Customer Reviews
Between the Worlds II: The Pyramid is rated 2.2 out of 5 by 86.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from If you're up to a challenge... Wow. It's interesting what people like and what they don't... I loved this game and hated it at the same time. Apparently, I'm a glutton for punishment. It's definitely tasking at times. There are no hints, just an "assistant" to lend a hand. I would advise playing through the entire demo before making up your mind - and then go ahead and get it anyway. One of the other reviewers was dead on with their tips about pushing away the clouds and the way the developers were thinking whilst building the game. It's definitely different but most worthwhile.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A real find! This just came on the Daily Deal and I read the reviews and decided I'd better try it for myself what with all the mixed likes and don't likes. I'm pleased I did, finished the demo and just bought it. It's very different with some very intriguing puzzles. Once I got the hang of the game the time went so quickly. I say, try it and be patient until it gets going. Well worth the daily deal price and for me a real find. Looking forward to doing the whole game now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One of the loveliest games ever! Ok, the first 30 minutes are a little boring. But once you get the "rhythm" of the game, it's just a pleasure - not an easy one though.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Clever, Stimulating! This One Is A Winner! Finished it. Very unique. Definitly had to dust off some of the grey cells. Good brain exercise. I really liked the clever puzzles. You don't often see great games like this that challenge the mind. I have a large screen which made searching & finding objects easier. I can see where some fishies with smaller screens may have a problem finding some of the very small objects. Check the journal and also the detective at the bottom of the screen for clues. I say give this game a try.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I Was Wrong....Here Is Why... Very seldom do I eat crow, the feathers tend to be annoying, but here it is....this game is actually a GEM. VERY hard to slog through at first, but then once you discover a certain item, and actually get to the first REAL HOG scene....you are bored to tears, then all of a sudden when you get to these magical and gorgeous scenes, does everything suddenly get better. Is this game for everyone? NO. YOU have to try it out yourself and hopefully get to those lovely little scenes before the game demo times out, it timed out just into the second HOG scene and now I am hooked and willling to buy this game when I can. Trust me, just like Beauty and the Beast you gotta get beyond appearances and find the magic within, it's worth it. The music once you get to these lovely and definaltey different scenes is magical and whimsical. If you have a love of hidden treasures in your games, this is it....try, try, try it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Oh Oh I for one will NOT be buying the game. I got to the funny looking design in the middle of the safe that looks like a funny key or something fits in it. No walkthrough or anything and turkey detective says to open safe. CAN NOT get help in forums (reason for that) so I am stuck. Looked like a promising game except for that tiny bit of a problem with the safe. Recommendation on purchasing it. I leave it up to the individual player if they want to waste their $$$.$$ or credits. Off to play Best in Show Solitaire , a BFG game.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Between Worlds II: The Pyramid I read all of the comments regarding this game and they came very close to making me decide to NOT buy this game, BUT I decided to try it. I am glad that I did. I admit that some of the "hidden objects" were difficult to find, but through perseverance I found them. This game was quite interesting to complete. There was not much of a story, but the end results were quite rewarding. Most of the reviews were about the players' frustrations that the game was different from others that Big Fish has offered, rather than pushing through that frustration and finishing the game. I am not sure that I would recommend this game to everyone, but I enjoyed playing. RJohn

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Panoramic HOs + excellent puzzles = WIN I don't understand the bad reviews. Are we that spoiled? Must we have simplistic puzzles and HO scenes that can be completed in under a minute? Do we insist on the formulaic so that we reject anything that breaks the mold? I'm disappointed. The Pyramid combined truly difficult HO scenes with challenging puzzles in an enchanting story that begs for a sequel. While it's not a long game, it's also not interrupted by filler narration, doubled up HO scenes, endless traveling, and random searching for shapes. What is truly groundbreaking about The Pyramid is that the HO scenes are panoramic. Each one is actually viewed from three different angles, each angle with its own list. Some of the items are easy to see from one angle, but on another angle's list, so you must think in three dimensions. I thought it was brilliant. The puzzles, while mostly familiar, were so graphically beautiful that they were a pleasure to solve. That brings me to the graphics. The only reason I rated four stars on visual/sound is that I thought the static graphics could have been improved a bit. But the animation was professional and breathtaking. And the music was not only appropriate, but relaxing, ambient, and perfect for gaming. There is a hint meter, and an assistant to instruct you on the various puzzles. A journal notes the story and gives additional instruction, should you need it. You're a private investigator, and you've been charged with solving the riddle of the pyramid, which resembles a Chinese puzzle box (in pyramid shape, of course). The very fate of the world rests on your success. Should you succeed, another task awaits you...in the sequel. Which I seriously hope is in the works. I'm off to look for Between the Worlds, Part I and learn where this all started. In the meantime, if you're bored with finding keys and shapes that function as keys, I recommend this game to stretch your brain. You'll have to think outside the box...er...pyramid.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from hmm.. I played this one when it first out and I never leave a review before. For this I'm still thinking give 4 or 3 stars because it's too short! I'm not give 1 or 2 stars well, at that time I feel fun even for a bit. So if you looking a game for spending your lazy time (like me) then try this. Btw, thanks dev and please make a "good" game not like this.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This one is a hidden gem! This charming little game reminds me of the Tiny Bang Story...the graphics in the HOG scenes and the captivating music are both reminiscent of that truly challenging story. There is little in the way of direction, but when you are able to figure out how to accomplish a task, it's all the more rewarding! I have played for at least three hours now, and am anxious to get back to it. Once you get past the detective scenes, the mini games will win you over! I'm so glad I took time to read the reviews...this one is well worth it.
