Warning Playing This Game Could Send Your Sweet Tooth Into Orbit What a treat this one is and I think I've gained ten pounds already just from the demo and yes this is a buy for me. I have the first in the series and loved it these games are very different from the other builders because your rebuilding sweet treats and nobody else has done that before and I've always wanted to see a builder done this way so thank you dev's. This time you are off to save yummy cakes and pastries because the nasty ants and bees have decided to show up and be naughty once again. The graphics are very cute and the little gummy workers are a hoot and they build and move fairly fast. The game has three modes of play normal, multi-click, and relaxed but they aren't found in the options menu with the sound and music when you are on the main menu page click the hammer button that is where you will find your modes of play. Being that this is a builder it's pretty obvious what your gonna be doing only with this one your dealing with sweets you have a chocolate mine, sugar mine, butter mine, and jelly mine. The jelly mine and butter mine are two new ones. The graphics are really cute and bright and really kick start your sweet tooth. Also within each level there are hidden sweets so be sure to look around the for them some do stand out but some you have to really look for. There are bonuses at the bottom of the screen speed, extra worker, extra resources, and my all time favorite freezing time. I'm really glad to see another in this series I had a blast with the first and don't let the cute yummy graphics fool you some levels can be really challenging. As with all builders you are repairing mines, building homes, bridges, ladders and repairing the roads. I've really enjoyed the demo and yup I hit the cha-ching button. The game is really cute so give the demo a try you may end up wanting to take a big bite. Thank you dev's for another great addition to this series and I hope to see more and thank you Big Fish for making this such a sweet and yummy Tuesday. Have fun everybody now where did I put that number for Jenny Craig. November 17, 2015
LOVE IT!!! Thank goodness for a decent TM game at last. This is fun and challenging, and I bought it after playing only 6 levels. Despite what another reviewer said, you CAN play it in untimed mode if you want - I choose to play timed, and I have to say it's challenging trying to get 3 stars even after only a few levels. Can't wait to have the time to play more! November 17, 2015
Sweetest Thing 2: Patisserie Another great game in the series November 18, 2015
Wow. This one is Hard, but Good! As I said in my Title, this one was HARD. I don't want to discourage anyone from trying it though. I will say IMHO, that this one is for Expert level TM players. It requires strategy and patience to play levels multiple times to achieve 3 stars. That does rate the Replay value as high :) The game has a "click ahead" option - a must for me. It also has an option to mute what I found to be some extremely annoying Characters voices. I figured this out about a third of the way through. It is in the Options under Sound Each level has a Treat to find, some more than one. Graphics are cute. Storyline is cute. Don't know about the music as I almost always mute it. If you are up for a Challenge, and truly love the TM genre, this is an excellent game. I recommend it for Expert players and advanced Intermediate players. Beginners will get very frustrated. Looking forward to the next challenge in the series! December 6, 2015
You'll run those candy fat right off! I think this game is quite fun. It moves your curser pretty fast though and sometimes that gets on my nerves! A lot of clicking going on. I haven't played first game but can see how it could become a little boring, but I think it is cute. And it plays on my operating system very well, which is a blessing, since so many don't lately. Anyway I really enjoyed the trial and find it pretty challenging and a fast paced game. There is a lot to do and keep track of, that's a challenge for me, other better players might not think so, so be sure to give it a try before you buy or not buy. November 17, 2015
Good but not the best I really enjoy TM games and am always looking forward to new ones. I just wish that the developers and Big Fish would pay more attention to how the game really plays prior to release. There is a "No Timer" mode, but it does NOT work. The game is a good challenge other than that, but I do like playing without the timer so I can enjoy it while just relaxing. I would recommend it for anyone who likes TM games and don't mind the timer. November 18, 2015
Needs More Sugar There haven't been any improvements, this game has the same tasks as the original, and it just becomes boring and repetitive. You would think this is a game for children, but I must admit that some levels are difficult to achieve three stars on the first attempt, if you don't build the correct factories at the correct time. There are three modes to choose, Normal, Multi-click or Relaxed, and there are 18 Achievements to earn. As I said, the goals are the same, collect resources of Chocolate, Butter, Jelly, and Sugar cubes, and clear obstacles of stone, holes, and Lollipop Shards. Repair Bridges, repair Houses, and build Sugar, Butter, Jelly and Chocolate Factories or mines. Most levels require you to build a house for Mr. Pepper, and he will chase away the giant Ants. There is a Bonus Meter that charges to allow you to use bonuses such as an extra Worker, extra Resources or Freeze Time briefly. This isn't a horrible Time Management game, it's just not that exciting to me. November 17, 2015
Not great, Not bad. I play a lot of TM games and like the challenge of beating the clock, which having played the first few levels (approx 10) was quite easily possible, not sure why some people had difficulty in this area, did have to replay a couple to get the 3 stars though - it just required thinking about. There are hidden treats to find on each level, pretty easy to be honest and didn't add much to the interest of the game, also I didn't realise this till a couple of levels in and there was no way of telling from the main game page - that I could see - which levels you had found them on and which you hadn't which I found pretty annoying as if you miss one or two you had no way of knowing which levels to check on. The game play itself is ok, there is a lot of clicking as the factories produce items really quickly. Also it is possible to get stuck on levels if you don't build things in the correct order, one level I had to repeat a few times in order to get it right, which personally I don't enjoy, I only like to repeat levels to better my score. Story line was ok, nothing exciting, turned the noise off as I found it annoying, However it is nice to see a TM game after all the HO games that are produced. Overall - will I buy it - maybe and only if it is on offer or I may use a free credit for it but I won't be paying full price for it. It is a game I suggest you definitely try before you buy as you may be disappointed otherwise. November 18, 2015
OK TM game but never Un-Timed Enjoyed the theme and another TM game to play. TM mythical creatures get a bit repetitive after awhile. I won't play doom and gloom themes. The basic graphics were clear and coherent. But, some of the structures at the top disappeared into the heading. I missed a couple of houses that way. And some levels clustered the resource generators so tightly it was hard to see how to get to them. The character voices were annoying but could be muted. I didn't mind the music but it was repetitive. The three modes were all the same. The "Untimed" level was still timed. The "Normal" was still "MultiClick". A serious glitch in my opinion. I rarely play untimed but if someone doesn't like timed levels, this is a deal-breaker. There was more clicking than I usually enjoy. Game-play required pretty tight planning. For the most part, building up resource "mines" in the beginning of each level worked the best. Each level had a "hidden treat" that was so tiny I wondered why the developers bothered. It didn't seem to affect the score. Just that 50 treats were found. Since I was desperate for another TM game, I bought it on bogo day. For me it was OK. I can't really recommend it with the non-working modes, however. December 5, 2015
Colorful I have only played a few levels and find it is your typical "little dude" timed / resource management game. The game has very childish colors but, thankfully, dialogue boxes aren't overly bouncy. So far I don't feel like I'm trapped in a nursery mobile. :p. THERE ARE THREE MODES: timed, multi-click and untimed. To change modes go to the main menu and choose the hammer(?) symbol on the far left. November 18, 2015
