Syberia - Part 1 is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 160.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful game! All the Syberia games are my favorite!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful Adventure This is a rare gem of an adventure game! The puzzles are fun, the story is pretty cool and well thought out, the characters grow on you, and there are quite a few laughs. The controls are easy - just use the mouse and watch when the pointer changes. If you double click she will run instead of walking. All 4 parts are available here, in order: Syberia - Part 1, Syberia - Part 2, Syberia - Part 3, and the last one is Syberia II. If you're stuck, use the UHS hint site on the internet.. This game is compatible with Windows 10. There are no bugs preventing you from solving the puzzles. You also don't have to worry about going back to a previously saved game because you cannot make a mistake. Part 2 is mostly just talking to people over and over, but keep playing, it's worth it. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from In My Top 10 of All Time (Probably Top 5 ... Heck, Top 3!) I first purchased this game five years ago and am just now replaying it. I had forgotten how extraordinary the Syberia series is. The writing is top-notch. The voices are perfect. The scenes are gorgeous. The story line is original and compelling. Best of all, there's none of that spinning action that nauseates me. I just read that a Syberia III will be released soon (not to be confused with the Syberia 3 offered now by BFG, which I believe had something to do with breaking up the large files). I'm thrilled beyond belief. This game is a treasure; I never want it to end. At least now, it will continue a bit ... I rank the Syberia series up there with my other favorites: the three Agatha Christie adventure games, all of the Carol Reed mysteries from MDNA games, the original Mystery Case Files (before being assigned to another developer), Art of Murder / Chronicles of Mystery, Kheops games, NiBiRu, and the Sherlock Holmes games. Best replayed after many years, once you've forgotten how special it is!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A LOT of fun I am a HUGE fan of this genre. I enjoyed the graphics on this game and the ambiance it set. Puzzles weren't too hard but still a challenge. I gave a 4 on storyline only because I am one of those people that just want to play and often ignore dialogue.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing all the parts, love Adventure games We need more games like this, not only "Hidden Objects" games, we need (players like me) games like Syberia or Nancy Drew.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Queen of the Tundra! You'll read no end of reviews about the Syberia series and yes, there's some duplication and it's a pretty tough game to play, you'll need a walk-through or two (Not all are inclusive and some leave out vital hints.) but for charm and beauty, this is the best game I've ever played. It's a "Steampunk" masterpiece and a lot of fun once you get involved in the plot, the characters and not the least, the amazing back drop art work. I just hope there're more episodes in the works (Pun intended...). For a challenge and a story you'll embrace, this is the series to own. Yes, you may have to buy all the episodes to access the entire adventure but catch them on sale and you're talking about roughly the price of three large coffee's from SB's. Worth it and then some.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Engaging and challenging Not like other "seek-and-find" type games, this one is quite challenging in many ways, and the storyline across all three Chapters is better than I've experienced. You have to be careful when putting together the clues (keep track of what is said, by even the most innocuous of characters), and I like the fact there is no paranormal aspect to it. I'm tired of ghosts and spirits. There was a technical glitch in Part 2 (an important character was stuck in a gesture and as such, I could not advance. So I had to Trash the current game and re-install a new game - finally got it to work.) This was a pain, but after re-installing, I was able to get through all of it. Well worth the time and investment.
