Death Under Tuscan Skies: A Dana Knightstone Novel Collector's Edition is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 75.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect For The Romantic ! What a pleasure, playing this game. I own the all the DK novels and I am eager to continue the journey. This was a top quality game with such a heartbreaking story. A true love nipped in the bud by greed and illness. I was so sad when Giovanni was discovered hidden away so cruelly. I think I gasped out loud, even though I had suspected early on that something terrible happened to him. If I were reading this story, the pages would be spattered with tears. It was a long game with good mini-games/puzzles and were so enjoyable because they had just the right amount of challenge for a game of this nature. The graphics were superb, so sharp and colorful and detailed. The music was haunting and really added an extra layer of beauty to the story. I wish they had included a more in-depth recollection of Giovanni's and Eva's relationship. Some of the tasks were downright silly...one being, going all the way back to the restroom across the street from the lab for a bottle of water, and washing a door knob in its sink.. Even sillier was that professor who was always posed like a Penneys Catalogue model !! But none of that is a complaint, just a "I wonder why the devs did THAT" !! I was okay with the ending, but not okay with the lack of extras in this CE. Very disappointing indeed ! Oh well, can't have everything I guess. But this was a very nice game which I recommend if you like relaxing games that don't have demons and monsters running around all over the place. God Bless....

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is why you need to put the distributor name in the description. I love the Boom Zap games. They're different and may not be for all, but I really enjoy their games. Loved how beautifully done this one was. The scenes didn't look like scenes from every other game. Lots and lots of puzzles. Some I have to admit were a bit odd and left me trying to figure out how anyone could understand what you were to do, but mess with it long enough and you could figure it out without cheating or skipping. Not a lot of HO's and I love them, but the puzzles seemed to be more the theme. I think for the Senior mind it is a good thing to do these puzzles because it keeps your mind stimulated. All in all I really loved this one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Another great DK Game I think the Dana Knightstone series is by far my favourite. I am used to playing traditional adventure games and don't particularly like HOG, so ones that focus more on the story and the adventure/puzzle are my favourites. Like Cape Porto and Austrian Sonata, this is another fantastic DK game. I really like the story, characters, fast and smooth gameplay and graphics. Bought the CE and was not disappointed, the bonus games are worth the money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from PLEASURE TO PLAY Game is a pleasure to play because of its flawless gameplay. Mostly adventure, with quite a few clever and innovative puzzles that have varying degrees of difficulty that are a lot of fun to play. Great graphics with gorgeous color palette to add dimension. Good voice over for Dana's character, but others seem to be merely written dialogue. Love the Dana Knightstone games.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loved Death Under Tuscan Skies When I brought this CE game I just watched "Love Under the Tuscan Skies" starring Diane Lane. What a beautiful movie and what a beautiful hidden object game. Visually you are captivated, as well as intrigued by the story line and mini games. This game was well thought out and a joy to play. I plan to play this again and again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from YOU'LL NEED YOUR THINKING CAP FOR THIS ONE One of the best games I've played in a long time. There are very few HOG's; the game is made up mostly of mini-games that were refreshing in their variety and challenge. The hint object was superb and actually told you where you needed to go for the next step. But the game was pretty logical and linear so I did not need to use the hint button all that much for that purpose. However, It was very helpful in some of the mini-games where you have to figure out what you are trying to do before you can start actually solving the game. The mini-games don't come with a lot of directions, at least not in the advanced mode. The strategy guide was built in, which was another plus. I did use the strategy guide for some of the mini-games that I can never solve on my own. There are just some types of mini-games that I am not good at. I played the advanced level which probably made the mini-games a little more challenging. Playing in this mode I was also able to win achievements. I won all but 5 of the achievements, and some of the ones I didn't win were based on how quickly I played a chapter, so I wasn't really disappointed about that. There is no map but one really wasn't needed. I spent over 9 hours playing this game and enjoyed every minute of it. I highly recommend this game and will be getting the others in this series.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dana is back for #2 Dana Knightstone solves a new plot in Italy. Attractive and interesting, although I did go back and forth a bit. An added possible romance interest for our leading lady, so that was a plus and different from the first. Enjoyable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from ANOTHER GREAT ADVENTURE/HO GAME This is based on the Collector's edition. This is the second one in the series. The first one was great but this on is even a little better. Very interesting story and some of the puzzles were a challenge but not too hard. This one takes place in Italy which a beautiful place. There were quite a few puzzles which I liked and a bonus chapter:) I can't wait to play the third one in this series!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One of the BEST I've played in ages! Normally when I look for a game, I check to see what people are saying about it. I check the lower ratings first, and then I work my way up. This game was a blast. I loved it because it consisted more of puzzles, that were not too difficult (other than trying to figure out what in the world they wanted the player to do), but once it was clear, the puzzles were fun, but not too challenging. The storyline was a pleasure to follow. I don't always follow the storyline when I play a game, but this story line was good, sad at times, but that's what adds flavor to a game in my humble opinion. Again, I loved the fact that there were plenty, and I do mean, PLENTY of puzzles and very few HO scenes (that was a MAJOR plus, as I don't like regular HOGs). The graphics were beautiful, very artistic and very pleasant to view. The music was pleasant as well. It fit with the story. Oh, and it is LOOOONNNNGGGG! I thought this game would never end, and was pleasantly pleased that it didn't end so fast. Great game!
