Seven Seas Solitaire is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 62.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pirate booty abounds, great play! I love this gorgeous game. Not fond of terrible dark evil monsters, these pirates won't keep me awake with nightmares. Music and sound effects are the best ever, truly perfectly attuned to the play and overall design. I swear I smell salt sea air with every 'splash' effect. Solitaire is such a straightforward game it's hard to imagine one being immensely more enjoyable than another, but AnaWiki have scored in that, big time. Some rounds are easy, others you may repeat and repeat until you feel like one of the pirates who's been lashed to the deck in a storm ... hang on and keep firing, buy lots and lots of cannonballs and you, too, will prevail! Some games have pop-up minis that are intrusive but in Seven Seas these are a fun momentary refreshment, a joy, a pleasant diversion, here and done in an instant and often lining your pockets with more doubloons (hint: buy more cannonballs!) Not sure why but my first time through (almost complete) I've hardly bothered to buy power-ups at all, rather invested my booty in cannonballs which I seem to need in endless supply to triumph. Whatever works to get us to the end, aye, matey? Sail on, you'll love this ride!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ahoy! Solitaire lovers! This is another great solitaire game from BFG. It has an interesting storyline and good game-play. It's pretty similar to other solitaire games - buy power-ups, gain achievements and complete objectives. There are also 'mini-games' that appear every so often in the card hands. They are like 'chance cards'. Hit the bulls eye, find the treasure etc. You also have your standard 'road-block' cards that require tools to unlock or have to be played twice to clear. The power-ups are not cheap and you will likely need to replay levels over and over again to get them. But for those who like long game-play that will be a plus.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this game Fantastic game and the ocean sounds are so relaxing. I have the music off but love the ocean sounds in the background. Top notch game... Only complaint...the treasure chest jiggle drives me nuts... I wish there was a way to turn it off... it distracts from the game and takes away from the relaxing feel of the ocean...Please please let us have the choice to turn it off!!! Does anyone else have this problem with the jiggling treasure chest???

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A DELIGHT! A wonderful pirate fantasy adventure and quest through all the scenes of imagined piracy to recover ones true love. The progress of the journey is by played solitaire hands which will not please a purist in solitaire having about the relation to that game that fairy chess (with any number of queens or rooks etc) does to over the board play. Nonetheless the challenge is real and if, like a reviewer or two here, you try to rush through the journey you will find it impossible. One needs to play and replay and build up a supply of cannon balls to clear the way through the scenes ahead and to also equip one's ship and acquire all the add-ons. Well, play it and see! I have tried other solitaire based games but found none like this in enchantment and fascinating quality. It also has great replay value, have played it through twice and keep it bookmarked to replay specific locations whose play I particularly enjoy. In return for this pleasure, this review!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Game Nice card backs and pretty backgrounds, which I always prefer. The game which is one up, one down provided lots of stress-free enjoyment and the extra little differences not usually found in solitaire games, made it even more fun. The cannon ball helpers were quite useful in a pinch. My review is based on the demo, which satisfied me with plenty of fun. It will be a fun addition to my games. I love the newer solitaires with the extras that really increase the level of fun.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun, Challenging, Relaxing Seven Seas Solitaire puts a new fun twist on Solitaire. Challenges are fun to reach, with great sound effects and graphics. The only thing lacking is a musical score.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well worth persisting with Got very frustrated with a couple of difficult levels - Widow's Cove and Pearl Archipelago, but once I was past them the game seemed to play much easier without the same unusable cards turning up again and again. As soon as I completed the game I started it once more!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A favorite solitaire game! This is one game I've played over and over, using different names, trying to beat previous scores. It is relaxing and enjoyable. If you like card games, this one is hard to beat!
