Customer Reviews
Princess of Tavern is rated 2.3 out of 5 by 23.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Everything in one game with SIDE game too, AWESOME FUN This is an amazing game, you have to serve customers food at their table, gather the money and take their dishes away, if the customer spills a drink you have to clean the tables. The levels get harder and harder BUT you can buy upgrades which give your customers more patience. I really enjoyed this game as you progress through the levels many little side games come into play, like a match three veg by clicking and gliding your mouse over the items you want to match at the end of the level you gain quite a few vegetables, gold grabber the old style game was awesome and brought me back to my childhood at the end of the level depending how well you did you get gold, then as you advance through the levels more you get a pairs side game, where you have a lot of covered plated, you uncover them to see what they are, remember where they are so that you can match them with their partner, advance in the levels again and you get another match three where you have to switch adjacent animals, at the end of the level you gain meats, you can also buy the veg and meat in the shop but i found it much more fun playing the side games to win the veg and meat. Advance in the levels again and you come across a splat the dragon side game, you have a cannon and fire tomatoes at these green dragons which just pop up, at the end of the game you gain gold. This is by far one of my favorite games that has come out in a very long time. I loved loved loved the side games. A massive thumbs up to the developers and I so cant wait for more games like this. Normally I HATE this type of time management as I find them repetitive but this one kept me entertained for nearly 2 days before I finished the game completely. I will be replaying this game a lot. The game ran smoothly and the graphics where very good too, and The story line wasn't bad either. All the little side games had a cool down timer and it wasn't very long unlike some games, I think they were about 5 mins cool down timers, but by the time you had played your next level you was able to access the side games again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Too slow Really like the game if it were faster it would be a great game. Cook moves too slow and it's hard to seat customers if you can't feed the seated ones in time. I do like it though and will keep trying to improve.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It's Diner Dash minus something.... It will keep you on your toes...somewhat. It reminds me of a slower version of Diner Dash. I like the Robber and Knight customers, they add a little something to the game. It's not half bad at all. But if you're looking for something a little more fast paced, this isn't the one for you. BUT, if you're just looking for something to bide your time....then play this. I think it is a good game for the kiddos too!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It's OK It's not the funnest game I have played, but it has it's moments. If you are just looking to kill a little time, it is fine.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from LOVE THE GRAPHICS, LOVE THE CONCEPT, BUT....... Princess of Tavern has a cute storyline, lighthearted music, nice graphics and good Time Management tasks. However, I agree with the other reviewer, that the cook takes too long to prepare the food, which makes it difficult to earn 3 stars, because you can't progress until you get the food. I replayed the first couple of levels, because I only earned 2 stars, and at first you only have 2 chairs. You can't get rid of a customer and seat the next one if you can't speed up the time it takes to get the food. If it wasn't for that glitch, this would be a 5 star TM game! This is a Dinner Dash type of Time Management game, where you drag the customer to an available seat, click on them to take their order, click the cook to have him make the food, click on the food when ready, click the customer to serve the food, click the customer to take payment, click on the table to get their dirty dishes, click on the trash can to clean dishes, and repeat the process until all customers are served. As you progress, more complicated dishes are ordered, more customers are added and as well as different tasks are given, such as taking sweets to the baby to keep her from crying. Before starting a new level, you will be shown what food ingredients are required. You enter the grocery store to buy these ingredients in the required amount, such as 3 tomatoes. You will also purchase items to help you serve customers such as extra table and chairs to serve more customers.Eventually, you will upgrade the building itself, Diner, Inn and Tavern. After a few levels, you will unlock a Treasure Chest that contains an item to help you dress for the upcoming Royal Ball. Once all items have been unlocked, you get to attend the Ball. There are 15 Achievements to earn as well, but there is no option to play this game in a Relaxed, untimed mode, at least none that I could find. If you can overlook the slow cook, or find a way to work around this slow feature, it is a decent Time Management game, enjoy!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Another great time management game Another great time management game, the graphics are quite good in this one too.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good Concept / Poor Execution I liked the concept of this storyline, but the play itself was disappointing. I felt like there was a disconnect between the characters and play; for example, when serving a customer, the customer would continue to lose patience bars after being served. Also, fairly often mouse clicks wouldn't register (especially on the spinner you deliver meal orders to), messing up an entire sequence - this became more annoying in the harder levels. The mini games were a fun break from gameplay, but paying for levels with arbitrary numbers of food items was strange. Overall, the game could have been better.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Just an okay time mang. game The game is mediocre. The game character control is not very good. The graphics are nice. If you are regularly playing this type of game you will find it lacking something. Overall it does run smoothly thru the storyline just boring.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Just OK The cook does take too long but after awhile I was able to get the flow going to keep everyone happy. However, this is still a very basic and somewhat boring time management game. There are only four steps that need to be taken per customer and the repetitiveness got old real fast.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Time management games are my favourite type but this one...OMG....BORING!!!! This was so boring, not much of a story but the it was the game play that let this one down BIG time! It was so monotonous big disappointment considering the lack of new time management games. Even if this was free I wouldn't play it again! Thank goodness you get to try before you buy.
