Rated 5 out of 5 by from AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME This is one of the best games that I have played yet. I played it 3 times in 3 weeks. Story was excellent and spooky. Graphics were beautiful with a lot of spooky scenes. I enjoyed finding the fabled objects. Some of them were really hard to find. Hidden objects weren't too hard to find. Thanks Blue Tea for a GREAT and AWESOME game.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Creepy Game! This is a great game! I just completed the Standard Edition and thought the game was fun, creepy, lengthy, and very well made; a solid 4.5 rating. The story was very interesting and engaging, and the play and visual effects were excellent. I had a lot of fun playing it and appreciated all of the following that make a game fun for me: - 3 levels of difficulty. I played "Normal" which had a faster Hint Button recharge. - Good graphics, soundtrack, and voiceover - Map showing stuff to be done (only used it a couple of times) - Hint Button: Very helpful for checking if anything was left to do in a scene. In fact, my only minor complaint about the game was rechecking scenes for things to do. However, once I started using the Hint Button ("There is nothing to do here now.") it was no longer an issue. - Innovative "tools" to collect and figure out how to use later in the game - Not too many HOs, not too dark, and included objects that needed manipulating and objects needed to move the play forward - Mini games were easy, but fun - Excellent length, had fun playing it for days I know this sounds weird, but I also liked all the rats! I hate rats, but they made for a lot of creepy fun. By the end of the game, I was even giving them a nudge once in awhile to see them run. lol! This is a quality game, I do not have any hesitations recommending it. Thank you, Blue Tea Games.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Highly Enjoyable I really enjoyed this game. It has delightfully detailed graphics with a compelling story. I didn't need to use a walkthrough, but I didn't feel it was that easy, either. While you did need to move around a bit towards the end of the game, there's an adorable smoky cat in the hints area to help you figure it out. If the theme of the Pied Piper and Killer Rat swarms appeal to you (really, not that graphic or disturbing), this is a great game.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Diabolical Revenge Another great game from Blue Tea. 3 game mode change if desired via the options, wide screen function ... Cinematic incredible. Graphics still as beautiful and profound. Superb music both shocking and disturbing. Animations, effects, sounds, light and amazing colors. The presentation of the game is very careful in every detail. 20 enchanted objects very difficult to locate, there are sometimes two in a scene and you have to keep coming back to get them apart. This time Blue Tea included scenes of hidden beautiful but sometimes difficult level of interactivity objects because there is no indication and multiple objects are interactive but not all are used for other " classical " objects it's relatively easy and clear. Thoughtful, easy and interactive mini-games,it's really original and enjoyable. Sets and places filled with magic and mystery and investigation punctuated actions and information to discover. A map that shows only interesting places. A raven,a key .... we use to move forward. A diary with a tab for each location and adjacent information. A game not to be missed. Blue Tea thank you for your dazzling at any point of view and thank you Big Fish Games to offer us these quality games games.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What a Surprise from the Blue Tea This is after playing the full SE game. One of the reviewers mentioned that this was really different from the other games from Blue Tea and they were correct, but that isn't always a bad thing. No this isn't the pretty pick out the goodies to assemble something to use, it is a rather dark and sinister game, but it was really good and fun to play. You don't really have a journal, but you do have the objectives and a map. The map does not transport you and you must do all the running around yourself. That is the only reason I lowered the fun factor. You do a lot of running and trying to figure out what to do next. There are other helpers as you progress through the game. Now for all you folks who love CE games because of the morphing objects and all that stuff. I forgot about the morphing collection until I hit one by mistake. So I survived without all that and did very well, thank you. Don't you forget to look for them and look like a fool like me. The quality of the graphics and sound were Tea quality. No complaints there. The colors and backgrounds are very well done and since this is a sinister story the music fit right in. Not bad at all. The challenge of this game is figuring out where in the world to go next. The map gives some help, but not like some games. The mini games are fun and I could even do them so you know they weren't hard or I wouldn't even mention them. There is some effort, but for the most part, they are my kind of games. The story is excellent. It has a beginning a middle and an end. The story is consistent with the theme and allows you to get involved with the characters if you wish. It is a great game. If you can get past the storyline being different than the other Blue Tea games I think you will enjoy it. I sure did and spent hours doing so. I highly recommend this game.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent all round Get your walking shoes on and chase the Piper around old Hamelin! And you'll need to take a snack along and bottled water to sustain you on the journey! This is a very long game, especially for a SE and the map does not transport you to areas of activity. I'd recommend taking some notes along the way to remember where things are that need actions because the map really is very basic. But strangely that is a good thing, it made me think and actually work my way through the game, much as it used to be in the old days of adventure games. That is where the challenge is in this game, you have to work through it, there are no shortcuts/ There is not really much to complain about here, the story is good, the HOS are decent, the characters okay, the cut scenes nicely spread out, and there are some surprises along the way. There are some objects which (if you can find them in the scenery) add to the refresh time for your hints bar. There are 4 objects to find which are needed to progress further. All in all, very satisfying game.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An excellent thinking game As I read the other's reviews who were so dissatisfied, I wondered if I had made a huge mistake in getting the game- but then I went to the BLOG walkthrough WHENEVER I got stuck- and sure enough- it kept me going!!! You don't have to use it but it really does help. Overall- I loved this game and hated for it to end- had lots of twists and turns! Wish I could play it again!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good long game As the fellow reviewers have already commented, this game really is well done meeting the highest standards. I played in Hard mode which is not as difficult in some other games, but gives good challenge anyway. Playing the map all around without hints requires good amount of thinking and remembering where each lock/puzzle is as well as figuring out what to do with each found object. To me the puzzles were (too) easy in this game, meaning that you can solve them after a minute of thinking, in your first try. However, there are not too many puzzles so this did not disturb too much. Hidden object scenes are clear and easy to see, but still nicely built that not all the items can be found straight away. There is a lot to search and play in this game, several hours of collecting items and problem solving, big map to search around, quite good logic in how the locations are linked and only a couple (too) simple puzzles balanced with also a couple of very hard points to figure out the next step. Very good game where the story videos do not take time away from gameplay. Recommended!
