India Garden is rated 2.9 out of 5 by 18.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really fun! This game is addictive. You really have to concentrate and use strategy. Unlike Chateau Garden however if you use the power ups its not impossible to get through all the levels with a little effort. However if you want you can click on the button in the right had corner and set it to an easier mode. I really enjoyed this game and am hoping there will be more like this in the future.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A WONDERFUL MATCH-3/PUZZLE GAME India Garden is one of those surprise match-3 games that is far more excellent than it might seem at first glance. As soon as I opened the game and saw the developer, I knew it would be a must have game for me since several years ago this developer created another game that has been one of my go-to games and one that I have installed on each new laptop over the years. That game is Stones of Rome and India Garden is much the same in concept although a bit more updated. India Garden has a storyline that finds two lovers longing to break a curse that keeps them from wedded bliss. India Garden has lovely graphics that are colorful and clear. The concept of the game is much like some of the other quest type match-3 games but this one is much more puzzle-like as you move through the levels to build a beautiful garden and break the curse. As you play each level, you earn coins to spend purchasing a variety of items for your garden. The number of coins you earn on each level depends on how you clear the board. The goal is to clear each level with as few moves as possible. The gauge on the right will decrease for each stone you place so it is important that you make a match with each stone if you can. Of course, it is not always possible to make a match but try to be as strategic as possible so that you set up the board for future matches. In the upper left there are arrows that show how many stones you can place without making a match, and for each non-matching stone placed you will lose an arrow. After you have used the allotted number of arrows, then the board will begin adding stones. Once the stones reach the bottom of the grid you lose. You can always replay each level and try to improve the score. If you manage to clear the board before the gauge reaches the first band then you will earn three stars and the most coins, which then decrease as the gauge moves lower. As you play through the levels you will eventually earn power-ups that can help you when you find yourself in a tricky situation. Each level becomes increasingly more difficult with various obstacles thrown into the mix. Even with the obstacles, such as locked stones, it is still possible to earn all of the stars and the maximum amount of coins. You might already have guessed that India Garden is a definite buy for me but I do recommend that you try the demo to see if you like the game. If you love India Garden and the puzzles in the game, I recommend that you also try Stones of Rome.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Breaking The Curse This is a brick breaking type of Match 3 game requiring you to shoot a stone tile at identical tiles on the board to make matches of at least 3 tiles to destroy them, until all stone tiles have been destroyed. If you fail to make a match, more stone tiles are added at the top, which pushes the tiles towards the bottom of the screen, if the stones reach the bottom, you will lose. Try to destroy the stones in as few moves as possible, the more moves you make, the less you will earn. You can play in Easy Mode which which allows you to replay any level, but there is No timer, so you have all the time in the world to strategize your next move. You can earn up to 3 stars per level, and there is a meter on the right side of the screen to show your star progress. You have 3 available tile markers located at the top left of the screen, if there are no available matches when you place your stone, a marker will be removed. If all 3 markers are used up by not making matches, more stones will appear at the top, which causes the current stones to drop towards the bottom, if they reach the bottom of the screen, it's game over. As you progress, the boards become more difficult as new stones are introduced, as well as obstacles. Chains require a couple of matches next to them, but Weeds require matches made above them. Eventually you will earn bonuses that help you such as the Rainbow. The Rainbow is used to paint a highlighted group of tiles all the same color so that a match will take out an entire group. More bonuses are eventually unlocked but in the demo, the Rainbow is the only bonus you'll receive. This game combines the features of a Match 3 game and the features of a Marble Shooting game, where you click the right mouse button to choose the color of stone and the left mouse button to fire the stone at identical stone on the board to make matches of at least three or more stones. With the money you earn, you will purchase various flowers to restore the garden in hopes of breaking the curse that prevents two young heirs from being married, enjoy!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easier clone of Chateau Garden [review based upon completed game] Pros: easy to see colorful playing tiles, good puzzle challenge, improved powerups from previous game, untimed Cons: if you're not good at pattern recognition/puzzle solving this won't be for you, storyline, music, scene building really are copies of the previous game This is a brick shooter/marble popper collapse type game, not a M3. If you played Chateau Garden which the developer released previous to India Garden, you'll quickly realize that only the 80 levels are different as they kept almost everything else virtually the same just with a different color scheme. I did like that two of the powerups were altered to be more effective, as that made them much more useful, and the change of the "chest" puzzles to "hover mode" puzzles. The levels seem easier than Chateau Garden's, but that may just be my playing experience. If you aren't good at spotting the patterns and planning your moves carefully you'll still find yourself replaying levels over and over. As in the previous game, play for the opportunity to use your gray matter, not for the storyline or the garden scene building.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Challenging but Why Not Give It a TRY There is an easier as well as a harder option-- I picked easy as I'm just learning to play the game. I don't feel like I have to get three stars the first time I get around in a game. I can always go back again and see if I can get more points the next time...I find that it is fun and challenging and so far if I bomb out on a level, I just replay it. The Game for me is what counts.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from This is Chateau Garden set in India It's exactly the same game, just a different setting. So if you already have Chateau Garden, I advise you to save your money and not get this one.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Meh I completely misunderstood the description for this game. I thought it was going to be a match 3 and not a total bubble / marble / tile shooter. These type games are not my favorite. If this had been a straight up match 3....I would have loved it. Right now I am trying to decide if I am going to keep playing it because I did purchase or just take a loss and uninstall.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from India in title only I love Bollywood, and so i was coming to this hoping where would be some great instrumentals and fun imagery... This game is as generic as any other- nothing but the dialogue and character image is the least bit Indian. Fail.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Nearly identical in every way to Chateau Garden I only did the trial version. The theme is identical to Chateau Garden. Even the characters look the same. I didn't dislike the theme. I didn't enjoy it enough to complete it again. There were slight differences in how the game was played. I enjoyed the patience and strategy needed to complete Chateau. If better story line were different I would have considered purchasing this game.
