Historically accurate facts about: Aviator Amelia Earhart (SE) It?s a mystery many have tried to solve. Mingled with HOS?, minigames and puzzles this game, created round the real life of Amelia Earhart, also has film cuttings from this world famous aviators life. The game was first released in 2010, and of a quite different structure to the games of today. It?s interesting, and challenging: one has to find artifacts, go to flight school, visit many places round the world which Amelia passed through before she disappeared off the face of the earth. At the end of the game you have to compare all you?ve found out, and choose which of the theories of her disappearence you think is the right one. A log book keeps you abreast with all your findings. A minor problem: You have to have good eyesight ( or a good magnifying glass ) to find what you search for in the hidden object scenes - then again, the artwork is so precise that once you spot the right object you?re never in doubt what it is. The flight school is real fun, as well as the puzzles. I love the ?old? games, and the fact that this one is a real story makes it so much more valid. ( system OS 10.5. but it worked fine in my OS 10.8.5 ) March 8, 2015
Love this game Ok, I'm really "late" in posting this review but I just found the game a few days ago. I love this game. I love good IHOGs and this game is full of them plus having to learn to fly Amelia's plane is fun but challenging as well. I'm quite tired of the cluttered, dark, sinister games although I've played many. This is more my type of game (like Amazing Heists, Vacation Adventures, and Golden Trails). I am a huge fan of all HOG games and enjoy some not too difficult IHOGs as well and good adventure games. I learned alot about Amelia in the newsreels and I'm playing slowly so I can enjoy it as long as possible. I highly recommend this game as it's relaxing but a challenge in a non-difficult way. Where's Amelia? it has been a while since i played this game. i do agree that this game is way too short. but i found it fun and delightful well worth the sale price of 2.99! it is a fun and interesting game! but, u b the judge and give it a try :) i mean just because someone does not like it does not mean everyone will besides that is what the demo is for XD happy gaming and a wonderful day ^^ January 22, 2012
a real life mystery! this game was both entertaining & educational! There were a lot of facts that this game provided that I'd never heard before! Very intriguing! May 9, 2012
Interesting History, Varied Game Play The first thing every reviewer wants you to know is "it's short". They're right - but she disappeared at 39 -- and they managed to make a 5 chapter game out of that short life! I actually liked the length for the topic - every section of Amelia's life got mentioned, but not with excruciating or boring detail. It's short and to the point. To make the game longer there is a flight game, and a theory section (admittedly too easy - you can see the clues). I loved seeing the news reels of her parade in New York and hearing her actual voice - so the fact the game is on the easy side didn't bother me - this was less of a game and more on an "experience" - a living history you could play with. I didn't have any trouble seeing the HOS. Scenese were clear and it was very easy to figure out what you needed to do. I actually like the flying game and wish there was more of that. So - if you want to know the life story of Amelia Earhart and the prominent theories of what happened to her - along with some neat trivia (she was a nurses aid in WWI) you'll like this. If you need a game that challenges your mind and makes you think hard, or that lasts longer than an everlasting gobstopper -- this one is not for you. April 2, 2012
Very nice DD This is a wonderful DD game with one major caveat, you have to like Amelia Earhart. Visuals are nice, sounds are good, the flight school could go or be better handed. January 22, 2012
Great game recommend it to anyone I'll play it over and over great April 6, 2013
Great Game I really enjoyed this. A lot of history, went through flight school and the scenes were good. The filmreels were awesome and overall just a great game. May 20, 2012
Entertaining biography I loved learning about Amelia in this format. The graphics weren't as good as some games and I hated the flight school but otherwise I found it an excellent experience. I didn't mind that it was rather short, because it told the story well--I prefer that to going on and on just to be longer. March 28, 2012
Great for AE Mystery buffs Loved the game, esp the theories on what happened. Good if you are into AE's disappearance. VERY short game. Flying school was fun. March 27, 2012
