Wave of Time is rated 3.7 out of 5 by 33.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from One of the best! LOVED this game! Great graphics throughout-especially clear HO scenes, where the objects were larger! The puzzles were really varied with different ways of finding objects, not just apple, scissors, anchor, etc. Some were more challenging than others, but I'm not into hard-to-solve brain teasers and don't like the monotony of going back to find things over & over. This had some of that, but most were was fun & different, so it was good in that aspect! Would love to find more with these great, clear, larger close up scenes. If you have any suggestions let me know! What I'd hope game makers will do is make the games more versatile. For example, you pick up a hammer to use later for something and carry it through several stages before you can use it; ultimately passing up problems that you could use the hammer for because they want you to use an ax or a crowbar. I say let me keep items in the inventory & re-use them, don't make them disappear just to have to find another item to do the same task! Waves of Time was pretty good in that respect, using items for multitasking! Pleasant surprise! I liked the boot! Also, I LOVE the beautiful rooms/scenes, they are intriguing and make you want to explore in more detail. I would love it if you could investigate every dresser, chest, closet & door, sometimes finding an object you need, others just finding pretty or objects that might pertain to the story line! I like surprises, like opening a door & birds come flying out for no reason. Overall, I did really recommend & enjoyed Waves of Time & and prefer great, large item graphics over tiny distant scenes. Great story line, too! Thanks!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Mini-Game Heaven! I decided I was going to delete this game in the first 5 minutes of playing the demo because of it's simplistic game play. Boy, am I glad I didn't because I'm loving this game! The amount of mini-games is astounding. And most of them are new/unusual games I've never played or seen before (and I play a lot!). If you love mini-games then this one's definitely for you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from NO GAME LIKE IT! THE MOST UNIQUE PUZZLES, NOTHING ELSE LIKE IT. NO FRUSTRATION AS YOU CAN CLICK ON HINT ANYTIME. THERE IS A LOT OF JUMPING AROUND TO DIFFERENT SCENES. I FOUND THIS GAME TO BE FUN, CHALLENGING AND VERY DIFFERENT FROM ANY OTHER GAME I HAVE PURCHASED OVER THE YEARS! I HOPE THEY MAKE MORE. THE DEVS DID AN OUTSTANDING JOB ON THIS GAME! THIS GAME SHOULD APPEAL TO JUST ABOUT ANYONE AS THERE IS SO MUCH TO DO.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wave of fun Wasn't sure about buying but glad I did. I am not normally a puzzle person but the puzzles were entertaining and different. There was lots of them but the variety kept you entertained and on your toes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally...Not A Match 3 or Time Management! Aunt Miranda disappears from all her photos and is also missing from her home. When Jane and Mike arrive, they try to unravel the mystery and soon embark on a journey through time. A futuristic pair of gloves with special powers have been found in auntie's basement, which can create a transition in time. Suddenly a portal appears. Jane and Mike step through the portal hoping to locate Aunt Miranda. Finding themselves in 1478 Italy, they know their time-line is way off. And I think the rescue attempt from this point should provide some decent entertainment. There were 4 HOGs and 7 games in my demo time. WOW! Every one was really great. Very different, challenge depends on which game mode you choose. The HOGs were lots of fun, very interactive. Especially loved the first one which was full of toys and interactive in surprising ways. I didn't experience a lot of the actual storyline because of so many games, which isn't a bad thing. But I did see enough to know that it will probably be a good, busy adventure. The graphics, colors, voices were all excellent. The characters were extremely well done. Music didn't irritate me to death. The scenes were lovely to look at. This seems to be a very generous Standard Edition and has promise of an entertaining adventure through time. I just hope it isn't too bogged down with games. Not many good SEs have come our way, for far too long. Thanks to other reliable reviewers I always manage to make the right choice when shopping for games. So I purchased this one soon after demo, and will rate it 5 stars. God Bless....

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Fun SE game This is a really fun and relaxing game. My favorite thing is that there was such a huge variety of puzzles. I've never seen so many different types in one game. The VOs are good and graphics are, too. Story line is a bit fantastical, but if I want reality I'll read the newspaper. I thought that sometimes the instructions for some of the puzzles weren't real clear, but I've played these types of games long enough to figure out what to do. I found myself really looking forward to each puzzle, just to see what kind it was. I like the HO scenes, too - especially the interactive ones. When you want to just kick back and have fun, this game would be a good choice.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wave of Time What a great game. Such a refreshing change to the usual HOG's. As an advanced player I found this game to be really intriguing and the mini games were mainly so different to what we usually have in most HOG's. I don't often submit reviews, I know I should in order to assist other gamers but I am too busy playing the games....no excuse really but I thoroughly recommend this game for those gamers who would enjoy a difference. Good graphics all through and what a refreshing change as mentioned previously. Hope we can get more like this game

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ya can't please all of the people all of the time. I don't usually buy non CE games but tried this one and really liked it. No royalty in distress, no monsters (so far), no purple smoke. Those factors make this game unique. I know some panned it (thus my review title) but, in my opinion, it's pleasant change from the usual fare. Artwork is great - bright, clear, and well done. Story line is different from the typical tripe. Thank you for this entertaining game.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Puzzle Heaven Wave of Time is not a game for everyone, but if you love a decent story, beautiful computer generated graphics, old fashioned Interactive Listed Item HO's and some of the most creative (and might I just add never been done before) Mini Games, then what's not to like with this little gem! Jane and Mike arrive at Aunt Miranda's home in the Alps, when Jane finally explains why they are there. Jane explains that all the pictures she has of her Aunt, are being distorted, all images of Aunt Miranda are disappearing! Turns out, Aunt Miranda passed away.......in August of 1966. There's only one explanation for her death in 1966, because Jane wouldn't have been born yet! The Hidden Object Scenes are plentiful, yet not over done, and all of them are basically the same. First you have to find 3 color coded objects to open up an Interactive List find Hidden Object Scene and the final object requires a small puzzle to solve. The Mini Games are never ending! I can't remember a game having so many puzzles. Not just the same old puzzles we've seen a hundred times, new puzzle, fun puzzles, really fun puzzles! I'll list a few examples. 1) Click on cards that are next to each other that have the same card value, the remaining cards will fall into their place. 2) Remove all billiard balls from the field by using one ball to bump others off the board until only one remains. 3) Select the area on a map that matches the shapes shown one by one. 4) Swap tiles so the picture corresponds to the Country's flag. 5) Find each pair of small discs with identical pictures. 6) Connect the colored cells of the same color using directional arrows to move the tiles next to their matching colored tiles to make them all disappear. 7) Rotate the daisies so that all colored petals match on all sides. 8) Find the numbers 1-10 hidden within encrypted scrolls. 9) Find all 10 mistakes on a picture. 10) Click on buttons until all turn green. This game is honestly worth a coupon at the very least if you love mini games. The graphics are really really well done, and the storyline is pretty interesting, enjoy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wave of Time Whatever you do: Do Not Skip the last video clip, where Big Maggie in her wedding dress,is throwing bombs at you! This scene IS the finale of the game/story. Here, the questions are answered: Did they stop Leo from getting this all started? Did they make it home? Is present-day 2016,the same world as we know it? Is aunt Miranda still alive? I made the mistake,of skipping the scene, where the bombs were chucked at me,by poor Maggie, left standing at the altar: And had to play the whole game over again. Other than this about the game,as others have said, there are unique games, one after another. Reminds me of the arcade games: Centipede,Space Invaders, etc. Battleship. And,there are IHOPS too. A huge refreshing change!
