Entwined: Strings of Deception is rated 3.6 out of 5 by 102.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from A must play! I have just finished this game, and want to start playing it all over again! The storyline is totally absorbing and had me guessing and changing my mind often. The graphics - i want to live on the estate!! The home was very obviously lovingly portrayed. A lot of time has gone into these gorgeous graphics. The puzzles were FUN and all very different which was a real change (not just tedious search and find screens all the time). The music was amazing and suited the atmosphere well. I will play this again (many times i suspect) and encourage you to try :) HAVE FUN :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from ONE OF THE BEST This game did almost everything right. The hint button worked as the entrance to the strategy guide when used outside the hidden object scenes. This really streamlined the game and made it extremely easy to figure out the next step. There was no need to use a walkthrough at any point in the game. Although this is a murder mystery, it is not dark and gloomy. All graphics are sharp and bright. The game flowed logically and the story had an unexpected ending. Puzzles could be skipped but you didn't have to wait for a skip button to charge. Here, again, the hint button was the way to get to the choice of skipping a puzzle. There was a lot of back and forth, and here is the only weakness in the game. There is a map, but it is not interactive, and this would have been a big help considering all the going and coming that was necessary. In addition to the puzzles, you also had to collect items of jewelry and fingerprints throughout the game, although this gained you nothing and were not used in the game. Perhaps this was a way to set up the bonus play for a CE, if there is one. The puzzles were interesting and varied. Another nice touch was the ability to mute all the sound yet still be able to hear the voiceovers. Again, the only improvement that could possible have been made to this game was upgrading the map to be interactive to cut down on the down/over/up/back clicking that was necessary to move through the locations. I enjoyed this game so much that I didn't want to stop playing, I'm going to go looking for more games in this series, if there are any. I highly recommend this game.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from good for me! I played this one when it first out and yes, I have fun (I never leave a review before). If you are a HOG lover well try this. That's way, I give it five stars because this game is good for my lazy time. Btw, thanks dev!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Let's have another game like this Other people have already gone into detail; therefore, I will make general comments. I found this game to be GREAT fun! ....and that was the major factor for me in addition to the visuals. It was especially enjoyable playing the role of the detective. I mainly used the hint button during a HO when becoming impatient. The goals were somewhat broad. Therefore, when I knew I needed a particular object, it helped to just reason it out as to the most appropriate place to look. Kind of deductive reasoning. For example, if salt was needed, why not head to the kitchen or storeroom. When correct, one could mentally make a check mark for an "AH-Ha" moment. In closing, I really hope more games like this one are developed in the near future. Please do give it a try.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good HOG This is mostly a HOG, and very well done. Excellent graphics, great VOS. HOS are clear and large, but still some are hard to find. The storyline is good: detective investigating a millionaire's murder. A number of good suspects. Hints are only good in the HOS. Otherwise, you are pointed to the task list. Got stuck a couple of times in the few puzzles there were and had to use a walkthru that I found on the web. You have to backtrack quite a bit. There is a map but it only shows the locations of the scenes. Nice music. Good conclusion, but there are inventory items left (?). My time: casual about 5 hours. Enjoyable game.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A wonderful game I started by playing the demo and I didn't get finished with it as I knew that I wanted to purchase it. Graphics are supurb, background music is pleasant - not eerie as some game are, storyline is great. HOG's are not difficult but create a small challenge. Didn't come across any puzzles during my short play in the demo. It has tasks that are easy enough to follow. You collect fingerprints and jewerly items.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hidden Objects Game. I Love The Options :) I Love The Options and Beautiful Graphics. You can play it very relaxed with help mode or you can play where it is very hard with no help hints at all. Most games do not offer that and that is why I love this one the most. I only wish the storyline was longer as it was so beautiful and enjoyable being in the game. The graphics and sound was also very well done. Thank You for this wonderful game. :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What a great house! It was so good to play a game in such a lovely house. Makes such a change from rundown or burntout houses. Excellent graphics. I really enjoyed going from room to room. You have 20 pieces of jewelery to collect & 17 fingerprints. By unchecking the widescreen it will go widescreen. Good storyline & people to investigate. Map shows you where you are & where all the layout of the house is, over 2 floors & outside. Hint system tells you what to do next if you click on your objective, in full detail. No walkthrough needed. Quite an easy games but still enjoyable. I like these new Devs, Urchin. It's also nice to get a SE that is of a reasonable length. I look forward to more games of this high standard. Well done BF & Urchin & thank you.
