? Two CE games and one SE game for the price of one CE!! My kind of Sale. ;) Of course this game was my first choice and Stranded Deamcapes: Deadly Moonlight was my second. R.C.: Embodiment of Evil has everything I love in a game. It's spooky and makes me reluctant to go into rooms/areas not knowing what's waiting for me. When I can get into a game, feeling like I am actually experiencing it, that game is a winner in my book. I have, but have not played, all the Redemption Cementery games so far and I feel this is one of their best yet. GREAT going ERS, and thank you BFG for putting it out there. Please keep up the good work.. HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY to all the Mommies out there, young and old. Have a peaceful, fun day!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Redemption Cemetery Game! This game grabbed me right from the start! Fresh and creative hops, new interactive scenes and videos and so much more. This was a refreshing change of pace in the creativity and I can hope the developers keep it up. As always, love the graphics, music, and the color scheme. Beautiful. Looking for a new twist on the same old HO games - this is the one you should play. I played the demo and as soon as it was done purchased the CE.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best redemption cemetery I love this game. It is so different from the other games. I always like the redemption cemetery games but this one is the best. So many things to do and different hogs and mini games. A definite buy for me. Really enjoyed playing this game.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Kyrkogrimm Is Going Down This is an awesome game, judging from the demo. I have all of the previous games of this series. I will be adding this one to the collection. The game has excellent graphics, the music fits the story line, and the plot is excellent. There is a lot that is revealed. The demo kept me on my toes and I cannot wait to purchase this game to find out what happens next. The HOs are awesomely interesting, and the characters are vibrant. This game is definitely a winner.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from New ideas I have so far only played the demo. I found the game to be remarkably different to the standard HOP games. Although the mini games were not particularly challenging, the fun factor was high. I will definitely be purchasing this game. In my opinion a great deal of thought has been put into developing a "standard" game but with new ideas and nuances.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THE KEEPER OF LIGHT BECOMES THE EMBODIMENT OF EVIL? This Redemption Cemetery is a cemetery so full of evil, that not even the living dare to enter! No one leaves, not the living and certainly not the dead, you'd be wise to heed the cemetery's grave warning: Only once, only in light. (good enough for me I'm outta here!) The locals built a church within the cemetery, and summoned Kirkogrimm, the Keeper of light so lost souls could acquire the light, and find their way to eternity. But even he was cursed by evil, feeding upon their pain and removing all hope for peace in the afterlife, he is now the Embodiment of Evil itself. Legends say that only a mortal with a pure soul can find the Light of Souls, and release the suffering. That pure soul, is yours, it has to be, or you will remain in darkness like all those who have come before you, because Kirkogrimm doesn't allow anyone out alive! The only way to destroy him is to release the restless souls contained within the three pillars of the cursed, before the break of dawn. To break the curse, you must find a crystal for each soul, and activate them with ancient runes on the church's altar. You must break the chains of the each soul not yet dead, and enter a portal into the worst day of that person's life, and right the wrongs to give them redemption and save their souls from the Embodiment of Evil! Finally! A Redemption Cemetery worthy of 5 stars! Usually, this series offers mundane collections, but in this Collector's Edition version, the Collectible Cards are kind of interesting. There are 14 different cards, and each one requires you to collect 3 Grave Tokens to refute various urban legends. Some of the legends are really interesting, especially once you get to read the reason the legend started in the first place. I also love the newer feature RC has added lately that give you statistics after each Hidden Object Scene, with your accuracy percentage, the number of selections you made, the time it took to complete, and the hints used if any. You then receive Bronze, Silver and Gold Tombstone awards according to your statistics. You can disable this full screen pop up, as well as the 30 Achievement popups, if you don't like this feature. The Hidden Object Scenes have one feature I hate, they repeat the scenes a second time, not just some of them, all of them! Other than that, they aren't bad, and they are varied each time with Keywords in sentences, Interactive Silhouetted Shapes finds, Multiple finds and good old fashioned Text Listed item finds. If you want to achieve 100% accuracy, you cannot click on interactive objects for a black bar tip, however because it counts as a miss-click. The Mini Games range from fairly simple, to medium difficulty, but so far nothing to difficult or frustrating. Below are brief descriptions of some of the games you'll encounter during the demo: 1) Enter the code by connecting the dots to match the clue shown. 2) Open all lock pieces by dragging the skulls left or right, dragging one skull may affect others. 3) To ask a question, recreate the image by dragging horizontal lines the first time, vertical lines the second time and horizontal and vertical lines the third time. 4) Select and drag the correct rune sections to completely fill the center symbol shown. 5) Select and drag lines across dots in one complete line to recreate the symbol shown. 6) Select matching symbols by clicking on two clouds at a time to reveal hidden symbols. 7) Correctly place stained glass pieces in three different puzzles. 8) Follow the directions to play an arcade game. (I was jotting down the puzzle info in my notes and the game finished all by itself correctly even though I hadn't yet started the game!) 9) Put your hockey team into the correct starting position and click the start button to try out your formation. 10) Throw basketballs into a tiny moving net until you score the required points. 11) Select and place the missing road pieces correctly. Redemption Cemetery Games Available: At Death's Door (5-16) Bitter Frost (12-13) Children's Plight (11-11) Clock of Fate (9-15) Curse of the Raven (11-11) Grave Testimony (8-12) Night Terror's (2-17) Salvation of the Lost (4-13) The Island of the Lost (3-15) This Collector's Edition has: 42 Collectible Skull Tokens to Refute 14 different Urban Legend Cards,(3 Collectible Skull Coins required per card), 30 Achievements, (you can disable the screen animations) 7 replayable Mini Games, 21 replayable Hidden Object Scenes, 9 Concept Art pictures, 16 Wallpapers, 7 Screensavers, 4 Music Soundtracks, 10 Movies, a built in Strategy Guide and a Bonus Chapter, enjoy!
