The Keepers: Lost Progeny is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 41.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from GREAT GAME! It's very rare that I say that...."great game"....but this one was. Most of the time I don't play a game twice, but this one I did. The storyline was engaging, and kept me wanting to know what happens next. And where to go. What's around the next corner. The journal was good, with a lot of background information. There is no map, however. That was okay (added to the challenge), but sometimes I got lost. Music is music in any game. If you don't like it..turn it down. On to the good stuff. I am not a HO person, actually, but am heavy into mini-games. However, these HOS's were very well done. A challenge. I even had to use the hint button in one FOUR times (lamp, spoon, cover, king). Should I blame the size of the objects? Nope. The HOS's were excellent. Now the mini-games. They were all interesting, and blended well with the game. Most were a challenge..taking thought and time. Did I have to skip a few? Yes. TWICE! *heavy sigh* (the tiny skulls, and the stained glass window). Note: Either the Devs made a mistake..or I am whacked. In the eight different gems game, early on, if you go by the colored clue you will not be able to solve it. However, if you REVERSE the < 's and the >'s, starting from the left side, and going right, you will easily be able master this one. If you want to challenge your gaming skills, this is a great game to do it with. Enjoy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A beastly boy, infected by an evil spirit; a “Damian” of sorts (Omen with Gregory Peck), or a “Tom Riddle” (Harry Potter). A completely absorbing story. Although it is technically a “horror”, I didn’t find it jarring or disturbing. You jump, but just because it’s an unexpected and sudden occurrence. The violence shown is minimal and therefore, the spooky factor of creeping about and wondering what is going to be revealed next is what this game is all about. Not for kids. The story has strands of “Omen” the one starring Gregory Peck running through it. But it’s not nearly as shocking of course. GRAPHICS: Kind of dark (to see). You will need to adjust your computer’s brightness to FULL. However, the graphics are beautiful. My kind of scenery, distant misty mountains, grey/purple andpink moody skies, with fast moving clouds (all natural looking), “sculptures” of trees, barren of leaves…. I loved the night’s atmosphere , the contrasts of light and dark, purplish skies, with cracks in the earth releasing orange fiery light. These graphics are not cartoon-like, and in many places look realistic. CHARACTERS: have lots of character, and are more cartoonish compared to the rest of the graphics. HOPS: Lots. Some objects difficult to see, especially because doesn’t fit whole screen. Some scenes in particular (a handful) have you pulling the computer screen closer and closer. PUZZLES: None of my personal favorites present, but quite a few puzzles here. SOUNDS: Ony 2 options, sound and music. With music muted, you are only muting the music, not any special sound effects and so, you still get all the other sounds and they’re well balanced. HINT: Will lead you and indicate what to do. Sometimes will say “time to move on.” 30 seconds to recharge on casual (3 difficulty options) MAP: NONE, therefore you will have to rely on the hint sometimes. INVENTORY: Is NOT lockable

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun Hidden Object Game plus minipuzzles This game was an absolute delight. I did have to use the Hint to figure out where to go next but it worked fine and did not "cost" anything. Mini puzzles were fun - some very challenging. Try it, you'll love it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Consuming Story Line I found this game to be inspired with enough complication to test your mind while providing a story that was very well written and depicted. Though I liked this game very much, it left several loose ends that need to be completed. Hopefully, they will continue working on a possible follow up or continue to create more games of these excellent games!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Went Back A 2nd Time--Thanks to Reviews!!! Played CE first and was pretty much frightened away. Went back a 2nd time with Standard Version and decided to keep an open mind. I must say that the Game Reivewers here really helped, so, thanks! Dug in my heels and went for an exciting ride as the storyline is definitely intriguing. I, too, enjoy plots involving secret organizations!! Will most likely purchase as I did not read disappointing game-end reivews--which is very important to me. I like good stories and, likewise, enjoy endings that bring the story together without leaving Gamers hanging simply to promote a Sequel. Would love to see more Reviewers take a quick minute and post their "Current Favorite" as this helps me in finding other good BFG games to possibly try and buy! ALL reviews are helpful and appreciated! Enjoy! Mama Mia

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun Hidden Object Adventure Game The game begins with an interesting, compelling storyline that turns dark and eerie in a hurry and then gets complicated. The graphics are beautiful, the soundtrack is a masterpiece and the voiceovers enhance the characters and the gameplay. The Hidden Object scenes were fun and the mini puzzles were challenging, some of them pretty unique. This game has it all.
