TAKE TIME TO SMELL THE ROSES I played the whole demo using the untimed mode. I always play untimed if that is an option. It gives me the ability to enjoy the graphics and other benefits of the game instead of trying to beat the clock. I found the HOS challenging enough to hold my interest. I used several hints along the way. Things were well hidden and at times there was a language difference that needed to be overcome. For instance, a blower is a fan, an ara was a parrot, etc. If the items were obvious, bright, big, out front, what would be the challenge in playing the game? The scenes from Cairo were a great way to get a little education about the city and its culture. And, again, playing untimed, I could view the pictures leisurely and enjoy them. There were two types of HOS lists, one by name and one by silhouette. There are way more HOS than mini puzzles. I did find the mini puzzles fairly easy except for some of the find-the-differences. Those types of puzzles have never been my strength. I don't remember visiting the same scenes but I did see that the same object often appeared in different scenes. This is always a little disappointing to me and makes me think the programmers are just lazy. There are so many objects in any given scene that duplication is not necessary. Ordinarily, I would rate this game a 4 star, but I gave it a 5 to try to offset the low ratings, undeserved IMHO. This is a good, basic HOG and I'm looking forward to playing the others in this series. March 30, 2016
Great straight HOG Great HOG, no fragments or going to different rooms.Over 50 levels of different bright scenes. Items a small and a challenge but unlimited hints. Scads of find the difference and put together puzzles interspersed with the hidden object scenes. If you are tired of dark dreary murder games buy this, you will enjoy it. May 16, 2016
Needs Work In the locate by shadow, colors were to dark to get a clear picture of what you were asking to locate. Hidden Object games are relaxing but this one got flustating. January 16, 2016
Basic Yet Frustrating This is a very basic HOG with a lot of repetition (having to visit the same scene over and over). The only challenge presented was created unintentionally by the limited quality of the graphics. I found them grainy and difficult to see. Also, there were some very frustrating scenes in which the area was dark and you had to hunt with a flashlight. Some the objects were extremely difficult to find and the hint "sparkles" were very hard to see. November 20, 2011
No Mystery Here. The only mystery here is how to find the items in the HOGs (hidden object games) because they are microscopically tiny in a miasma of what seems like hundreds of other items all set in a monochromatic color scheme. The only saving grace of this game are the mini games, which pop up every so many levels. Jigsaw puzzles, spot the difference, etc. LOVE THEM. I actually practically had my nose up to my computer screen looking for an item even though I had clicked "hint" half a dozen times and STILL couldn't find it. Not only is this game NOT a purchase for me (free coupon or not) but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone because I'd feel guilty that I might have caused someone to waste a good hour of their time. Very bad game. August 4, 2014
Total waste! Not worth your time. Too many picture swaps to be called hidden object. July 24, 2012
