Treasure Seekers: The Enchanted Canvases is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 24.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from I'm playing the game for the second time. Still love it! I'm playing this game for the second time at a few years difference and I still love it. A game a full of innocence, beauty and keen intelligence that gives you a childlike feeling and in a way never gets old. There are 4 games in this series, the series seems complete but nevertheless I would love the story to be continued even further. I would enjoy very much a newer one added to Treasure Seeker series. I am 100% recommend it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This series is just that...Enchanting! This series is a delightful and enjoyable to play. Even in casual mode the puzzles can be a bit challenging. And I like that it takes time for the hint to recharge. It makes me take my time and really search the scene for items. I likes how each story is different from the next. Though the villain Totenkraft is in a couple of the series he never outwits Nellie and Tom, who basically thwart his evil schemes with their goodness. So I highly recommend this series for those looking for a good, bright series of games.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lovely game and big improvement over the first in the series. I liked the first Treasure Seekers, but didn't think it was anything special. This one has more everything. Better graphics, sound, music, and story. There are lots of nice details that add to the realism of each scene. You can tell the developers really put a lot of care into this project, getting everything nicely finished and then some. Just watch the main menu background scroll for a while and notice how things move as if you were really walking along. I like the characters a little better, too, now that they are a bit older. It feels less like a kids' game and more like one any adult would enjoy, while still being one you can play with your kids without giving them nightmares. I didn't think it was terribly short, as other reviews stated. It took me 4-5 hours and was very enjoyable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun and beautiful I enjoyed this very much. You have to think and plan in order to solve the puzzles. Each scene is very different so using some techniques in one place don't necessarily work in others. I like that.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good value I really enjoy Nelly and Tommy and their adventures. I like the different kind of hidden object/puzzle games, and the storyline is cute and interesting. Thumbs up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Challenging fun hidden object and match game, Heya! The opportunity to actually search for the objects needed to proceed to the next step which also involves steps to complete tasks and actions with matching and sub tasks mixed in Whooooha!! Love this game.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fun Romp Through the Paintings I enjoyed this game. It is not a complex as some of the newer games, but it was fun to have each vignette be in a painting. The music was appropriate for the game and the ambient sounds were good. The game is linear and the goal is apparently from the beginning. The graphics were nice. There were no voice-overs, all dialogue was text (but there wasn't a lot of dialogue). The objects you have to find are not in junk piles, so that is a plus. The games are easy, which is fine with me. Overall, I recommend this game for those who are wanting a fun-to-play game that doesn't require intense concentration.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from UMMMMM....... I've played the other Treasure Seekers games, & this one stands up to that standard. This trilogy isn't near as entertaining as the "Crystal Portal" series. I like having to find objects to collect objects. It's a nice change from the typical HOS games. This game is fairly well paced; wished it would have been longer. There are NO voice-overs, so in order to follow the storyline you must read the dialogue. WORD OF WARNING: Even on "casual", the hint recharges very slowly. When I had to use it #granted this game was so simple I rarely had to use it#, I would be on to the next chapter by the time it re-charged. It's the same way for the 'skip' for mini-games. I'd say this is a good game for beginners, with the exception of the hint charge time. Would I recommend this game? Probably, but not for those who have played & are familiar with other HOS games. This game is nothing special, & really wasn't a challenge for me at all. As far as re-play value, you'll have to wait for a year before you play it again because of it's simplicity.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Complex and interesting game This game is part of the Treasure Seekers series, and is one of the better games. Nelly is looking for her brother Tom. Tom was looking for the Philosopher's Stone, but he disappeared. Nelly follows clues in order to find her brother. When playing this game you can choose the level of difficulty. Even with the easiest level it's still challenging. But at this level you have hints about where to locate objects that you need. This is similar to the other games in that when you find an object, rings pop up most of the time and you must find other objects that relate to that one. When you find them all then you get something that you need to continue the game. There is a list of tasks you need to accomplish. There are 6 enchanted paintings, and each one has a ghost that you must help. Once you give the ghost what he or she is looking for, they will give you something very important that will take you to the next level. As you finish each of the paintings you are getting closer to finding Tom and the Philosopher's Stone. I was impressed with this game and enjoyed playing it very much. The reason I only gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that if you play the game at the harder levels, many of the objects are impossible to find and you just need to click until you find something. So I played at the easiest level and enjoyed it more.
