Fun x1000!!!! I loved the first Slingo Mystery game and the second is even better! Only one problem...when is the third game going to be released??? Ive played through the first 2 games several times...definitely a game you can play more than once! December 4, 2011
Less slingo more story. couldn't finish fast enough. Loved the 2nd installment's story line. Hidden object was great but there was less slingo in this one. Is fun, but if you were in it for slingo only it was a bit of a let down from the first one. Can't wait for 3rd installment, but hoping there is a lot more slingo and a longer story line. Also easier to continue and progress in this one. December 10, 2011
Lots of fun A multifaceted game combining adventure, hidden objects, and Slingo (slots + Bingo). Well done with nice, clean graphics, but some HO?s were tricky to find because of being small or hard to identify. Entertaining and good fun! September 6, 2012
Where is the next one? I have played Singo I and II a few times and really enjoy them both. I really would like to see the next one to find out about the Island. March 16, 2014
Good change of pace After just finishing two Collectors Edition games which were very involved and challenging, Slingo Mystery 2 The Golden Escape was a welcome change of pace being very relaxing and with out the intensity and intrigue. Maggie has to find out why Freddie's money has not solved her problems but only made them worse. The dialogue was enough to be tolerated and held you by the hand every step of the way and not enabling you to do most of the figuring out by yourself. The graphics were quite clear, bright and colourful in scenes in the foreground but deteriorated some what in the distance. The puzzles were pretty simple and did not require much thinking. The hidden objects were mostly quite easy to find but a lot of them were very small and were almost impossible to locate as they merge into the darker backgrounds. The slingo games are great and very enjoyable to play which I feel made this game into a good game with 4 stars rather than an ok game with 3 stars. July 15, 2012
Disappointing Really slow and limiting. Not very fun. December 20, 2013
Worse Than The First I'll give the first Slingo Mystery game credit in that it was innovative, combining that bingo-esque game with a hidden object overlay. Unfortunately, the sequel to that game resolved none of the questions from the storyline and added little to nothing to better the series. You once again play the character of Maggie Gold, and this time you're making your way through a floating ship which starts sinking pretty much as soon as you get aboard. That's a metaphor for the game itself, which once again makes you scour with precise detail through rooms for random stuff and then stop for a relaxing game of Slingo every once in a while. The characters are more cartoony in this game, and that's not just being literal. More people are added, as well as some cameos from the first game, but none of them are fleshed out very well minus the predictable nemesis. In addition, the clock in the game always seems to tell you it's 10 PM, even when it's broad daylight. Not a lot of quality control to be found here. If you liked the first game, this has to be seen as a bit of a setback, as you'll go through essentially the same rooms as in the first game. How many times can you knock out security cameras with a slingshot before you want to do the same to yourself? Not sure if a trilogy will ever be completed, but even if it is at some point, cash me out. June 13, 2015
Boring as ..ll. Waste of money. Very slow moving. Sit and wait after finishing levels for it to slowly open up next chapter. January 29, 2015
